Trolley boy at Sainsbury’s. One evening (which I hated) and Sunday all day at 1.5x pay. Basically tidied up the trolleys in the car park. Used to play a game with the other trolley boy where we ate whatever we found left in the bottom of trolleys. Garlic cloves were always the worst! |

| My first job... Hmm does Babysitting and newspaper delivery even count? First actual paycheck job was working with a temp agency that sent me to various companies needing staff for the day, week or month while I attended college. A fine line of joggling my schedule. But it helped me discover how employment worked. Until one day they had nothing on the wall. Then I asked the boss and he said kid I thought you worked for more than one temp agency. I was like no I thought I should only have one job. Then I heard the old line. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Walking out the door I thought about what he could do with his basket and moved on to better things. | |
