I can recall this rule extending as far back as my great grandaddy MickyFinn's reign in Chicago.No Crewleaders or RHM were allowed to contact any newcomers to these shores.It was discussed and decided uponway back then.Now NEW LEADERS and NEW RHM/RHW should take heed of certain things upon taking control of their own destiny..."Ignorance of the rules is no excuse" And before you jump up and down screaming Foul! That there is no stone with this rule inscribed into it...just like the 48 hour rule...it is common knowledge to those who pay attention. My family line has always been and always will be one to extend a hand to help out those who lack knowledge of this way of life.But there are certain ways we do it,and that is the end of it.I can see no point in saying anything more,as it is actually quite simple to digest. |

I have to worry about your grasp on our history, Caveman. It's at an all time low. No it isn't. Not even close. Morale, numbers, everything is at an all time low. Again with the numbers? No, they aren't at an all time low. Not even close. As far as morale, someone is always saying morale is low. What they usually mean is "morale is low among me and my five friends", and the reason their morale is usually low is because they don't fly straight and get killed. It's hard to feel sorry for someone who brings about their own condition through their actions and poor decisions. And what exactly is "everything else"? Not even during the Anita regime were things this bad. You make it sound like it was the dark ages. It was during her reign that the population exploded from 20ish to the highest it has ever been. It is only slightly less than that peak right now. Maybe quit with the drama queen act and start enjoying yourself, and others will understand the appeal? |

You're right. I wrote it. If the leaders aren't going to care about new players... why should I? I want this place to grow, I do, but if the people at the top are going to sit around and say "Oh no, I'm not going to talk to new people, I have peons to do that for me." why should I be one of those peons? But it also amuses me that a lot of the people who are leaving are all "OMGZ I DON'T LIKE IT WHEN IT'S ALL UNDER ONE GROUP'S CONTROL!" Well, I don't remember you leaving when Anita was in control. One person in particular, and I think you know who I mean, has left because of CP rule, yet was *instrumental* in Anita's takeover. So what you mean isn't "OMGZ I DON'T LIKE IT WHEN IT'S ALL UNDER ONE GROUP'S CONTROL!", you mean "OMGZ I DON'T LIKE IT WHEN IT'S ALL UNDER ONE GROUP'S CONTROL AND I'M NOT IN THAT GROUP!". Which is fucking idiotic. If you don't like people acting like despots, well, you shouldn't act like a despot yourself. I don't like the CP. I know, shock shock, but that doesn't mean I'm going to try and kill them. Using Limoncello as your excuse of "See, THIS is why we can't auth anyone but our friends!" is retarded because she was an unstable paranoid bitch. I mean, I don't see Ellis running around trying to kill people, do you? I joined PoC because I wanted to try and work through things with Deviant. Not because I like the CP. We were friends long ago, shit happened, and we stopped being friends. I wanted to try and put that past us, and he gave me the opportunity. But my feelings about the CP have never changed. I do my best for my boss because he's my boss, regardless of whether or not I like him personally. People need change. Stangnancy has NEVER been good for this thing of ours, regardless of who was in charge. Anita, Ganelon, and Evsie were all very good friends of mine, yet when they started taking over and making this place into their own private kingdoms, I tried talking them out of it, and when that didn't work, I left. You're not kings. You're not royalty. Trying to turn this place into your own private fiefdom has NEVER worked. People get pissed off, and they leave. Every time. I just wish people would learn this. Maybe we could focus on *community* instead of *fuck you, you're not one of us!* |

Mr_47 and El_Nino aren't CP last time I checked Finlandia...yes they came from CP crews but its rather hard not to when they were the ones left standing after the last war. Far as I remember 47 only came back recently and has never been CP...and El_Nino has never been CP |

El_Nino's a CL? Really? Wow. And you know who a *lot* of people have been pushing for to become a CP, so don't pretend like it's "gasp, you mean we're overlooking someone? *shock*". The fact that she has people who want her to be authed has prevented her from ever getting auth. You know it, just as well as I do. And no, this isn't a "OMG AUTH TIGGY" speech, I've given up on that, as have most of us. It's never going to happen. |

Probably because she has done nothing to merit it. Just because you're under the illusion she has, doesn't mean anyone else is. It takes more than being a cash cow. If you restrict yourself to that aspect of this world, that is as far as you'll get. |
