Valmont steps up to the newly named Godfather of Philidelphia. He had known DeadlySin since he was a young boy and was honored to get to speak to him in this way.
Godfather Deadlysin, what an honor it is to see you reach this rank and bring the city if philidelphia along to philisophic levels. It is very few a mobster that can claim the rank of Godfather, most die before the time comes, and even fewer have the abilities to seize the power when it comes there way. It takes a cunning, brave, and valiant man to claw his way to this rank, and when it happens they are reveared for their darring and ability.
Congradulations DeadlySin, It is not every day that such a charismatic, and worthy man acheives the rank of Godfather on these shores. I wish you the best of luck with your city and cant wait for the fruitful benifits that I am sure will follow. |

LeftBrain was laying on his love seat with his hat over his face. On the faithful Friday he slumbered off to sleep with sleeping pills. He hasn't awaken till today. On the coffee table next to him lies open container of pills laying out on a newspaper. LeftBrain's phone starts ringing. He awakens slowly. He stomps his right foot down and sits himself up. He leans over, placing his elbows on his shoulders. Rubbing his face and eyes, he stands up and walks over to the phone. LeftBrain bends down and holds on to the chair from being lightheaded. He goes over to the phone--seeming like it's been an hour, but only twenty seconds. He answers the phone. It's was Mayor_McCheese. He warned what happen this past weekend. He was very upset and mad at the fact of my location during the weekend.
Shit man. I...I have been knocked out.
LeftBrain gets a cig out of his pocket and lights one up, holding the phone by his shoulder. LeftBrain has been informed of DeadlySin, the war, and my whereabouts now. LeftBrain hangs up the phone and walks over to his old HQ. The Strangers HQ. He gets there with men scattered everywhere. He walks into the HQ and straight to DeadlySin's office. Even though them both have never spokened. Still rude to not congrats him on this special accomplishment. He opens the door and sits in his chair. Deadly was sitting. Working. LeftBrain decides to make this fast.
I'm sorry that I was nowhere to be found all weekend. That was my fault. But, now I'm here to make sure that Phil_Steak and the city of Philly can acheive great things. So, as of right now. I congrats you on your promotion to GodFather. May Philly stand strong!
LeftBrain rises up and smiles. Walking out of the HQ with a determined look. Maybe the next time we meet. It be on a even happier time. |

When my father was killed in the last great war that shook all of La Cosa Nostra, I found myself orphaned and in need of a place to call home. My home city of New York had been leveled, and there was nothing left for me there. I fled the city in the aftermath of the war mourning the loss of my father and the Godfather he worked for and headed south to Philadelphia. It was there that a dear friend of my father said she would take me in. At the time there was only one criminal outfit operating in Philadelphia, headed by a man named DeadlySin. I recognized his lineage, as I had read journals from my ancestors about past relatives of his. Generations ago, a distant relative of mine was in a rival city to a distant relative of DeadlySin. The two had often sparred verbally in the streets as tension mounted between the two syndicates. While their distaste for one another was well-documented in both the street archives and in my ancestor's journals, it was clear to me that there was an element of respect for him despite the unpleasantness. Always business, nothing personal. I started working for DeadlySin uncertain of how I would take to him and more importantly, how he would take to me. We spoke early on in my criminal career, and I feel I developed an instant rapport with him. It dawned on me then that our past ancestors most likely butted heads not for being polar-opposites of one another, but because they were of similar personalities. I felt instantly at home in his compound, and he earned my respect and loyalty. I take you all on this boring trip down memory-lane not only to highlight how bloodlines that may have been at odds with one another in the past can refreshingly get along as their family tree grows and mature, but to express to my newly appointed Godfather how proud I am of his great accomplishment and how happy I am to be a part of his Family. I wish you the best of luck in your already thriving career. Salut Godfather DeadlySin. It's a pleasure to be working for you. |
