Having recently completed his epic battle against the Right Hand Man of the Godfather of New York, our hero strolled out into the streets to catch a bit of fresh air. To that end, he sparked up a ciggie.

He'd noticed a hand written league table pinned to the wall, and had a perusal to see how people were doing. Smiling to himself, he realised he'd be up against Stamina in the next round. He was a good lad was Stamina, but Spuff would have to put any such feelings aside in order to give him a solid trouncing. Serious business is this chess lark. And frankly, there hadn't been enough trash talk in the tournament so far. Time to correct this imbalance.

Stamina. Man, you're gonna get fucked up boy! Your opening gambits are weak! And don't even get me started on your end game. End LAME more like! Oh yes, that's right, I went there.

Satisfied with a job well done, Spuff decided to have a bit of a flutter on himself.

Evens you say? Worth a punt I reckon.

Handing a brown paper envelope stuffed with hundred dollar bills to DanK, the mighty protagonist of the story tucked his thumbs behind his suspenders and wandered off down the street, whistling a merry tune.

Enjoying a few drinks with his most loyal bodyguard Vitaly, Stamina slouches back in his chair and thinks back to his opening matches in the tournament. Upon his face a beaming smile from ear to ear, the feeling of confidence fills the room.

You know Vitaly, I was the first winner of a match in the tournament and the first to secure a path to the knockout phase. I have a good feeling we're going to be in the money soon enough!

Nodding and laughing, he agrees with Stamina before relaying a few of the choice words from SpuffWaffle.

Well, I can almost see where he gets the confidence from...

Stamina sits quietly for a few seconds before sitting up and looking around him. He takes a big drink from his glass and leans forward with a look of intent.

I see the mistake he is making with the confidence. I can't see any odds next to my name on DanK's board. In fact, my name isn't even there?

My father was once overlooked by many, many people not that long ago too. He surprised the masses when it was announced how busy he was with a string of jailbreaks in each of the cities. Before, his name hadn't even been thrown in the mix.

In comparison, a match against Spuff will be a walk in the park. Multiple victories over the former favourite the previous evening shows I'm not to be taken lightly. He's worried alright...

Slumping back and supping his drink again, he slips into a daydream and visualises the stack of cash he's so close to winning...

DanK walks back to the streets fairly embarassed

I would like to apologise to Stamina for what can only be discribed as a major oversight. Everytime I came here I knew I was forgetting something, and could not work out what it was. I seem to of forgotten about one of the favourites. Normally, Stamina's odds wouldve been around evens, but due to my error, I will happily offer 5/1 until the end of the first round (this evening)

MrBrick approaches DanK's blackboard and peruses its contents. Muttering under his breath, he reaches into his pocket at produces a packet of cigarettes and a brown envelope. Withdrawing a cigarette from the pack and lighting it, he inhales deeply, then blows smoke into Dank's face.

Here's twenty grand. I'll put ten on myself, and ten on Stamina.

MrBrick looks at the ground thoughtfully and spits.Then turns and walks away, readjusting his tiara.

Well, thats another group completed!

DanK returns to the streets and rubs his blackboard down...he picks up his chalk and starts to right
