Hmm definitely some interesting theories out there and in here!  I'll be honest I don't know!  But I'm good with that.  It's definitely possible!  It's a little arrogant and lonely of an idea to assume that we are the only intelligent beings in the universe.  But to be honest, I haven't received enough proof one way or another to make an educated assessment.  But hey!  We can dream and imagine!  And we may even come to know for sure some day!  Who knows?  

A UFO is an unidentified flying object which if you see something flying in the sky and can not  identify it, it  is thus a UFO.

This means that a UFO is not necessarily proof of life existing on another planet. They can terrestrial and most are. It is also quite silly to believe that UFO's are only extraterrestrial. 

As for extraterrestrial life and the existence of it, I believe it is out there. It is rather presumptuous of us and arrogant to believe we are the only intelligent life in this universe or other universes yet to be explored. 

Not sure what exactly was the question but I personally believe there are extraterrestrial life out there.

UFO however, no.

Even if this world defies the odds on how it was formed, survived etc, there are bound to others out there, i just am not so sure they will be close enough to ever contact us.   

We continue to live in a age where conspiracy theorists see a weather balloon as a UFO, and governments run secret projects on new weaponry and vehicles which no one can identify, so i won't say is impossible, but not very likely to cross them anytime soon

I think the galaxy is still young and waaaay bigger than we can realise. Meaning that even if intelligent life exists elsewhere, it is also probably too far away for us to see them. There is a possibility they have advanced further than us and they can see us. I doubt we will see them in our lives..

Of course  there are Ufos. it is mathematically sure there are millions of life forms. whether we see, hear them is a different  thing. there are some among us, i think yes. 

I certainly believe that life could exist elsewhere in the universe. But UFO's in the classical sense, I'm not so convinced. It's just too easy for your eyes/mind to play tricks on you and jump to conclusions when you see something that you don't understand.

I also think the 'great filter' theory is pretty solid. Basically its one of the possible reasons for the fermi paradox, that there is 'something' or some point that means life is incredibly rare. Either we're already past that filter (like the creation of life) and we're potentially the only ones, or we've yet to come up against the filter, and when we do it will wipe us out!

I’m a bit of both, although more Rare Earth than UFO believer; I believe that the likelihood of there being some sort of alien life out there somewhere is relatively high. Intelligent life, however - not so likely, and with the vastness of time in the galaxy, the chances of two intelligent life forms developing concurrently at this precise moment in the history of the universe, I would say, are slim.

I believe anything is possible, I don't think we are alone, yet I don't think we have been visited.  The real question is how we would act if we had a visit and they spoke with us can you imagine the terror and the actions taken by the people here?

Agreed, I think it's a bit silly to think we're alone when it's been established exactly how big the universe is -- the Earth is but a speck! I agree we've never been visited as well, I don't think.

I agree with Climax. It's silly and selfish to think like that and i bet might have planet inhabited with some kind of life form. On the matter if we have already been visited? I doubt that it would be a good idea to be publicized because it would raise hysteria on a good part of the world population.

Exactly, slowly we are discovering the universe so it's question of time until find something.
