Do WHAT shit, Maximus? Put out a quality paper and entertain the masses with an intelligent and humorous publication? Yeah, God forbid anyone should create something of such high quality on the streets. I'll bet if you go to jail you could find a "two word story" to make you clap your hands and chirp. When you put forth 1/10 of the effort that any of these ladies have in the past couple months, then feel free to criticize their hard work. |

Marietta slowly feels the corner of her eye start twitching when she hears Maximus speak. Giving a falsely sweet smile the woman clears her throat and plucks his copy of Tea Time from his hands. I assume you won't be keeping that? Thanks. She places it back upon the top of the stack of several other copies of the paper and narrows her eyes at the young man. I'll also have you know, when the "shit" we do is in the name of entertainment, then yeah, I think people generally accept the "shit" we do. That, and if you haven't noticed many of the readers are repeating fans, meaning we are all up to speed on that fact that this is a gossip magazine. In fact, I make sure there are several disclaimers in each paper citing it is designed to speculate, poke fun and gossip about the mobsters of our Seven Cities. You want real news? Read a real fucking paper. You want a laugh? Read the tabloids. |
