While I don't think any diet soda tastes the same as it's high fructose corn syrup laden equivalent, I would say that Diet Dr. Pepper is the closest approximation to the real thing. Diet Mt. Dew tastes terrible, in my humble opinion. I do like Mt Dew Zero, as well as Dr. Pepper and all the other Zeroes.

Nope. live in the UK and i would not let Diet Dr Pepper touch my tongue, is the sugar or nothing for me.   I never understand when people are like. it tastes the same, or it doesn't taste that different.   It is obvious the taste difference,

Dr. Pepper is best one the other one no good lol its one best soda out there. i love Dr. Pepper its the best one out the soda i dont like Dr. Pepper

I am not a huge Dr Pepper fan, but my girlfriend and her daughter are obsessed with regular Dr. Pepper. 

Diet anything pretty much has no relation at all to the original. That said, diet Dr Pepper makes an attempt at tasting like the original. 

It would have to be Dr. pepper obviously.  Its really the only kind of soda I drink.  Anything diet is gross, doesn't taste right.

It's impossible.  The aspartame and the sugar just do not taste the same.  

I'm certainly not against havnig a diet doctor pepper - but to say the they taste the same is just not accurate.
