The God of wine and revelry pours wine for all

'I love a grey and she may have given birth recently but she has Hermes speed, go on my filly'

Bruno picked up a piece of paper lying on the ground a few feet from Heston . A few idle puffs on his Cuban made the cherry spark back to life as his eyes read across the details to Heston's gambit on the Grand Nationals. A hushed conversation with his trusted guard Frankie sent the man off to the car. A few minutes later he came back with a briefcase and handed it over to Bruno. He carried the case over to Heston with the same hand that held his cigar between his index and middle finger.

Gambling had always been a favored pass time when there was an extra coin, or briefcase in this case, in Bruno's collection. There was something about playing the horses that made you feel like you really had a chance of winning big.

"A fine idea from Philli's most famous chef. You can count me in signore. I hope you aren't going to sit around and make me wait for it to be counted. It's all there I assure you. Now if you'd please hand me over that ticket stub so I can get the details right for the frame I'll have to put it in after winning this whole shindig that'd be swell," Bruno chuckled as he set the case down in front of the don. He took another puff from his Partagas as he awaited his 'winning' ticket stub.

Heston saw Brunoaccardo smoking a cigar and thought that was a brilliant idea taking a couple of briefcases into the office he grabbed a cigar and cut the tip and light it taking a few big puffs the room filled with smoke. Taking the cigar back out front he wrote out a few betting slips.

BrunoAccardo has been given Escaria Ten

Rama_the_Cama is next in through the door Heston thought this animal was weird but had nice fur. Heston's mind wondered to what the animal would taste like, How could you cook it, Would it be a fatty meat or lean and need slow cooking. Heston is brought back to reality with a briefcase with a million dollars inside. Taking the briefcase out back to have it counted and stacked with the rest Heston carries on wondering about the camel llama thing.

Writing out a betting slip Heston hands it to the animal Brahma Bull is your horse it seems pretty fitting

"Good luck"

Next in line is Voodoo Heston takes the offered briefcase passes it around back and writes out a betting slip

Voodoo has been given Minella Times

"This horse has gone to the favourite this morning it is also last years winner good luck"

Finding Heston's look at his muscular hind legs rather peculiar, Rama felt it would be best to buy off that look with a furry briefcase stacked with $14 bills. As 71,482 bills were just shy of the entry fee, the furry animal added an eight dollar bill.

Brahma Bull.. Rama repeated after Heston

Sounds like a unwoolly yet divine creature to me. I am glad I didnt get last year's winner, like Voodoo did, cause the odds of some horse winning it once is camalogically way bigger than winning it twice.

Thank you, chef!

Heston thought he would be busier selling horses in his small betting shop but business was slow so he decided to amend the rules slightly and up the ante a little by allowing TWO bets per person. Bebe was the first to take Heston up on the offer and with two briefcases in hand she enters the betting shop hands over the cash and awaits a two betting slips

Bebe has been given Death Duty

Bebe has been given Cloth Cap

Good luck

"If anyone who has already placed a bet wishes to make another then please do so thank you all so far"

The last hour before the race had kept Heston very busy he handled so much money and wrote so many betting slips there wasn't time for anything else. Ten minutes before the race started Circle-of-Fire had sent two bags of cash and instructed Heston to write bet slips one for @Jumbone and one for The-Fox. Heston wrote the slips out and handed them to the recipients. Time for the race Heston turned the wireless on and searched for the broadcast for a change there was no false start all the horses began to run the first fence of course there was a faller. Getting close to the end of the race Heston lent in as close as he could get to the speaker and desperately listened hoping for a good winner

"The winner is Noble Yeats at 50/1" Heston checked his little black book and found the name of the horse and paired it with @Jumbone, Checking a few times to make sure he had made no mistakes "Nope no mistakes" Heston sat at his desk and picked up the phone and called the winner "I will send Ruby_Rose and a team of bodyguards on a private flight to deliver all of this money congratulations" With that Heston put the receiver down and made  sure that all of the money was here and packaged nicely before sending it on its way

This is the first time Gnash would even go to the races, let alone betting on a couple of horses for himself.  Gnash didn't get excited for many things, but he was definitely excited about this.  Something inside of him always lights up at the sign of any kind of gambling.  That could be a good thing and most definitely a bad thing.

Gnash sat around the streets at all of the people making commotion about the upcoming race.  He had no clue what it took to make a good racehorse, so he was betting at random.  He stood in line to make his bet.  When he got to the front of the line, Heston was manning the bets.

"Hey, Chef.  This is an interesting setup you have here, I quite much like what you're doing.  Also, I've never bet on horses before but put me down for bets two random horses."

Gnash handed his boss two suitcases full of cash equaling the amount needed.  Heston wrote his name down under the random bets list and Gnash thanked his boss and headed off to get himself something to eat nearby.
