Skorpeon was exhausted from the battle that took place between both Chicago families today. It was a very long and drawn out battle that cut him down by the numbers. After the dust settled Skorpeon knew he would have to present himself in the street, so he started to make his way there, before getting some rest. When he got to the crowd he got out of his car and approached everyone. He was still trying to force a smile even after the draining event. Skorpeon made his way to the front of everyone where he turned to face the crowd.

“I would like to explain the events that happened between Chicago today. I would like to first begin with saying that I hope all the people that lost their life during this war find peace. We lost some great people in this fight and that is the worse part about it all. Everyone who died, did it for their family, and that deserves respect. It hurts myself to have to turn my gun on some people I have called friends and I will still consider them my friend. I am not holding grudges and I understand that what happen is business and that is all it is.

I have came here however to explain why this happened. I was more then willing to work with Chris_Flannery in both of us making comfort in Chicago. We had have previous discussions and there was nothing negative in any of it. Then Chris heard false rumors about my intentions with Chicago and attacked my family. When I recieved word of Chris' actions, I immediately sprung into action to protect my family at all costs.

After a long and hard day the war is finally over and I did what I could to save my family. Now that this war is over we will be headed back into the right direction for the city of Chicago. “

Skorpeon's eyes became heavy as he continued to speak. He pointed to Cory-Chase as he began again.

“Cory-Chase and I will work together to rebuild this city and get it back to where it was. I was hoping for that in the beginning but some things change and you always tend to have a few bumps in the road. We will do our best to get this city with the energy that we know it can have. I want everyone who wishes to chase this dream then to contact Cory or myself. Now that this is behind us lets try to go for the best that we can possibly be. With all that said, I am sorry that the events that taken place had to happen. Now is the time to focus on getting Chicago back to the city I know it can be.”

He nodded to the crowd and smiled again as he waited for any comments someone might have had.

Red rubs the sleep from his eyes and breaks the fingers of an unfortunate pickpocketer who'd attempted to steal from him without glancing down. He smiled, despite his exhaustion, at the group of gangsters who saw this act and decided to stop following him. Walking up to Skorpeon he shakes his hand thoroughly before smiling again. Though he was not a part of Chicago, nor a part of the war, Red was still glad his dear friend had made it through with only minor losses.

Well well my friend, you certainly do know how to keep things interesting eh? It's a shame that lies and rumors started an internal feud, corrupting what I'm sure would've been a very successful dual crewed Chicago. Alas, Chris did what he thought was right and none of us can say we wouldn't have done the same if we thought our families were in danger. You handled this carefully, methodically, and in the end you're the one standing. Bravo mate, the world awaits to see what you've got in store for the future of Chicago. As always, you know where to find me.

Red stubs his cigar and sits on the corner next to Skorpeon, admiring the sunset.

SpaceCowboy makes his way towards Skorpeon, stepping over dead corpses and kicking some out of the way.Every once in awhile noticing friends. Space stops and puts his hat on his chest to say a small prayer and continues to walk until meeting Skorpeon.

Against all odds you have survived the war to tell about it. You have earned a lot of respect, not only from me but most likely from a lot of others. You fought a battle you were thrown into, to save yourself and your family.  You have balls sir and I look forward to seeing you and your family rebuild and pick up the pieces from last nights events.

Cory stood with Skorpeon as he spoke and agreed. Cory minded to himself and smoked on a cigarette. Skorpeon already said everything that needed to be said. He watched as people said their peace whether it was positive or negative. He had to grin at something someone screamed out.

" Your statement means nothing. it is all over now. The details of everything has just been stated by Skorpeon. Think Chris didn't throw a few low blows? Wrong. Those are expected to happen in a war. Family business is nobody's business and there are reasons everything stay with families. All the details you need to be noted with are already said."

Skorp turned around and noded to Skorpeon. He finished smoking his cigarette and threw it to the ground.

"You put up a great for yourself Skorp.You did what you had to for your family. I know we will do what we can to get the city of Chicago thriving with life again. Back to looking at the future and not the past."

Simba pounces around a bit. Looking at people in the eyes he begins to speak


Whats done is done. Chicago has had more bloodshed once again and many good people died. My father was one of them. He fought bravely and died with honor. I personally will not come here to take that away from him by insulting people.

Many people laid their lives in this war and many a good people died. War is never a happing ending.

It as all quite tragic. From an outsiders perspective.

Someone has declared war on a person sent to help them build a city. How does that work really? How could there have been any kind of support for that sort of behavior?

Rumours or no rumours I cannot believe that he saw you as any kind of threat that had to be eliminated immediately. He could have waited a week, properly planned it and then done it. It's quite obvious someone has gotten in to his head. Perhaps they are still around spreading lies?

With your protection level nothing but a cannon was going to shoot you down or sound tactical planning and execution. Both of which seem to have been clearing lacking.

Either way. You fought the fight the only way you could. By taking selective shots and asking for help. You played it incredibly well and I sincerely hope you the best of luck with Chicago.

My father died in this war, he'd fought on Chris Flannery's side before he was killed. I will hold no grudges towards anyone however, and I congratulate Skorpeon for fighting for his crew against all odds, and eventually winning. Great job, sir, you've earned my respect.

One thing I have noticed and I have journals of is that your bloodline is quite apt at surviving these internal conflicts. A lesson to anyone wishing to take you on in an internal dispute is your blood line is better than evens to win.

Wraith sighed and closed his eyes for a minute. War and death were not new concepts in the least for anyone who had walked the streets of America for a certain period of time. After offering a silent prayer for the departed, he stood with the small crowd of people who had gathered around Skorpeon, and put in his words, for what they were worth.

Congratulations, Skorpeon, for surviving what must have been a difficult conflict. Protecting your crew was the only thing to do, when faced with a situation like that. May Chicago now grow with peace and security, without any more bloodshed on its streets.

She over hears someone speaking in the streets, and stops because the topic catches her interest. She pushes her way throught the crowd, paying no attention the the people she bumps into.

Skorpeon my dear, this is a great speech, but you are not a very good storyteller. Only the best storytellers be sure to include all the details. You failed to mention how you won the war. You kind of make it seem as you did it all yourself, which all involved know is inaccurate. Im glad to help fill in at least a few minor details. Like the one about paying people to do your job for you. You cant really claim a victory for yourself when other families had to do your job, because you cant manage to hit a target if its standing right in front of you.

We will never know the other side of the story, not that it matters now. At least we fought for ourselves and didnt go crying for help because of an incompetent gun. But whats done is done is done. Whether or not outside help was hired is beside the point, when your life is on the line you'll do whatever it takes to come out alive. I wont talk about reasons why war startedMany good people lost their lives may god rest their souls but Skorpeon fought till last moment and won against all odds, no matter if you were on his side, chris or neutral i think you will agree with me that he deserved chance to lead Chicago. Personally i will give my best to help him in his intentions.

Tumor couldnt help but overhear some of the conversations taking place about the subject. At first he decided it was best to just bite his tounge and keep listening, but some people just need to get a few things clear. Deciding to give his two cents Tumor removes his hat before he begins speaking.

Firstly I would just like to put out there I was against this war whole heartdly, I believe the two could of done great things together in help building CHI into something they could have called their own. Chris for whatever the reason may be felt that his family is in danger, and did what any other leader would do in that situation. Protect your crew at all costs. So he tried to make a move, but obviously things didnt play out too his expectations.

While some of you respect Skorp for it and others may loathe him, The question I have for you is, do you think he cares? I'll answer for you, no he doesn't. He did what he had to do in order to keep himself and few crew members alive. If you're saying you would have done things differently if you were in his shoes then its one of two options. A you're too stuborn to hire help. or B you're an idiot.

You may see that as being an idiot, but there are many here who would see that as being a defining moment in someones lifetime. Skorpean was Insanely Well Protected at the start of this civil war if my memory serves me well. So that put him in a good position to start with as it would have been difficult for Chris to get past his protection. Not impossible but difficult, from what I know which I'll admit is very little Chris did not receive outside help.

Skorpean however did and well what does that say about him, in fact no. What does that say about those who were hired to help him, does it make them any better than the whores some men visit when their wives aren't aware?

There is also an accusation that Chris had more shooters then he had family. You don't see us out there running our mouths about that. It doesn't matter actually because it's just the way it is. So who is to say that he did or did not have outside help? On either side? No one.

Everyone will have their own opinion on what happened but there is a lot of things that went to it and a lot of questions. Skorpeon didn't moan and pout because he was getting attacked, instead he fought for his and his family's lives. Everyone in that situation would do that same. Nothing needs to be questioned.. It was a fight that Chris thought was nessecary and Skorpeon fought back and won. Write it down with the long history that goes with this place and move forwards. That is about all we can hope for and it will be our goal. We don't live in the past and it is sad that some people feel we should. Why? Living in the past is a benefit for no one."

To be honest Cory I listened to what TheCancerousTumour said and instead of seeing just 2 options I saw a third, was it wrong of me to voice that. Maybe it was, but well these streets aren't just here to pat people on the back or follow the crowd like a lost dog. They are here so that all of us can come and share something about what we think.

As for asking me whether my family was in trouble, well yeah I would. I may have gone about things a little differently, hell it might not have gone my way if I had. But that's just the way I would have done it. Not saying it's the right way, but it would be my way.

I actually have no opinion on what happened, there were two crewleader put into Chicago, now there is one. Life goes on, Chicago is a city that has a great history, it has seen some phenomenal times, hopefully it will see them again.
