Never has the burden of power been more evident than the last 24 hours. In less than 2 weeks since the deaths of Roman and Premeir the cities have completely fallen into chaos. I look at what we currently are about to face and am petrified for the future of our world: JesseJames is about to be the figurehead we all bow to. This will take all the snakecharming skill that Grin has to keep the manchild reeled in, but in all likelihood this place is about to become a barren wasteland. That is our future, but let's rewind to 2 weeks ago when Roman and Premeir fell for tyranny and assorted other reasons.

When my ancestor got word there would be a takedown on the two most powerful mobsters in the world, I was stunned at the audacity. He spent his short life shooting at bodyguards and generally enjoying the solidarity shown by everyone in the war room. After the two monsters were dispatched, cheers rang out from the streets and I thought for sure it would carry over to a new type of empire.

Speeches were made over the first couple days lauding the teamwork of all the cities and personal stories of how certain mobsters impacted the war. Those couldn't last forever though, and then people started making speeches about how they were able to make speeches again freely (by the way I expect to be covered under that right). Unfortunately, one public address would've sufficed, because I've never seen so many people making the same speech and really not saying anything at all.

The rise of the street speeches died almost as quickly as it came back, and then all that was left were shifty eyes and public questions wondering who would be the top dog. 13 days after the removal of Roman and Premeir, every city proved they couldn't hold the mantle without dropping it. Were Roman and Premeir tyrants? To most people, yes. Did they deserve to die? To the majority, absolutely. Did we deserve better than the people we were left with? Well I think that was answered for itself today.

The new rally cry appears to be, "Well that's the mafia". Well, that may be some peoples' versions. My version would be to make money, have some longevity, and attain respect in my peers' eyes.

To recap for the folks who missed out on the betrayals and events of today and what led us here, this is what I could gather from eye witness accounts.

JesseJames - Known for meltdowns in public that lead to him begging for cities to die. Also known for betraying Roman and then Katarina, but mostly for the anger issue. He is currently the most powerful person relative to where everyone else is at in history. We can only hope Grin stays on as RHM so that JesseJames doesn't continually level the entire population because someone hurt his feelings.

Chuckle - Incredible strategist before a war, to a level just below Anita's bloodline. However, when it's time to put boots to asses, Chuckle was more prone to allowing the heavy lifters to do the work. During the war his judgment is questionable though as I have it on good authority that Jade wanted peace. To that request one could have two reactions:
Normal reaction: Sure, but you need to help us kill LV (then wait for Jade to drop her guard 24 hours later and kill her avoid casualties)
Chuckle/Chicago reaction: LOL FUQ U HOLMES (adios SexyBeast, worked out great)

AlabamaWorley - Has yet to make one decision as a city head that impacts another city. Normally joins the "horde", but never leads it.

SexyBeast - Well the puppet strings got cut. Chuckle should have been running Chicago as SexyBeast lacked the type of intelligence to survive a war he had first strike in. I've heard from 2 sources with no evidence presented that the plan was to HQ wack JesseJames after Chade was dead, but that didn't pan out great for SexyBeast.

Chicago - Stuff of legends. Obviously you are a much stronger group than your predecessors. Some of you are still alive, but a good chunk of the power players are dead 2 weeks after their most shining moment.

Detroit - Who knows? Are they happy, go lucky or are they incredibly smart because they just knocked down every other city including Chicago to be closer to their underachieving level. Let's pray for the latter, because it gives some glimmer of hope.

Chade - Apparently knew the attack was coming a week ago. An inability to pull the trigger when it mattered is the reason he is in the obits. When you have the line of Canucklehead in your city, one that is known for shying away from conflict, then we could all guess where this was going.

Jade - I'm told she didn't inform anyone in her city that she was going to tag team with LV to take out Chicago which led to her Right Hand Man turning on her. That was Rupert's second turn in 2 weeks, which is a feat in and of itself.

Kimble - The cruelest cut. Pretty easy breakdown here.
With Roman and Premeir - Alive
With Stamina - Dead

New York and St. Louis - Similar to Detroit

Let's take some odds now. Because JesseJames is impulsive and moody, here are some odds of death:

SuperX - 2:1 Like Grin forgot about what your family line did to his family line.

AlabamaWorley - 10:1 Everyone likes Alabama! Except when she stares at JesseJames too long. Has the longest survival odds.

Stamina - 8:1 Proven traitor and lost one of his closest allies in Raptor. However, he did allow for Kimble to die which is definitely going to buy some good will.

Stallion - 5:1 He might get the pity vote, he might get shot in the face, this one's a gamble.

This is by no means a cry to have JesseJames teamed up on, because we're well past that. He was kept alive by Roman and his merry band of assholes, and now is so far out of reach for everyone else that it's just a matter of time before he kills everyone or we die from boredom. JesseJames is by no means a wordsmth, but he is every bit a kill yousmith. He sold out his "friends" in Roman and Katarina, imagine what he'll do to the rest of us.

This is what we wanted though. We were bored of stagnation, and we certainly don't have that anymore. One thing is for sure, none of the people we were left with seemed to have any vision or direction. Say what you will about Roman and Premeir but what they said and what they did had purpose, right or wrong. I have a feeling we will all be afloat until the next version of those two rises up.

When they died, there seemed to be a question of, "So now what?" Question answered I guess, and a lot of people paid the cost for it. There seems to be a very finite amount of people who can shoulder the incredible weight of every city's expectations. Before Roman there was TheDean, before TheDean there was Deimne, before Deimne there was Marietta, before Marietta there was Anita, and so on. It appears Chicago, Detroit, Las Vegas, nor LA had anyone with that ability to balance everything around them into a prolonged harmony. Will it be like this forever? Probably not, but for the forseeable future we are all in for a pretty horrid ride with Baby Huey at the helm.

Roman and TheDean kept things prosperous (albeit stagnant at points) for a long time, and it took us 2 weeks to tear it all down. I don't feel shame for that, but I'm not feeling very proud either. This is what we asked and fought for, and while it is not the ending the majority of us hoped for, this is what we're left with. The leaders that are here have proven incapable of making decisions that benefit the majority and that worries me. I only hope the new batch of auths that pop up as a result of all of this will shine a light into the darkness and wrest control away from the Alabamas, Jesses, and SuperXs of the world.

I can't say we're better off with a tyrant in Roman or people with no direction. I'm scared though. For the first time since Marietta retired I am scared for our future. I won't give a grand retirement speech, but I will be watching very carefully and hope for the best. To those of you I fought beside against NY and Chicago and have been misled like me, I will remember the time we changed the world... Then Atlas shrugged.

Lolz, seems like you are still trying to have everyone stir the pot still, we literally JUST had this war end and we are all VERY aware of whom is in power. It's not like we all live under a rock and when we see the death screen it means everything is all happy go lucky. I got to admit I know this to be false. Alabama is far from just following the crowd. She actually has a brain and uses it. I owe her a lot for using that brain and giving my family line a chance when no one else would. Since I am still in Detroit I'm going to assume I haven't done too badly but I'm sure she'd be a better judge of that then myself.

So, are your opinions based on the people you have listed above or are they based on their entire bloodline rolled into one based on your bloodline's collection of notes regarding their performances? Sweeney. As someone who worked for Chicago begrudgingly for several months I'm happy to report that I did get to witness plenty over my time. I never was and probably never will be a fan of Roman's but he at least kept old James at bay which a majority of the population is thankful for. If you want the info, here you are.

FACT: JesseJames was Roman's right hand.
FACT: JesseJames disappeared during the war against Roman.
FACT: JesseJames joined the families who warred Roman after Roman's death despite knowing fully he could make some heads roll. Hence he is known for his betrayal.
FACT: JesseJames once left a war room during the take down of CharlieCroker because he was upset someone "stole his kill", and couldn't keep his emotions in check to finish the war. Don't mind the fact that he had arrived late to the war and had disappeared for several hours so his kill was reassigned.
FACT: JesseJames left the hit room upset or angry on more than one occasion when someone "made fun of him". Hence he is known as a hothead prone to meltdowns.

DeadlyWeed. No, the world does not know who is in power, what is going on, who what when where why. The majority of the population merely know that people died. Big names are now in the obits. But why? Since you're certainly enlightened I ask you to please share the ins and outs. You obviously played a big part in this entire party so please you have the floor.

Clarity. This is fun? I like knowing that working hard means that I will get far and succeed. I thought with Premeir and Roman gone that was what we as a community were striving for. Leaders had started complaining weeks before those two were removed. About the lack of street activity, the lack of motivation the average mafioso feels. The barbarians took down the wolves and we were fed lies on a silver platter. "Speak your mind" they said. "We will all work together to build a world built on trust and respect" they said. "We will never again live in a world where bullying is acceptable" they said.

I am fine with losing my entire bloodline if a cause exists. The cause weeks ago was to take down some of the most vicious leadership this world has seen. Fine. My bloodline lost a high ranking individual who was flush in many attributes. The cause was good. What cause was this war for? "We don't want to lose what little footing we have gained after killing Prem and Roman, so you all must die to satisfy the niggling in our loins"? How is that fun for anyone? Was it fun that your Godfather died? Fun that your friends and family died? Fun that your mother died? Excitement I live for. Strive for. Ridiculousness I do not.

Kassandra. There is no doubt that Alabama is a strong leader. That is when she has someone to tell her what to do. Tell me honestly with your bias aside when was the last time that Alabama made a decision that impacted not only her own crew but her entire city as well? The entire mob world as well? She has never made a popular decision to sway favor to her. She has never made an unpopular decision that has put her back up against the wall and put her in dire straits with other cities as well. She has never made a decision period, outside of "which outcome is less likely to get me killed?".

JesseJames. You are absolutely right. There are times when people don't know one another and make false assumptions. You don't know me as well as you think you might know me. I'm just getting started.

Fuji: Without going into it further we're just going to have to agree to disagree. There are things you probably have no idea about and couldn't possibly know unless she decided to share it with you. I think you're only judging her based on the outside appearance which is not always accurate. Unless you can look behind closed doors and into every private conversation she has I doubt you really know everything about any of the decisions she makes.

What has my bloodline accomplished? Everything it has wanted to accomplish. As I'm sure all of the Chicago Upper Structure has them stored somewhere as well. Track down the children of Roman, Katarina, any of the other officials that were around during that time. I'm sure they would love to discuss old times considering the terms you parted on.

Past successes. They all are tied in to how we all view one another. For better or worse. Fuji: I am all too aware of how past failures and successes can follow you around. My line has the history and knowledge of all that but it still doesn't make what people say right.
