Governor realized that to help restore the Roberto Carlos Appreciation Society, there would need to be some added furnishings and amenities to the facility. Walking through the market to see if anything catches his eye, Governor came across a store

Thor's Toystore

Governor entered the building, taking a look around for anything that may be of use

Governor loves monopoly, but was never much of a comic book reader. Since the building was not suitable for field games such as basketball and football, he decided that the more basic things would be appropriate.

He took one of each of the comics, to go towards a reading area of the society, he knew that once the building was restored, there would be people lining up in droves to have an audience with the descendant of Roberto_Carlos (Consigliere), these comics should help keep those waiting entertained.

Since Governor is such a fan of board games, he added "Monopoly!" and "Scrabble" to his basket, a small recreation area for the society can never go wrong. Spelling games such as Scrabble should help the overall literacy rate, Roberto_Carlos was a man who believed in the good of the people, and people knowing how to spell is very good. Monopoly was an excellent game as well, for people who came in contact with plentiful amounts of money should know how to use it, after contributing their fair share to the society, of course.

After Governor gathered the items he intended to purchase, he approached and laid the items on the counter

Board Games:

* Monopoly

* Scrabble

Cartoon Comics:

* Superman

* Little Orphan Annie

* Buck Rogers

* Krazy Kat

* Popeye

* Dick Tracey

The total cost of the items came to the amount of $2.10, the Governor, wishing to exercise the kindness and generosity that Roberto_Carlos encourages and rewards to those who do so, gave the clerk an extra fifteen cents on top of the total, as a gift for exceptional service.

Governor then took the bag the clerk perfectly fitted the goods inside, and continued down the street. While walking past an alley, he saw a police officer arresting a man and taking him to the other end of the street. Governor went to investigate and found a discarded purse filled with what seemed to be $122 of bingo money. With no identification items to say who was the owner, Governor thought it best that the funds be liberated to the "Restoration of the Roberto Carlos Appreciation Society Fund", save for the $2.25 already spent.

With this latest addition to the redevelopment budget, Governor went on his way to see what other hidden treasures lie in waiting to be added to the Roberto_Carlos Appreciation Society.

Oppression knew the key to luring Sneaker in was crayons. She was told the best place to get them was in Detroit at Thor's Toy Store. Oppression left a letter with a friend in Chicago in case she didn't make it. There was a huge turf war at hand and Detorit was listed as Enemy Territory. She was informed she could easily be gunned down there.

Nearly immediately after arriving, Oppression caught a glimpse of one of the Godfathers of Detroit, Carl Grimes. She rounded a corner and ducked out of sight. She kept her head down and cut up the alley. Feeling slightly safer, but not much, Oppression began to weave her way to the toystore. She wondered if crayons were all she should get. Maybe Sneaker would like something else as well. She would be sure to look around. Sneaker was a kid, right? She must do other things besides color. Maybe?

Oppression took another turn and the sign for the toy store appeared in front of her.

Thor's Toy Store

Oppression kept her head down as she crossed the street and entered the store. The store was much larger than she thought it would be. She expected to find a small nondescript toy store. Pleasantly surprised, she began looking wandering through the isles.

Oppression picked out the board games. Surely Sneaker liked Monopoly and Scrabble? Yes? She decided to grab the Krazy Kat and Little Orphan Annie Comics too. She grabbed a couple spinning tops and finished off her purchases with as many crayons as she could carry. She took them to the counter.

The counter lady gave her a wary look when she saw all the crayons. Oppression shrugged it off and smiled.

How much? she asked the lady.

After beging given a total, Oppression paid for the merchandise and carried the bags into the streets of Detroit. She continued to keep her head down as she headed towards her safe house. She scoffed slightly. Something told her a safe house was far from safe. She was about to find out!

Mercury stepped away from her new businesses. She had something she must tend to. There was a child out there who was wandering the streets. Finding her and getting her back to Philly was a high priority on her list. She had been told where she should look. Since she was in Detroit, she decided to look at the one possibility here in town. She went to downtown Detroit to a toy store in the heard of the city.

It took Mercury a minute before what was wrong hit her. Where there should have been crayons, there were none. There were very few coloring books as well. She knew the child she was looking for was big on crayons. She went to the counter and spoke with the lady tending it.

Did a little girl come in here and buy all the crayons recently? she inquired.

Yes, the woman answered tentatively.

When was this? Who was she with,Mercury asked when she realized she was on the right track.

I am not sure,the woman replied. It was at least a week ago. I was not working. I just noticed the crayons were out of stock last week, she explained.

Mercury bought a few toys to give the lady some business and went back into the streets of Detroit. She was going to have to make a trip to Chicago. She knew where she would be if she were a child.

Brambles walks into what looks like an old deserted toy store. As she pushes the door open slightly she hears life inside.

"hello, are you looking to buy something? The owner isn't currently around if that's is who you're looking for.."

Brambles looks at the woman strangely "I was actually looking for a pogo stick if you have any?" Brambles looks around the store as the woman rushes out back.

"Here, is this the kind you're looking for?" Brambles smiled "YES!" She said rather loudly. "I was worried I'd might not find one. My niece has a birthday coming up and I know she's wanted one for a while. This is great, thanks."

As Brambles heads for the door, the woman calls after her. "Are you interested in.." Brambles left shaking her head before she could hear the rest.

Vitality dropped the luggage and dogs off  at the renovated Carriage house. She found a gardener and instructed him to take cae of the puppies while they were gone. With Sneaker in tow, Vitality motivated towards Thor's Toy Store. Sneaker knew the place when she saw it. She hopped out of the car and charged inside.

The lady at the counter looked horrified. She knew that child! She anticipated trouble immediately. Vitality followed in behind her and picked up a basket. When Vitality caught up with Sneaker she was bouncing on a pogo stick in the aisle. Vitality just shook her head and smiled.

Do you want that? Vitality asked her.

Sneaker kept bouncing. Yeah! I want one! she said enthusiastically.

Alright, we will buy it. Come on, lets see what else there is.

Sneaker bounced after Vitality on her new pogo stick. She was having a blast. She wondered what else she could buy. She would have to test Vitality out and see what she could get away with. She hopped off it and dragged it as she rounded the corner.

Vitality ignored Sneaker. Giving her attention would more than likely just encourage the tot. The Dolls and bears were in front of her.

Snuggles and Sniffles want Teddy Bears! Sneaker said in an all knowing tone.

How do you know what they want? vitality made the mistake of asking.

They TOLD ME! They want bears! We have to get them bears! Sneaker insisted.

No, no bears for them. We will get them proper toys later. Come on!

Awwww, Sneaker said pouting. That's not fair!

There is no such thing as not being fair to a puppy. Now come on. You said you needed more crayons. Maybe you'd like some jacks as well?

OK, Sneaker said in a resigned tone. They got the jacks, crayons, and some coloring books at took them to the counter. Sneaker recognized the lady and smirked. The cashier quickly rang them up and bagged everything but the pogo stick. They left the store and headed back to the island.

Mercury had devised a plan in her mind. She couldn't count on family. She couldn't count on anyone but herself. When her stalkers caught up with her she would send them for a swim with the fishes herself. She was pretty sure these were Philly's people not happy with her recent disappearance and reincarnation. She was beyond caring though. She needed to protect herself and Sneaker from these thugs and send a message so no one attempts to bother them again. She didn't like to get her hands dirty but was more than capable. More than capable indeed.
