After discussions with SlimRagnarok and TheNewGuy, Detroit is now open for any new organization that wishes to open their doors.

There are no restrictions or fees to pay.

If you are a Made Man or beyond and have the consent of your current Don, you're eligible to setup here. Sling me a mail and we'll find you some real estate to start your operation. 

If you are below Made Man, either speak to your Don about whether the books will be opened for you or alternatively, if they agree, you can join Detroit and I will grant you the authority needed to establish a crew here.

Great to see there is literally no barriers to any individual that wants to lead a crew, leave their family (with permission) and most importantly invest the time they feel they have to recruit new mobsters joining this world.

For anyone standing on the sidelines saying they haven't been given an opportunity, this is your chance. 

No "catch", no whining, and an opportunity for any and all active mobsters in this world to lead a family and show everyone how they would do it differently and better - can't wait to see what people plan to do!

Like others have said, I praise Slim and LittleSi (Alongside mr NewGuy) for experimenting with this to hopefully combat some ..initiative that we may lack in in our world.

RnR said it well, no one can say they aren't given a chance if they just pass up the opportunity to sit alongside the other grand leaders in Detroit.

New York is also internally asking before we possible may go with the same offer as our friends in Detroit.

......ah yes, here we go. To date RocknRollStaaaaar, there has been a total of zero candidates who have made themselves known to me.

We need to remedy this. TheTrashTruck, in your own opinion you're the greatest leader this world has ever seen. When are you going to stop being selfish and set up, so we can all learn from you? 

With such a great oppurtunity, it baffles me that we have not one single mafioso who would like to spread their wings and become a crew leader. I hope the next week, with Christmas around the corner, we have some people in the spirit and decide to try their hand.

This is a genuinely nice gesture and a positive initiative. Opening Detroit without restrictions or fees creates real opportunities for growth, and it is encouraging to see leadership actively inviting new organizations to establish themselves. 
 

I'm a very big fan of this.

I think this is a great move by the leadership of Detroit, so much so that I'd like to offer anyone within the city limits of LA or LV 25 million to assist in set up fees, all you have to do is reach out to me and let me know that you have interest in taking up Si and Slim on their offer. Hell I'll even let you be an honorary member of the Dean Collective and let you make the punch at our next meet, if that'll stir up some interest.

I understand NY is working on a similar project as well.  

Maybe, the fun and sun interests me... I might be in touch so I don't have to endure these east coast winters.

I have to say that it seems New York was in the same position as Detroit in this journey. While Detroit opened it to anyone interested, New York decided to take their courting internally at first before outsourcing. That only seemed right for us after a discussion.

Proud to say that we have 2 people interested in the destination now and we will be looking to help those who have reached out to me. One a familiar face and the other a not so familiar face. Both have my support for being a captain under me in Queens. 

You will see some changes coming in our city soon and I hope it helps ease the pain on the upper structure of the country, as well as those who are looking for the home that's right for them.

Thanks but no thanks LittleSi. Before I give a short explanation why not, I should clear the air here. There is no source citing myself or any of my kin stating anything about being the greatest leader this world has seen. Great, yes. Greatest no. 

Each of my kins were approached in the same manner by their great leaders. "I need you to help grow our organization." Let me tell you my kin Pepsi was not too keen on leaving the crew she adored. But then a few things were explained. 

Instead of looking and/or asking, I believe the above approach would be far more beneficial and meaningful.  

It was very recent that I concurred with you there was no need for any more crews. I have not changed my mind. However, this is a very nice offer for anyone interested in getting their feet wet. 

Four days later, Detroit isn't anywhere closer to the 10 Crew leaders by Christmas goal. However, New York has hired a new auth with beluga. Also, rumblings of maybe one more who may want to test their luck. It looks like New York is up 1-0 on Detroit in the first four days since the announcement.

As some of you may suspect or even know, I am the kin to the awesome "TheTrashTruck" and for those who care I assure you TheTrashTruck is resting in peace. 

As we can see my cousin was called out here and she was quite elegant and respectful when she responded. I'm going to be a little a lot less elegant. 

Why in the hell would you not select a captain out of Detroit? That there question is worth far more the cost being offered for anyone to set up.

This is indeed a great opportunity for those who wish to take the leap of faith and run their own crew.  My great grandpappy spoke of similar situations back in the old days but there were restrictions and taxes levied on the crews.  I do wish those that jump on this opportunity the best of luck.
