Now, I haven't been counting but I believe I've only heard two ideas be put forth. One from myself, and one from Lincoln_Lawyer. I'm happy to put money up for some Good Causes, but it sure is hard to do without any here.

I still think my idea would be the most intense writing contest ever.  

"If you don't get along I'm turning the car around and Nobody gets to go to @#$%N Villiancon!"  Everyone has to say something nice about all the other participants plus one for anytime they posted another's name in this thread .

 

Over the years to date, I cannot count how many folks I have encountered who feel inferior. (Not good enough to RP) I tell everyone who tells me this to never underestimate themselves. I can see why inferiority plays a role because there were and are some great writers. Hell, I was memorized by a writer a month or so ago. I tipped handsomely and asked if they ever considered writing a book. 

The derogatory comments when one makes the effort to role play has got to end. We have language barriers where English is not the first language. We have different levels of education. 

This is what I propose: A contest for all levels such as beginner, intermediate and experienced. And take it from there.
