Early this evening, a thug by the name of redruM approached the Upper Structure of Chicago looking to work for one of the families. Between him approaching Chicago, and Chicago asking him the usual questions, he had found a home with Batman in Detroit. Without prompting, he then messaged Chicago saying:

"i thought chicago was for me but my people let me know what you guys are about just know your not that strong and we can and will take u if we need to"

This was put down as idle shit stirring. Batman was approached and redruM was dropped from The Dark Knights and the matter was considered over. Until redruM entered the streets talking about all sorts of plots by Batman and BostonGeorgeJung to attack Chicago. Again, this was put down to idle shit stirring. Something that could be solved with a quick chat in the coffee shops.

However, redruM just did not shut up and continued to talk about his 'close friendship' with Batman. Alongside the street rambling, he started to send messages to the upper structure of Chicago. One of the pieces of information included private information about some compensation paid by Batman during an argument over a mafioso who bought out of Chicago to join The Dark Knights without permission. This led us to take the street threads seriously.

"i was there when he had to send you guys money and then i asked him and he said because its a mtter of time before he can take at least one of you down"

This is not information that should be shared lightly and our belief was that if redruM was privvy to this information, it was entirely plausible that he was privvy to other information too, and this his words were no idle chatter. We considered the threat from Batman to be viable enough to act.

We did not come to this evening’s decision lightly, and with tonight’s threat, coupled with the feeling that Batman was actively soliciting members from Chicago and encouraging them to leave, we felt it was necessary to remove him.

Conflict is not something that benefits the community, and it is certainly never a first choice to remove such a new auth; but my duty is to safeguard my city first and foremost.

Rest in peace Batman & all those that passed today. God rest their souls.

Moving on someone's word who is not a known entity is always going to be a hugely difficult decision. For every hundred nobodies that come screaming to the streets about what they know, one will be telling the truth and 99 should be wearing diapers on their face because the shit is just pouring from their mouth.

In this instance, it was clearly the former. redruM knew information which was clearly private, and there's only one way he could've got it. That in itself is clearly not the issue here, what is relevant is that when he started making noises about Batman attacking Chicago, it was no longer the ramblings of some happy Jack, it was a warning coming from someone who'd proved that he'd seen the inside of the batcave, so to speak.

Monet did what was necessary to preserve her own, and ultimately that is the way of life in our thing.

On the surface this looked like random shit stirring, but when certain information came to light that was only heard behind closed doors she had to take this apparent threat more seriously, resulting in such action.

At the end of the day a leaders responsibility is to preserve their own and she took the action she felt necessarily to protect the lives of her family and that is a commendable action in any leader.

 This statement is unfortunately untrue, my father had the personal blessing from Don Monet herself. After a miscommunication between the ThirdSun and Batman another Chicago member was given the permission to leave on there own terms in DeigoDelgado.

There was no communication between myself & Batman. Who am I to authorize somebody to leave a family? Batman should've contacted Slab and made the agreement in the correct fashion. Instead his right hand man took it upon himself to instruct one of our family members to leave without Slab's blessing and join up in another city/family. This is widely frowned upon in this thing of ours. At the same time, Batman was actively recruiting Chicago members and trying to turn their loyalties elsewhere. This is a huge violation of the code we all agree to live by. What is done is done and no banter will revive the dead. Let all those afflicted by tonight's actions rest in peace and may their sons walk in a different light. Nothing left to say on the matter.

ThirdSun patiently awaits the next bus back to Chicago.

Lol wow looks like ThirdSun did a great job planning this out. How easy it must of been for him to do since he knew all of the information you have said. You claim you never once spoken to me that day but yet you represented your leader and PM'd me on IRC handling his buisness.
