The fact of the matter is players have gone elsewhere and the stats show it. Activity is down, playing hours are down, player retention is down, and you’re sitting here trying to say everything is fine?

Welp, I’m not gonna sit here and list the various games people are playing instead. If you wanna have that discussion, find a willing partner. I’m merely pointing out to the people that have created the situation that nobody is riding in to the rescue. You refused to share the sandbox, now you have it to yourselves.

My opinion? That’s probably a bit premature. Instead, remove the toxic elements who have fucking admitted THEY DRIVE PLAYERS AWAY, and allow growth through not making every player feel like a fucking leper.

Imagine being the problem, and then saying there is not a problem. These people do not care to fix the problems because that means they would have to admit they are the problem. There are many instances in the forums where the likes of Spike and JTG have said that the goal is to get the people they dont like to use up all their assets and then leave the game forever, and all you little ducklings who follow behind them blindly, are an even bigger problem. You could all do something about it, instead, you would rather watch the place fall apart and burn, and then pretend like you are the ones trying to put out the fire. Striphe constantly comes out to these threads and adds little to nothing to the conversations, just tries to ride his high horse into the sunset claiming to be a great godfather, all while having done absolutely nothing but lick a few boots and stand on the sidelines to get a meaningless promotion in a dying world.

What is even being protested? The latest batch of people who don't want to play anymore already stopped playing on March 31st with that newest shitty update, everyone else is friends of whoever is in power or just wants to click.

Heres how simple it is, you have 2 choices when is  regime you don't like.

1. fight back, for which you need a group.

Your problems is people love to leak, the time a group have to rank is often too short and the capabiity has to match the ambition.

2. walk away

You just become even more unhappy and bitter when frustrated with a  game and knowing you can't make a damn difference.   With so many credits etc in the game, many leaders won't miss your money.    I was talking with someone yesterday who had over 5000 who actively sells them, and remember the old high level bets of sticks, zlatan etc in the past.


Walking out does nothing really as if the boss never cared about you before, is just like saying,, spotted a troublemaker off for 3 days.lol  and thats easily 90 kills potentially missed out on if chasing ia's and rogues

Actually Estha that ability to fight back was closed when Izzy made a change removing something that had been around for a long time and became not only part of the game but part of strategies and war along with rogues and power taking in the past.

Closing that hole ensured that they got everybody back to Godfather with no capability to be stopped, on top of that they have been given clear priviledge to kill anybody they want whenever they want, a priviledge that many powers before them did not get as they were actually warned against bloodlining people to such a degree as it would harm the ability of the game to make money especially when those targeted were spenders.

There is no way to fight back and if you think there is then you are day dreaming and wasting a lot of time on a game that honestly doesn't give a fuck about your playability nor your ability to enjoy the game itself.

Walking away is the only option here, we quit many things in life, many hobbies you drop because you no longer find them fun or maybe you grow out of them, this is no different, most of us have been playing this game for 8+ years some way more than that, at some point you just grow out of it and move on and if this game no longer satisfies the reasons you had for playing it then yes it is time to move on.

I really wanted to post "Shut up Severe, you are wrong" but after looking at my character history I tend to agree I may have grown out of this place. Maybe it is time to move on.

I am not sure if anyone has the actual data but overlaying user activity Vs which people were keeping their boot on the neck of the populace / running the place would make for some very enlightening viewing over the last few years. 

Right Striphe, this is coming from a man who consistently loses his HQ due to inactivity and asshattery.

Nothing you have to say adds any value, AT ALL.  It is just a bunch of words strung together (pretty incoherently I might add) so that when someone challenges you about activity you can say, "No, look, I posted here, and here.".

Honestly, change the record, Squishy went as far as to admit that the reason advertising has been turned off is because of the actions of the CURRENT REGIME, this can be found in the thread "Is the game dead", I suggest you take a look.  Why is he going to waste his money when you lot just slaughter anyone who doesn't sit in your little "lets gobble each other off" clique.
