Folks, Chicago has turned against it's proudest son. For years, the Burgerhouse name has been synonymous with mob activity in the city, much like fangs, bats, and blood (because we're vampires). And so it came as a great shock to me when big brent, my long-time boss and close ally, inexplicably decided to attempt to drive a stake through my heart while I slept. If that wasn't shocking enough, he deliberately spared me (surely?) and instead chose the path of ritual humiliation, sending me reeling back to gangsterdom from my lofty heights of Madeness.

Just earlier today my #1 associate BillCorsica was espousing the virtues of communication, respect and paying your taxes, values I had taught him, and values taught to me by my mentor brent, principles we stood strong by despite FrankCastiglia attempting to derail the conversation several times with inane babbling. But today, the only things brent has taught me are betrayal, heartbreak and disappointment. 

I stood by brent despite him killing all of my associates.

I stood by brent despite everyone telling me not to.

I stood by brent despite Shiki- and Arianna being super uncomfortable and acting like cats and licking each other in public.

I stood by brent despite it all.

But today I say goodbye, brent. 

Buck, if you see Shiki-  can you please send them to my street corner?

Very sorry to see that you and brent have had a temporary lapse in communication.

Unfortunately, brent couldn't even be bothered to sit down for a chat or a telegram with old Buck before he tried to shuffle his own Made Man off this mortal coil. I hope Shiki- treats you better.

If your son inherites anything from you, please let it be your street presence. I for one, will be upset to see you go. Even though I never fully engaged with you out here. I did admire and listen from up the road.  Let's hope  your tounge is hereditary.

The position of Left Hand Man in Chicago is quickly proving to be a death sentence. First SixPoundSoulCals goes from beloved Left Hand Man and ace recruiter to the grave, and now BuckBurgerHouse meets the same fate.

brent is the TheBeast of this generation. Missing on those far below him in rank, and being housed in Chicago to boot.

Is the BurgerHouse fortune perhaps nothing more than an 80 million dollar loan as well?

This has gotten WAAAAAY out of hand. Vampires are turning against each other. Isn't there some sort of code you all live by that forbids that sort of incestuous cannibalism?

Is it too late for a sitdown? I find it hard to believe Brent would really want to deplete his coven and leave it completely powerless, which is essentially what he has already done.

I would like to point out that 7 Chicago associates have been ruthlessly murdered in the time between brent attempting to kill me and now. This is a very sad state of affairs. I thought vampires stuck together. Shiki-, how can you sign off on this bloodbath and still sleep at night?

I'm sorry. Shiki- is a vampire cat, they sleep during the DAY, not the NIGHT. I guess that's why I never really fit in here. 

Well it has been a while but it seems that the outraged people are now employing this practice themselves, or done by people they support.

Huzzah for Cl's getting out of city orders to kill their members who have done nothing but remain loyal and given multiple generations of wealth to be dropped, demoted and killed

I will contact the upper Order of Clan Burgerhouse to investigate these occurrences, but I am going to need some information first. My own investigation has been fruitless. I have seen no evidence of an actual Burgerhousing. If I am wrong, please correct me.

The term "Burgerhouse" is not one to be used lightly, nor is "reverse-Burgerhouse". It's a slap in the face to the martyrs and warriors who earned the distinction and the affiliation with Clan Burgerhouse through their own indifference and hostility towards others. When you start twisting the meaning to something that becomes, more or less, synonymous with hurt feelings, you are implicitly claiming that St. Otis Burgerhouse the Martyr was nothing more than a salty lad, rather than a Joan-of-Arc type figure.  It's a deeply troubling and implausible perspective. I sincerely hope this is not the beginning of a new trend where bitter mobsters start crying "Burgerhouse!" at the drop of a hat. I will not allow our history to be tainted as such.

TextBasedMafiaRPGMan will be assigned to this investigation. God help those who don't comply.

Precise definitions are important, and we cannot have some upstart attempting to redefine well-established Mafia Lingo to mean something completely different, to perform a systematic immolation of burgerhousing. I'm with Levon on this, there is only one Mafia Etymologist who can deliver us from the clutches of UNCERTAINTY, IGNORANCE and DESPAIR, and that is TextBasedMafiaRPGMan.

A detailed report MUST follow or we are sure to face another dark age of the mafia, like that time the heads of the six cities collectively decided that all serious inter-city issues were to be settled through hotdog eating contests.
