While that is well and good toranos alot of things have changed since them it seems most people that choose the life of crime do so because their father did before them and they have made friends through that avenue, the best we can try to do is demolish the purging that goes on, and while it is difficult becaus esome people will hold grudges it is not impossible |

Whilst I understand the point you're trying to make mullet, the problem now is that in sixty days, the descendants of people who have been taken out by this newest group will be in the same position that this group was. Will this group then allow these people to reach that point? Or will they do the very thing they're using as justification for this take out? This cycle will continue. If it was only one godfather per city, there would be no guarantee that they have a friendship with all the other cities godfathers. And it would be solely their call to wage a war. Eventually someone would decide to do so. Too many chefs spoil the broth as it were, with three godfathers who are mostly equal, with their own friendships, it's no wonder wars are rarer now. Perhaps we could do away with the position of godfather chairman, and simply have one godfather per city, with simple crew leaders in the outer districts. Rather than a council of equals, we need one strong leader in each city. |

Purging is that disgusting tactic of killing any and everyone who is considered a threat because they weren't verified or vouched for. Bloodlining is targeting known lineage who are very likely to be a threat to you. Purging is harmful to our society and that’s what make the word ugly. It’s lazy compared to the grunt work involved in bloodlining. Yet both rely heavily on the cooperation of every leader. You've failed if you placed outside of the group friends above the group's interest and consequently run the risk of having the long game played on you. Reducing districts and expanding cities does nothing to stop neither purging or bloodlining. All it would do is lessen the networking involved today. Of course, you know that already or else you wouldn’t have mentioned the others unwillingness to do so. If your goal was to stop purging and bloodlining then taking heed in what Mullet has to say would be wise. Burying the hatchet and ending old grudges. Unfortunately many people who genuinely try to do this get taken advantage of and so it becomes a cycle. Honestly... I don't think a world without the controversy would be very interesting. Though I'm on the outside no matter who is in charge so seeing change every now and then is always fun. |

Weezer, my father was an outsider. Now, fair enough, as he was an outsider, he was constantly the subject of suspicion from certain other members of the 'group'. I know that he was repeatedly accused of being a part or having links to certain numerically named groups. Despite having no idea who that group of people was. (Funnily enough, my line has often been friends with people from that group without knowing what they were associated to.) Still, he was given the opportunity to be a crew leader. As an outsider. As a complete unknown to Lincoln_Lawyer, CLO and Freyja. That isn't the M.O of a group that is purging. Lincoln_Lawyer investing 41 million into my fathers setting up a crew wasn't a typical purgers action. Freyja investing hundreds of millions into the hiring and training of bodyguards for my father and his hands was not typical of purgers. The more I look at it, the more I think, this line that these people are going down, that Chicago and Detroit were purging is nonsense. I think the fact that these people were passed over for promotions had no basis on them being unverified or untrusted. Infact, just the night before the first wave hit, I was in a group of people discussing hiring more bodyguards for three of the people who then proceeded to kill the very leaders who were trying to look out for them that following morning. Climax, Dougan and Vantastik being those three. It definitely sounds like they were about to be purged. |

It won't happen again. There will be threats killed. I'm not into bloodlines. Anyone who knows me knows this. I have thought in these street that a sons actions are not his father's. What my point is, and it stands up here, is regardless how nice and fluffy you make it, people want power. It might be because they don't like the leaders, they want the kudos or they think they can do better. Whatever it is somebody ALWAYS comes after the top. If you keep a circle, accept those you trust and prune those you don't then its very difficult to overthrow until they get bored/sloppy/lazy. Had the pruning been completed here there would be triple the number of guns left standing and the other side would have a lot less chance of pulling this off. The last few days prove this theory to be true. |

I dont want power so I wouldn't worry about that. My line have walked these shores for many years, through many incarnations, where different things worked for different folks. Purging has always occurred in one form or another. Whether it be individuals or whole cities seen as threats. They weren't killed because they were bad people but because they were a threat. Good luck with it mullet. I hope you succeed. I genuinely do. |

Thank you for your opinions friend. I can see some good discussions here that some are for killing people when they have big enough guns, and others who think you shouldn't kill people based on gun notches or bloodlines. I thank you for your opinion though. I definitely changed my opinion on you initially because of it. I can completely understand your logic, and I thank you. It's been a great discussion, and I thank mostly everyone for their opinions. If I ever hit it big on the lottery, I'll personally buy some of you shrinks to talk to, since it sounds like several of you may need some closure. |
