My cousin thought it was a good idea to set up in Vegas.  He knew the risks, he knew his chances of survival were slim, but he didn't predict he'd be killed by someone in a crew outside Vegas.  Any regrets?  No way.  Just a shame.  I wish the shooter had the balls to set up in Vegas, rather than avenge their friend from the protection of an outside city. 

And Vegas was united after Faceman went down.  It was an outside shot.  So now, anyone with the balls to go to Vegas has to worry about offending stealth shooters from another region, the midwest perhaps.

If I'm correct in 'that', it would therefore logically follow that the deaths of Utopia and Mr. Rothstein were contributing factors in the Philly takedown?  I hope I'm not putting words into your mouth here, but I'm just going from one logical conclusion to the next based on what you're telling me.

Would say the only factor in Philly's "takedown" (can you call it a takedown when a city simply defends itself?) was Baba shooting at Bunny and then Caveman killing her.

I wholeheartedly support what we decided in the Council when it comes to Vegas.

I have offered no outside assistance to anyone. I did not offer Arnold or Utopia a dime, a bodyguard, or a post to lean on. I let them take up to the two people they wanted, and they left. Once they set up in Vegas, they became apart of the show, and no longer had my protection or help.

In subsequent times, I have been asked by Sgt_Slaughter for help a few times, which I politely declined and explained to him that Vegas was his ball park, and he was on his own. As was agreed by the Council.

For you to come out here and logically assume that we took down Caveman & Baba as a revenge for killing the two EX Philly members, is over the top. That is in no way, shape, or form close to the truth. We took them out because they were going to shoot first and I have proof of that.

Please, I do love to listen to you and enjoy how you articulate yourself, but please....don't go spreading rumors.

Lotta, please don't misunderstand me. I believ I said at the time that I commened your action (if I didn't, please forgive my evident early onset dimentia). It is pretty clear that any city, or any leader, would have done the same in your position.

It wasn't me that logically assumed you took down Caveman & Baba for reasons other than what you personally stated. Indeed, from the very mouths of the deceased, I know this to be absolutely true anyway. Ultimately, it was the comments from your guy Mr. Hunt that seemed to suggest there was an alterior motive. 

He came out with the comment 'Try killing off the competition clearly isn't the way to go. Only gets you shot by an outside assailant.' The only public documentation of someone having killed off Vegas competition then being killed by an outside assailant was in the case of Caveman & Baba (even though we know the actual reason was not this). Therefore, I put it to you that it was your own man who initially made that inference, and myself that elaborated on it only in an effort to ascertain if I was actually understanding his words correctly.

Either way, I'm sorry for any offence caused - as I say, I have no doubts whatsoever regarding the take down; I know your reasons to be true, and even if I didn't, it is not my place to question them.

Considering I am but a Wise Guy, I am somewhat limited into what information I am privvy too. There has been no public confirmation who Vasily was killed by, nor has there been any obvious indication that someone has been punished for his unlawful death. Therefore, the only instance of an 'outsider' killing a member of the Vegas hierarchy is the one I've highlighted. Again, if I'm mistaken then I apologise - but I must further reiterate my point that it initially seemed to be Mr. Hunt making the inference, and I only expanded in an "effort to ascertain if I was actually understanding his words correctly". As yet, he has not replied - thought you have gone a good distance in clearing the matter up. Thank you!
