Well, I'm glad that your last slight is not for me. I never ignored your mails. Actually, last time we talked, I had the last message. So my conscious is clear from that one. smiles |

The man is right.
This morning I woke up and over 50 percent of the population were marionnettes (NPM), and more than half of the rest were underlined.
of the underlined, 3 were insanely well protected and 6 were goomba or below.
how the hell did this world allow this to happen?
Chuckie baby, this world is too sanitized, too easily progressed and too comfortably ruled.
There is no room for a maverick anymore. no longer can you 'change it' if you don't like it.
I'm here for the peanuts and the grooming.
good day. |

I find it to be that the debates that bring out the most outrage are either when someone speaks up, and it's generally regarded that they are a moron, so everyone gets pissed at them for speaking, or when someone speaks up and says something uncomfortable that hits a nerve and so everyone gets pissed at them for saying the uncomfortable thing. |

The thing with not naming any names is exactly that; regardless of what you believe, I haven't named names. By not doing so, I allow for people to make their own assumption as to who I mean and then interpret it accordingly. If you think that you "all know who I'm talking about", then it is because you identify the exact qualities (or lack of) in certain people and decide that is who I'm talking about. Equally, if you feel that this was aimed at you, then perhaps you're defending from attacks at what you perceive to be your own weaknesses. Whether you intended to or not, by doing this, you're supporting what I've said and acknowledging the existence of these characteristics.

I have to say, I can clearly remember being told of times when Mafioso wearing the bold suit were gunned down for not having enough presence in the streets. I'm sure all of us have ancestors that were either shooters, victims, witnesses or some combination thereof in those situations. But now it seems everyone seems to be afraid that they will be shot if they Do have any street presence. Hell, I know that sometimes we just don't have time to hit the streets; those of us on top do have responsibilities to fulfill, other duties to take care of, "normal" lives to lead so as not to arouse suspicion. But really? To do absolutely nothing? |

I'm still a nobody in the mass of nobodies, but I thought long and hard about what Chuckle has said today. I considered his points, while his tone was harsh, and some of you thin skinned folks took it to heart, he is only telling the truth. Get the fuck out of your headquarters, stop hiding behind your bodyguards. Let me tell you a little secret, they're not going to stop you from dying, they're only delaying it till someone whos tired of you takes aim at you. Make a fucking stand, even if its within your own city. Just show this world of ours you're not here to watch your federal bank grow so you can buy more bodyguards for people to shoot later down the road. Stop being a crewleader so you can purchase some more NPMs and start using you connections and even your gun if you have to. No one is going to care when you die, no one is going to remember you when you're gone, no one will even blink twice if you dont do something now. I'm Joe fucking nobody, I didnt come back to this thing of ours to lead, I came back to support friends and allies Ive made over the years. When I'm gone, no one will remember me, but thats a ok with me. Its you bold suits hiding in a sea of anonymity who will sit back once you see the 'youve been fitted with cement shoes' screen who will then begin to second guess themselfs and ask what they could or should have done better. Most of what has been said here will be ignored, based upon the fact that most leaders could find the streets without a map these days. |

There are active people on the Streets - but the weak and supine "leaders" stifle discussions. |

My thought of the day; This proves either 1 of two things:
1) It is not as dangerous to speak in the streets as some say. You are able to bring well thought out, provoking debate without the fear of reprisals, and the many people who say street talking gets you killed, are wrong.
2) People who feel 'direspected' by what Chuckle has said and have not acted against him show that Chuckle is right, that people are too fearful to stick their head above the parapet.
So which one is it? |

I agree with this. It's quite the problem that this is probably one of the more interesting things that has happened and peope are finally coming to the streets to say something. I also agree with most everything that you, Chuckle, have said. I never interpreted it has a 'call to arms' or whatever bullshit.
I feel that it's more of calling out the silent-ghost-type crewleaders that are pretty much anonymous. You could probably name a few crewleaders and half of us might say "who?" That is so sad. What's even sadder is when some of these leaders do not even do their threads announcing their recent boldy attitude. That truly blows my mind. I'm not bothered if it's a few days later, but not at all? What the fuck? Are people really that lazy? I mean come on. Can you not even put SOME effort into your leadership?
Although, I did feel that your first speech, Chuckle, seemed a bit of a rant and a big 'fuck all of you, in your faces' type thing. But perhaps that it wouldn't've garnered as much attention. One does have to do something drastic to stir up this stale place.
Because that is what it has become. A gigantic stale craphole. People just waiting for others to either retire or slip up or finally do something, which is unlikely to ever happen. |

BULLSHIT!! There are tireless and dedicated people working hard, with limited resources, to take out ensconsed leaders and breathe life into this thing - the underground groups that have sprung up. And for taking a stand we get called terrorists, we get bloodline hunted and barred from cities, crews and other venues. And Chuckle, you aren't blameless in this persecution. |

We all need something from this life we choose, whether it be financial gain and the trappings it brings or the power to call the shots, or just some way of flexing yourself that is not easily catered for elsewhere. Some may be more than happy to sit back and let it happen around them, occasionally throwing in their support for their crew and city as and when required. I believe the essence of what has been suggested is a fundamental part of the makeup necessary of any mobster worth his or her salt.
Now let`s be honest with ourselves here.........what is actually happening? Anything?
Are we to be content with the lack of activity from the top? Is there really a fear to come to the streets and say what you think? Have we got that comfortable within the confines of our orthopaedic chairs and carpet slippers? Does the fear of losing everything mean that you would not stick your neck out for something that is essential and necessary within our society?
If the answer is yes to any of those questions then I for one would question whether you have chosen the right career path.
I am more than happy to fully support the words from Chuckle. I see it too. The lack of verve that is necessary to keep this thing of ours spinning is more than apparent. There is a sense of complacency which is something that ultimately leads to stagnation and discontent, the thoughts of which I find particularly alarming I must say.
This is an honourable society, the values and standards of which we all should be capable of upholding. It is also a hard, unforgiving and lonely place for some. A place where you live or die by your actions, succeed or fail by your abilities, and fly by the seat of your pants when confronted by another member whose intentions are of a similar nature. This world needs the entrepreneur, the self made men and women who wish to build an empire of their own. The political animal whose sole intention is to succeed whatever the price, the one who would rule by the sword and quite happily lay down their life in the defence of their autocratic lifestyle. It is not just a case of making room these individuals; it should be a prerequisite in order to maintain a healthy balance of personalities.
Now I haven`t been as vocal as some in these streets but, enough is enough. It`s time something was done about the current state of affairs. I too would ask all those individuals who have the power and authority to make a change to take a good, hard, long look in the mirror and ask themselves this question;
Do I really look good in this suit, or is it a reflection of someone I`d like to be. |
