I am sorry that it had to be this way Dixxon. You truly never wanna beat up your old boss... Ah hell, Who am I kidding, after the roast beef betrayal, and all the things that happened in that orphanage, nothing has ever felt better then knocking you clean out in the ring for everyone to watch. |

"Funny thing, Spicoli, old bosses teach you how to hit back. After roast beef lies and orphanage scars, the ring felt honest. Dixxon walked away with his head held up high knowing he left it all out there. Dixxon was a man and when he fell, he always got back up in the end. |

Coming out of the darkness, still covered in fresh blood from his most recent victim and donning the banner 'This aint elder abuse!' Tussyy comes to the forefront. Looking around he noted that Comrade TonyTheTailor is getting ready to bring more pride to the Motherland, and show those ColdEars what is means to wear a Ushanka. 'Well hello all! It seems this old man still had a decent fight in him! Champion of the Lower 16 - King of the Losers, and bringing pride to comrades everywhere!' He was very used to being underestimated, and never tired from showing just what he had in him. 'After all' he thought whilst dabbing Comrade Odin's blood off his face with the banner, 'you don't survive this long without a little powerhouse inside you.' |

First off, yeah. Turns out when half the locker room smells like a craft store, you gotta stop the presses and start checkin’ gloves, towels, wrist wraps, and anything else that might sparkle under bad lighting. There’s been continued reports of PEG - Performance Enhancing Glitter. Now that the lint’s settled… 🥊 Lower 16 - The Story So Far This bracket didn’t play out. The bracket kept movin’.
🥊 Tussyy def. Comrade_Odin - TKO This wasn’t a debate. Tussyy came in sharp, accurate, and mean about it. Clean work. 🥊 The_Iron_Lotus def. Spicoli - by Points This one breathed. Spicoli brought pressure. No fireworks. That’s survival with style.
While grudges were settlin’ upstairs, the basement kept chewin’. Round 2 Results 🥊 Tungsten def. Yoshi - by Points 🥊 Ear_Snot def. PlagueDoctor - by Points 🥊 Mint_Royale def. Dixxon - TKO 🥊 Calito_Brigante def. Alcatraz_Cohen - TKO Round 3 Results 🥊 Tungsten def. Mint_Royale - TKO 🥊 Calito_Brigante def. Ear_Snot - by Points Round 4 Results 🥊 Comrade_Odin def. Tungsten - TKO 🥊 Calito_Brigante def. Spicoli - by Points Round 5 Results 🥊 Comrade_Odin def. Calito_Brigante - KO Odin closed the book with punctuation.
🥊 Semi-Final Tussyy def. The_Iron_Lotus - KO 🥊 Round 6 - Elimination Comrade_Odin def. The_Iron_Lotus - TKO Relentless pace.
Tussyy def. Comrade_Odin - KO Here’s the truth: They both earned it. Odin hit the canvas. 📌 TheDude’s TakeThis wasn’t a bracket, it was a filter. Everybody down here had already lost once. Yeah… there were rumours. But when the bell rang? Only fists mattered. Tussyy walked out standin’. Lower 16 is closed. If you survived that? You didn’t get lucky. Next up Top 16 Semis and Onward.
TheDude abides. |

First off, apologies for the delay. There were gloves checked. Funny thing is… Like somebody flipped a switch and decided tonight was gonna be honest. But turns out the delay wasn’t about glitter at all. Unfortunately, SlimRagnarok has been shot and is out of competition. Slim didn’t tap. He was removed from the bracket by something heavier than fists, and the commission sends its condolences. With Slim forced out, the Semi-Finals were left uneven, so the commission made the only fair call left to make. Ghostof2011 and Lilac of the Valley were granted a chance to contend for the vacant Semi-Final spot. No shortcuts.
🥊Lilac of the Valley def. Ghostof2011 - KO This wasn’t charity. Ghost showed heart, grit, and resistance, but Lilac found the opening, landed clean, and closed the door hard. Just impact and consequence.
Lilac of the Valley vs LadyFighter 🥊Lilac of the Valley def. LadyFighter - TKO LadyFighter came in sharp and composed. Once momentum shifted, it stayed shifted. SisterFister vs Hairy_Piston 🥊SisterFister def. Hairy_Piston - by Points This one went the distance. Hairy Piston brought grit. No knockouts.
🥊LadyFighter def. Hairy_Piston - TKO Short notice. LadyFighter rebounded hard, landing clean and ending it before Hairy could settle back in.
🥊Lilac of the Valley def. SisterFister - KO And this was it. Two survivors. SisterFister came forward, as always. When the shot landed, it landed right. No doubt. We have a champion.
This stretch didn’t care about narratives. The PEG talk vanished the moment the lights got bright, makes you wonder what made it stop. What stayed was pressure. Lilac of the Valley didn’t luck into this, she fought through disruption, opportunity, and consequence. And SlimRagnarok didn’t lose in the ring, he was taken out by something that doesn’t respect brackets. He remains part of this story. The main fights are now complete. But we’re not finished. There are placement matches left to settle. TheDude abides. 🥃 |

Wow. That's all I can say truthfully. Well, not really. I DEMOLISHED Tony's fighter in the pre game season. We had a little fight and guess who came out on top? beluga the whale. But as I am only a partially sore loser, I would like to congratulate the winners, all of the fighters and even the losers, looking at you beluga. I am saddened by the death of my strongest opponent, SlimRagnarok. I feel he had the guts to win the entire tournament had his life not been ended in the time it had. I wish all competitors well and though the losers bracket remains, I am much appreciative to Jeffrey Lebowski for running the tournament, perhaps one of the best I've EVER seen in many years throughout this country. I hope to see more in the near to distant future good sir. |

Nothing in this life truly valuable was given for free. If you wanted to make it in this life, you fought for it one way or another, and that is exactly what many of them did these days. They fought for it. Every punch, every take down, every victory. It was fought for. Silently one young lady made her way through this battle. She wasn't much to look at, heck it was likely that the murmurs said that she would be the first one out of here... But she didn't care about murmurs. Lilac was here to fight and she had something to prove. So battle after battle, Lilac would use the skills and strengths she did have and fight by fight she did not disappoint. She had begun to pick up momentum, making sure to pay respect to her every opponent, but never to let her guard down. She was here for a purpose and she fought. She reveled in the pride of those closest to her as she came out victorious in many of her matches. She made it far but it seemed her journey would end as she fought a woman that she respected dearly and it seemed that her luck, or grit, or whatever spurred her on had run out. She left the ring beaten, bruised, but not broken. But fate wasn't done yet and it sure as heck had some dark sense of humor. The phone call that summoned her back to the mat was heeded humbly and she once again returned, full of hope and determination. She had been gifted a second chance and she was hell bent to make good on it. So she did. On back into the bracket she found herself and victorious in her fights she found herself once more until she climbed her way to the final fight... And by the grace of whoever watched from above, she won. Her heart swelled with pride as she stood, the last upon the mat for this tournament. Into this thing of theirs, she had come a frightened kitten running from ghosts... But these days she didn't care much for running from anything. Lilac of the Valley was here and she would take this life by storm. She didn't say much even in victory, but merely stood there proudly gazing about the packed stands for those who had come to mean so much to her. She had done it and as she drank in the intoxicating atmosphere, she knew that if the call went out again, she would answer it.
(Thank you so much for hosting this Jeffrey_Lebowski! It was fun and I loved reading every word! Absolutely amazing! Look forward to the next adventures with you lot! <3 ) |
