Anyone been watching the series?

I myself thought it was a good show here and there but only seen it a few times so not sure if my opinion would count in this case.

It's a criminal drama HBO mini series that starred James Gandolfini.

not mini, it spanned several seasons worth.

The show kicked ass.  Well everything but the finale.  WTF was that about?

TBH I didnt want the show to end. The ended could have been better.

I disagree, I think it ended at the right time. I haven't watched the show since the finale aired and if I remember correctly everything, storylines and the like, were basically coming to a close. I believe Philly was the last big rival city and they were taken care of.

The ending could have been more clear but there were clues in there that if you watched from season one that showed tony died

there were a few people in there that would have killed tony the trucker from season four and there were 2 others

also 3 attempts on tonys life 2 previous this the third being sucessful and if you noticed his daughter fails twice while parking and the third is sucessful

but yes it ended good philly wasnt the last rival city phill leotardo was the rival in New york and he was ened but it was the right time to end the series

There used to be rumors about a Sopranos movie. I'm not hearing them anymore, though, sadly. It's amazing the quality of shows that HBO produces though.

i am with tony-scorsese on that, could of kept it going like they should of with sliders(stupid sci fi channel) but sadly seemed a rushed ending.  The delicate way some things were dealt with and bargaining seemed a lot more realistic and knowing no matter who you were you screwed up even your own would remove you

I was just jesting Africanus (RIP), I loved The Sopranos. Just found it amusing someone asked if we'd been watching a show that finished some time ago.

HBO Makes Great Quality shows just look at The Wire

I agree 8-Ball the wire is another good show.

I watched this show long after it had gone off the air. It’s pretty fucking good - like a top 3 for me.
