Halligen, football is the No.1 sport in the world, always has been and always will be. I do not know of many countries (if any) that have baseball, basketball or American football as a major sport. |

Brits can make sweeping stereotypical comments too Marmoset, doesn't make them any more true. Trying to turn a discussion about sports into a thinly veiled claim regarding military power is quite immature really. |

| seriously americans could care less about this...i bet you 70+% dont even know its going on...Shit I didnt and I watch sports nonstop, sports center every morning...two different cultures my friends. We hate soccer, yall hate FOOTBALL. And I believe either side could care less...right? Good! | |

Well lol at bringing back a year old thread... but, anywho... Soccer and Baseball both suck. So, no need to fight about which is better, they are both boring in their own merit. One goes back and forth for an hour with little to no scoring. The other is based on hitting a ball with a stick for hours. Both are fun to play but, in my own opinion... boring as hell to watch. |

Football is the worlds greatest sport. Baseball is the worlds greatest game. Boxing is the worlds greatest entertainment. Soccer...sucks! Seriously though I LOVE sports and I can barely tolerate soccer. I can watch a lil futbol during the World Cup and see the best of the best play for their national pride, but aside from catching team USA or Brazil play once every 4 years soccer doesnt even exist to me. Id rather watch the hooligans and assholes go apeshit in the stands and act like savages than watch an entire match. Sitting through a soccer match can be absolute torture. |

| I feel ya bk sitting through a game is like torture, I had to go to work onetime after a game I was at and the whole time I was like man I cant wait for work lol...and I HATE my job...that was when I was just hired and yeah...soccer is not for us. | |
