On seeing a crowd gathering in the street, Romeo headed that way to see if it was Fozzie doing another rendition of "My Way" or Farmer_Barleymow doing a demonstration of on plowing.

On arrival he saw the one and only Mr Jack Pepper talking about his move to Hollywood

Mr Pepper our lines go back a fair while and I was excited when I heard that you would be donning a bold suit. Now that you are heading up a city I am even more excited on what will become of LA. You are, if it is possible, one of the true gents in our world.

Marston arrived to the celebrations slightly late as usual, but his steed was slow in comparison to the wheeled vehicles people were using more and more these days. He dismounted with a slight stumble, possibly due to a drink fuelled casino session he had attended earlier in the day, and headed over to the gathering. He arrived in time to catch the end of Jack's speech, and the announcement of the bar being open...

"HERE, HERE!!" He roared! Thrusting his hipflask into the air triumphantly, before taking an almighty gulp from it...

Inside, amid the celebrations, he tracks down tnaryT and Jack, and heads over to express his congratulations...

"Sirs! Congratulations on the move!!" He says, thrusting drinks into their already encumbered hands. "This is a great day for the city of Los Angeles, and as you can see by the large crowd here, the people are delighted to see you get the opportunity to run your own city... I cannot see into the future, but my intuition predicts that greatness and prosperity await us in this city."

He raises a very large glass, containing a very potent alcoholic substance into the air once again…

"TO JACK PEPPER, TO TYRANT… TO LOS ANGELES!!"

Marston drains the contents of the glass in one more giant gulp, and that is the last he remembers of that particular night…

With a martini in one hand and a cigarette in the other Jordan mingled around the party. From chats about recent business to conversations about the good old days Jordan smiled, listened what others had to say, put her two cents in then moved on to the next group of mobsters. When she noticed JackPepper go to the bar for a drink she followed him.

Great party, Jack. It’s good to see the mafia back in control of Los Angeles. I’m glad we had the opportunity to work together on the east coast. You and your family will be missed. Congratulations on the big move and good luck here in sunny California.

After more mingling, drinking and talking Jordan spotted tnaryT in the party. She approached him and greeted him with a smile.

Congratulations on your auth. I enjoyed working with you in New York and the few chats we had about business. I’m sure with your determination you’ll do many great things in Los Angeles.

Back at the bar Jordan ordered another martini and wondered if Xiphos left already to find a floozy for the night. From coast to coast he was a womanizer.

Despite still being just an associate in the New York crime family assigned to Jordan, Paulie managed to enter the celebration. Walking around with a glass of whiskey in his hand, wearing the best suit he had in his wardrobe, he managed to approach Jack Pepper and tnaryT and nodded in respect.

I ain't no good speaker but I wish to congratulate you. I respect you a lot, you know. I'm Paulie, Paulie Cassante. I don't think you've heard of me.

After he finished talking to the two bosses, he went to the bar where he saw Jordan, his crew leader and decided to speak to her for the first time.

Hey, signora Jordan. It's a great honour to finally meet you. I'm Paulie, I work for Mercury.

WhereWasI notices a crowd and listens in,

Congratulations Mr. Pepper, I've heard good things from my horribly inefficient CL and his main hands. I can't tell if that means you'll do mediocre things or great things, but either way good luck in your endeavors.

Listening to the announcement, Aeolus cheers and follows the crowd into the bar. The place is full of excited mafioso. As JackPepper and tnaryT make their way to a table, Aeolus walks over to the bar and orders three drinks. Holding one in his mouth and carrying the others, he brings them to the table. After setting them down in front of the others, he raises his glass in the air.

Congratulations guys. It's been a pleasure working with you two in New York. Jack, our bloodlines have crossed paths in the past and just like before, you have worked extremely hard each day. You are a dedicated individual and this opportunity is well deserved. Also, there have been nothing but great things said about you, tnaryT. I have no doubts that you will make Jack proud.

Aeo taps his drink with the other glasses.

This is the beginning of a beautiful future. The best of luck to the both of ya.

Red claps politely and throws his cigar into the sewer before stepping up.

Congrats, Jack! I don't believe we have ever met personally, but I know our ancestors have, and I know they'd agree with me when I say this is an excellent move! For far too long the streets of Los Angeles have been barren. I've already made it a point to get out there and open a business, something I'd been waiting to do until the city was occupied. Best of luck in your ventures, sir, we're all looking forward to see your progress.

It's always a challenge to revitalise an area, rebuilding business districts, creating employment and getting the right people in the right place but your lineage offers the city a wealth of experience to hit the floor running.  I wish you the best of luck and look forward to our future business between our cities.
