Tired and worn, Alessia steps out to the crowd of mafioso waiting a statement concerning the recent take down of Ace-Rimmer. Looking around with sad eyes at some new arrivals from the harbour and knowing they had lost their father or mother, she draws a deep breath and speaks. Ladies and gentlemen, today you were witnesses to a quick take down of a man whom a lot of you thought was a crew leader. He was not - he had rogued when his leader, Animal, was killed to help finish the war. We, the remaining crew leaders, have discussed many times the pros and cons of authing him properly as his actions at that time were brave and it was done out of loyalty and love of his family. However, during this time, not once has Mr Rimmer come into the meetings and spoken up for himself, nor has he gone to the streets or in any way expressed his wishes or plans if authed. This combined with our general reluctance to auth a rogue no matter the reasons caused us to conclude the need for and to carry out his take down. I'll be glad to answer any polite questions you may have. |

| Tired and worn out from what may I ask? Ace himself was a true soldier but if he was the rogue why let him stay over seven days? And why kill the rest of his family, in which a large number was fresh faces. And even more so why kill him when you yourself admitted that their was a housing shortage? | |

| There are many reasons for the take down of his family and members Doctor which will be explained later. | |

Why not get Ace_Rimmer to step down as a CL instead of killing him? Also do not see why fresh faced gangsters and goombas were killed, target practice i guess. |

You cannot step down as a Crew Leader. These are our ways here. I'm surprised that it didn't happen sooner as well. |

A crewleader and his members were shot in one wave. They have not been picked off since. From Gangster to Consig they could all have shot at him and allowed him some form of protection. Please get off your high horses about 'new' people to our shores. They accept the risk of death when they accept an invite. |

You are correct Doctor, we wish it had been a bit more timely but it is extremely difficult to get the crewleaders together due to different business schedules. Also as I said, we were looking at it with a can we overlook he's a rogue or not while during that time, he did nothing to convince us otherwise. As far as stepping down goes - once someone is a rogue, that is hardly an option. We have temporary arrangements in place for the homeless and there will be more authing shortly. As far as the shooting of some of his family goes - please see Bloody's reply Thank you |

| True he didn't speak up much during the discusions in the crew leader coffee shop but that is due to the fact he didn't feel it was his place untill the leaders had made a decision. There was also talk of him becoming a captain which he would of taken, he had even said that if the leaders had wanted he would have stepped down. | |

We understand there is a shortage of housing at the moment, but you have to stop and take a second to think of how many people he was housing? 23 at best, also keep in mind that they were also selectively recruiting in the time when housing was needed most. As Alessia stated, he never made any indication what is plans were, or even who he was. Granted he's roamed these streets for some time, but with the increase of Mafioso's as of late, don't you think they should be aware who the man is Charge of an entire city is? I'm surprised that no one had complained or asked about that publicly prior to the take down to begin with. The purpose is to do things correctly when attempting to create a stable environment and not being involved in everyday life is not the way things are handled. |

| Well I can tell you my father and Alessia knew each other very well. They had plenty of private meetings, they had both started of in Leadfoots family with her as RHM. After Leadfoot retired from the life of crime they both joined with Animal & where at one point both going to setup up in Chicago together & form an alliance but Animal didn't want me to leave as my father was a trainee hitter, so I ask you how can it be said she didn't know my father or his aspirations for leadership. | |

| Dominick listens to Alessia, and as she finishes her speech he smiles and looks around and listens to the rest of the people who have something to say. He smiles yet again after they finish, shakes his head and walks away while looking up at the blue sky. | |

If you are a rogue leader looking to be promoted to a fully fledged, accepted Family Head then you go to the streets, plead your case, keep your opinions and voice public so it impresses the other Family Heads. Ace made no attempt to do this whatsoever. So can you really blame Alessia and the others? Also people were killed in Aces Family AT THE SAME TIME AS THE SUCCESSFUL ATTEMPT ON ACES LIFE . Isn't this the normal case for defeating a consigliere with a Family? Weaken his numbers whilst attempting a shot on his life? Strange....I'm sure thats always been the tactic in the past. Perhaps some people forget this? My condolances to the fallen, but this is no different to a normal takedown. Would have thought most of you would be taught this by your mothers and fathers. Obviously not... |

Noticing a bit of commotion she finds herself listening to a small argument on a quiet Street corner. She stops and quietly waits until everyone is finished. Cautioning her guards to give her some space she starts to speak in a firm, yet respectful voice. As Alessia, DrBunsenHoneydew, and others have stated there was nothing out of the ordinary with this take down. We saw a threat, we saw someone we didn't feel safe with wearing a bold suit, we saw someone that had put little effort into winning our approval. We decided to look out for our families and crews now rather than wait and find out that it was a mistake. Yes, in the past rogue crews have been given full authorization but they worked for it. They plead their case. They at least SPOKE to the other leaders. They did not have their members and staff come to the leaders inquiring as to the status of their crew and bold suit. So we did as many have done in the past. We saw a Consigliere leader with a number of family members so in order to make it quick and painless we did what anyone using common sense would do. We hit the members of his crew to weaken him, then the shot on Ace was taken. All kills, save for one, were within a moment of each other. After that the identifiable members were and will remain to be left untouched for a period of 48 hours. THIS is generous of us. Throughout history the members of a rogue crew were taken out immediately, regardless of identifying tattoos, cards, and promotional attire. I am very sorry to those who lost their loved ones. It is a very sad time in one's life, unfortunately it was time we took a stand after giving Ace more than enough time to prove himself to us. Some of you won't like this decision, we fully expected that to be honest, but it is a decision we made and will continue to stand by. She smiles sweetly and quickly walks away followed by her guards and entourage. |

I firmly believe that these actions were according and just, for the purpose being that Ace did not receive auth, but merely showed up. He was a rogue and under the circumstances he had to be dealt with in an according manner. Let it be known that there is no special rules for certain people when they go rogue each must be dealt with swiftly and in the most according manner. As for Housing, 20 members aren’t that much; tell me when did you see all of Aces 20 family members on at once? In fact when did you see maybe 3 of Ace_Rimmers members online at once, as I see it they were just taking up space in Las Vegas and weren’t doing anything for the city or for the community. In my Conclusion I Respect the circumstances and in which the takedown was executed and I congratulate you on a job well done |

Unlike others, Ace was a man of his word. If you as leaders had asked him to step down, he would have to save whatever members he had gained during his time as a "leader". My father told me of the agreement the leaders had with those who had stepped up in bold, 3 people had been promised a city each when and if Mr Corleone died, their auths would be announced after his death. The only one out of those three that survived the war and was still in bold, was Ace Rimmer. Where did his announcement of being the new leader of Las Vegas go? Why let him bring in people to his HQ for a week or more, and let him keep assuming the announcement would come sooner or later? Why not be what you are supposed to be; leaders. And either stick to your word as men and women of honor or just tell the man straight up; You are not getting auth. Giving the man nothing but empty promises, and making him look like a idiot, just because he didn't come out here to announce his own auth... What auth? You say he's a rogue, and yet you want him to come out here to speak up about his "family" and his "intentions". A bit hypocritical don't you think? Fact is you all knew he couldn't have done jack and shit to you as leaders... his gun sucked ass, but still it's not so much that that he couldn't have done any damage... But wouldn't have. If his intentions were anything but the ones YOU as leaders already knew of; That he wanted to run his own family in Vegas with your blessing, and for you to announce it. IF he had any other intentions, he would never had holstered his gun after Mr. Corleone had died. And all you had to do if you didn't want him in bold, was to just fucking say it. Not bitch about it after his death when you never even gave him any other option than to believe YOUR promises were true and to await the announcement, it would have been stupid of him to step up and announce himself a leader without either of you coming out here to tell the people that Ace Rimmer IS one of YOU, a fellow leader. You all know this to be true, so don't even try to tell me otherwise. "This combined with our general reluctance to auth a rogue no matter the reasons caused us to conclude the need for and to carry out his take down.." - Alessia You all promised three "rogues" they would get; New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas after the death of Mr. Corleone. Those three "rogues" were, KingKobra, Kira Esposito and Ace Rimmer. So again, I ask, since you did NOT want to auth a "rogue"... Why not tell him so straight away after Mr. Corleone was dead that he was not going to get auth? You never had any intention of authing him, your statement right there tells me that much. "You cannot step down as a Crew Leader. These are our ways here." - Corleone_Jr "Our" ways, what ways would that be? I thought he was a rogue, or at least that was why he was killed wasn't it? Or was he given auth without knowing so, and then killed for being a mute? Now that would make me giggle my ass off, seriously. Funny shit. "Also as I said, we were looking at it with a can we overlook he's a rogue or not while during that time, he did nothing to convince us otherwise. As far as stepping down goes - once someone is a rogue, that is hardly an option." - Alessia What exactly did you....as leaders do to let him know what he needed to do? My assumption is nothing, prove me wrong though. You came out here to say "He was not, a leader." But yet you expect him to act like one, when all he was doing was waiting for something that was never coming, one among so many broken promises in our days, his official "auth" from the leaders. And hardly an option, to step down? Have you ever had a rogue in your bloodline? If not I assume you're speaking of morons that went rogue just for the fuck of it to kill shit, which clearly he didn't. And also remember that there was another Consigliere "rogue" from Animal's family that is still alive, who did go bold but stepped down and joined a family, because he did not have the time to run a family of his own. So..... yeah. "We understand there is a shortage of housing at the moment, but you have to stop and take a second to think of how many people he was housing? 23 at best, also keep in mind that they were also selectively recruiting in the time when housing was needed most." - KingKopperhead The son of KingKobra, thought that at least you would have your eyes open and see things clear... I was mistaken. You say 23 at best, like they don't mean shit, to you maybe they didn't.. but to him they did, or they wouldn't have been with him, but that also meant he had at least room for 27 or more. And I can't believe you just said that he was selectively recruiting...in a bad way... Are you seriously saying he should just have taken in anyone to his "family"? You're a RHM, so I would answer that question carefully. "As Alessia stated, he never made any indication what is plans were, or even who he was. Granted he's roamed these streets for some time, but with the increase of Mafioso's as of late, don't you think they should be aware who the man is Charge of an entire city is?" - KingKopperhead Maybe you missed something, she clearly stated he was NOT a leader... So why should he have been out here? Give me one good reason to why he should put his neck out here, when he knows he can't do shit to defend himself, because if the leaders still saw him as a rogue, he was bound to die...sooner rather than later if he "acted" like a "leader" before he was even announced as the head of Las Vegas... So HOW the hell was he in charge of a city, when he was not even a leader in their eyes? "I'm surprised that no one had complained or asked about that publicly prior to the take down to begin with. The purpose is to do things correctly when attempting to create a stable environment and not being involved in everyday life is not the way things are handled." - KingKopperhead No one probably complained because... 1. The leaders probably had none or minimal problems occurring from his members or himself. and 2. It's not like it's the "in" thing for leaders nowadays to step up and just talk... is it? And he wasn't even a leader yet... How many of the leaders are involved in the "everyday life" as you call it, how many of them speak frequently in public...? Also people were killed in Aces Family AT THE SAME TIME AS THE SUCCESSFUL ATTEMPT ON ACES LIFE . Isn't this the normal case for defeating a consigliere with a Family? Weaken his numbers whilst attempting a shot on his life? Strange....I'm sure thats always been the tactic in the past. Perhaps some people forget this? My condolances to the fallen, but this is no different to a normal takedown. Would have thought most of you would be taught this by your mothers and fathers. Obviously not... - DrBunsenHoneydew People kept falling after his death as well, you can't tell me a Earner with the home city of Las Vegas or even a Goomba, tags or no tags was not one of his members and shouldn't have been left alone. He had 21 to 23 members, the shot was easier to make than you might think dear, DrBunsenHoneydew... Especially knowing the shooter, and he didn't really lose that many members before he even died did he, he lost more after his death. So yeah, the strategy to "weaken" him, can't really use that here as an argument. Something your mother or father should have told you, but obviously not... Let it be known that there is no special rules for certain people when they go rogue each must be dealt with swiftly and in the most according manner. As for Housing, 20 members aren't that much; tell me when did you see all of Aces 20 family members on at once? In fact when did you see maybe 3 of Ace_Rimmers members online at once, as I see it they were just taking up space in Las Vegas and weren't doing anything for the city or for the community. - TM-Scarface "Swiftly and in the most according manner." - So what you mean is, give a man false hope of getting auth, let him wait for a announcement and after a week, kill him and his members for being "rogue". I'll remember to use that tactic sometime, or have my next of kin do so, seems to work out well... Good target practice right? 20 members aren't that much? Depends on what caliber those members were made of, Ace himself was someone my bloodline would be honored to serve with at all times, his RHM as well, even his LHM, along with some other members he had. As stated by KingKopperhead earlier, Ace was selectively recruiting... And I can only assume he tried to get the best he could find among those who asked for an invite. Seeing as he was doomed from day one anyway, that was a wise choice, less casualties and less bitching from the "community" about fucking up this thing of ours because of people dying. When have you seen all or even 3 of Ace's members around at the same time, are you kidding me? So because they're not all around at the same time... It justifies killing them off? "In my Conclusion I Respect the circumstances and in which the takedown was executed and I congratulate you on a job well done" - TM-Scarface I'd tell you my conclusion of you and some others here, but I don't think my dear Iris would like that very much. So, have a nice day, all of you. |

God I have so much to say here, but I am sure it will be a waste of my time. We could sit here and argue till the end of time, will it make any difference..... No! So accept the fact the leaders made a decision, and acted on. Either go on with your little routine, or do something about it. I am tired of hearing useless whiny rants from some of you people, for fuck sakes you are supposed to be Mafiosos not third grade pansy's. |

SO... Ace was left to lead his family for 7 days, he was classed as a rogue, During this time, he was "unofficially limited to a 25 man HQ" which he adhered to. Now, Why if he was a rogue, was he allowed to live so long? If the inital intention was that he was not going to be in power, THEN SAY IT SOONER! He did not come to the streets to assert authority or stake his claim because he did not know the situation. he did not know if he was auth'd, he did not know if he was even being considered to stay, he had asked, all he got was... "i'll see if so and so is on and we'll discuss it. A rogue has been left in charge of a family before, Oliver_McTavish (great leader) and the most lately, Jonnie_Reese (didnt agree with him, but had a goal and acheived it, utmost respect!), you trusted them, you let them live, why was Ace so different, was it because you actually could shoot him and grew a pair , cos you knew that you would win? The current Mafia counsel is a joke, do not leave a person in limbo for 7 days and then decide his future with a bullet and some poor excuse's that you could versed to him and he would have gone along with. Thanks for listening, im sure you will shoot this speech down in flames as people have done so many times before, but i dont care, i have said my piece, now i can sleep easy with the fish's and wear my cement shoes somewhat more comfortably! |
