I really feel that something crucial is being missed here. La Casa Rossa was a family, and a tight one at that. Corbin did not "send us all of to slaughter" nor act like an irresponsible leader. Not in my eyes, and clearly not in the eyes of any of the other sons and daughters of members of the family. My mother was talking to other members of Philadelphia that night and had the cities participation called early doors. The fact is that La Casa Rossa expected to join in, and WANTED to join in. They were once part of New Orleans, some of  had close friends there, and some just never forgot where they came from. As TM has already pointed out, even, it was a family decision to join in the war, not Corbin "jumping on a bandwagon". Lambs going to slaughter don't exactly request to go to slaughter..unlike La Casa Rossa, who requested to fight.

Sammy, in fact my facts are just that PURE fact, I have based NOTHING in my statements from biased opinion, if I had, there would be a hundred more things I would be saying...and as for your misspeaking...it was said more than just once already, I was simply trying to correct your seemingly well thought statement, and make it a little more credible.

Now, looking at all of this, I have based my argument around it, and none of this is biased one sided opinion...had it been a biased opinion of me just being buthurt about my father dieing, then I would have flat out said "It was the alliance, they were a bunch of bloodthirsty animals that didn't want philly to live on for fear that it would organize another fight with them before they could completely recover from their war with N.O. so they waited will 95% of the city slept and started trying to soften their numbers"...now THAT is a biased opinion based on nothing...but NOWHERE was anything like that said now was it?

I logged on to see the obits and was shocked to say the least. I asked Rizzle_Kicks what had happened. He told me that there was a war going on and as of yet, Philadelphia were not involved. We then discussed what the hell we were going to do (as we knew that Stamina and New Orleans were allies of us and Corbin). We decided that we would not participate unless Corbin said otherwise. Corbin logged on and announced straight away that we were at war, and to prepare to take shots, pro shots etc etc.

So, Marston, I hope this explains the reason for the gap between myself and Rizzle being on line and Philadelphia staying neutral, to Corbin logging on and declaring that we were at war. There was no, to coin the term, 'jumping on the bandwagon', and even if there was a slight hint of Philadelphia merely going on the winning side, we would have joined your alliance, not the losing side.

Incidently, I have to say that (albeit not through Marstons original post, but the replies it's getting) this discussion is starting to get frivolous and on the outside looking in, just looks like point scoring. So I implore people to stop throwing handbags around, put the claws back in your pockets and let this topic rest as it is getting nowhere fast.

Honestly mate, you're STILL defending a point that I cared nothing about, the point I brought up in the very beginning is the only one that concerned me, that was simply that Marston made his post, with inaccurate facts in it that slandered the otherwise good name of my father's now deceased boss, may he rest in peace. That was it, then I was met with arguments that drug out to all of this, which has nothing to do with my original point, as I already admitted, and will again, in case you were unable to see it the first time. Philly may have been pre-emptive in their jumping at the allied cities for the deaths and attempted murder. That could very well be true, but that point aside, we wanted to remain neutral, because we believed Stamina more than capable of handling it. We agreed later to help Stamina 1. Because of a long standing, loyal friendship between our cities, and 2. because with every city save us and one other, at the time, involved in the war, and ALL of them allied against N.O. our retaliating against ANY of the cities for the attacks would have resulted in us fighting them all regardless. So if we MUST keep deferring to intentions of Philly joining the fight, whether right or wrong in whoever's eyes, then yes, they were much like that.

Loyalty to our friends, and a simple need to protect what was ours. Any man worth his salt, put into Corbin's spot at the time, shown what was presented to him, would have made the very same move. Rather than risk losing more members of his family before even identifying the attacker, then waiting for something to be done, while another member or two gets shot...Philly took the initiative in a lose lose situation.

Neon approached and was bouncing along down the sidewalk as she did. Yet, her eyes cringed and her mouth dropped as she heard all this OOCitis coming from the mouths of people. Throwing her hands up into the air she couldn't believe that people had gone so mad that they were now suffering from this!

"Oh dear, oh dear! You poor thing, The_Marine! You must see a doctor quickly! Your case of OOCitis is getting worse by the seconds!"

She quickly pointed over to the nearest doctor's office.

"That way! You must hurry! Especially, since you have no idea what you are talking about!"

Mr. Honeydew I do agree that this seems to be getting a bit frivolous but I thank you for your honest recount of the situation. As I had mentioned previously in the discussion the gap between the start of the war and Philadelphia's entrance in the war was a result of JackPepper contacting Rizzle_Kicks and Rizzle deciding to stay neutral until Corbin's arrival. You have adequately confirmed that and I feel no need to carry this conversation any further. I'm sure Corbin's family will thank you as well. After all, while I disagree with his decision to not put his city first, I do admire his loyalty to the man that authed him and I refuse to believe that he was as stupid as The_Marine is making him out to be.

Well, a lot of people had their saying about their views on what should have happend and what not.
This initial speech got a bit carried away by only one detail of the entire war i believe.

I agree man, this does need to rest. I came with intention of making a simple point. Although my point may have been valid, I was wound up and went off the handle a bit with my choice of words. If I'd held back a little I'm sure I could have put the point across with more considered language.

I understand your feeling and the desire to defend the names and actions of fallen loved ones. There's no faulting anyone for that. No hard feelings man.

Every relative of a family member that fell, should be proud of their mothers and fathers. It was a bloody war, regardless of the root of it. The War was fought strongly by all families, with many casualties on all sides. There would be no history if everything were peachy keen. To die is to teach, to live is to learn.

KissTheSky listens intently as the man explains his own personal perspective on the war. It was always nice to hear others take on situations. She tried to listen to all the comments made, but soon they all began to run together, actually getting off the point that this was an explanation from one person's perspective, not ever being called fact.
