Insidious. Nobody ever excused the mistake. The facts are that the mistake was being compensated for and then taken care of. But MikeHunt had no patience or actual thought process and chose to just rush into everything by shooting another City Head's RH.
There is no excusing that kind of mistake. I believe that shooting a body guard by accident is something that should be punished by death. But shooting another City Head's RH without even talking. Is even worse in comparison.
But just seeing the way that many from Chicago carry themselves in the streets, it doesn't surprise me that MikeHunt made such a rash decision. |

Fudge, want a couple more straws to grasp? Chicago has the legs, and the stamina.
You really take this captain save-a-ho shit seriously. I disrespected noone.
And yes. Had my uppers not been around, I would have shot and most likely failed ;) So goes this life in this thing we do. |

So now we're admitting that the members want to shoot people. Really top notch program over there Mike. You're a shining beacon for us all. |

WT hung out on the outskirts of the crowd of people yelling at each other. He had heard the news about the muck up between New Orleans and Chicago. Clearly some really bad decisions had been made and now the two cities were at each others throats, literally. He let the crowd get really excited before he crossed the street and rang his bell. Rash would be an understatement it seems to me. Never in our history has it been policy to shoot off the cuff. In these kinds of situations, it's best to let the offending parties Leader deal with them. When you take matters into your own hand's involving the fate of other peoples member's things get messy, as we have seen. The correct thing to do would have been to approach Mr. Python and explain the situation and the terms. I believe that Mr. Python would have recognized that his member had acted out of accordance, and reprimanded her properly. We do not have room for loose cannons in our world. We have enough of those with the Brotherhood still running around. But hey, call me old fashioned. I was taught in a day and age where each leader was given respect enough to do the right thing under their own terms. If the terms are not agreeable, that can always be discussed as well. Diplomacy goes a long way. Yes, MikeHunt hasn't fallen yet, and neither has StanPython. I just hope that the victor here learns from the mistakes made here over the last few days. |

And just so it's clear, I never once said what Mike did was 'right'. I had fully expected monetary compensation. Yes, I said I was going to shoot. Would I, a young goomba, take that chance? Even though I let my foot overtake my mouth in the last statement, no, I wouldn't. I let my uppers deal with it. Unfortunately, someone died.
Now, I ask you, how is what Mr. Python is doing any better? He is sacrificing his entire family in the pursuit of one man.
Both parties could have handled this differently. Alas, they aren't, and people will die. Their children will come to these shores and rebuild. They will grow old. Someone else will shoot somebody elses girlfriend/wife/other, and the cycle will happen again.
Life goes on. |

In fairness, there was little other recourse that could have been taken at this point. He may as well have shot at Mr. Python himself. Killing the second in command of a city usually leads to hurt feeling. When I heard the news of what Mr. Hunt had done I fully expected a war. He would have had to offer up the biggest apology and a boatload of cash to even begin mending those broken ties. Even that likely wouldn't have been enough. When you attack the RHM/W of any place it should be viewed as attacking the city as a whole. When a leader is disrespected at this level, they are left with no other option. That is why Mr. Python is on this crusade to wipe Mr. Hunt off the face of this earth. Yes, these bloodlines will be back and crime-ing once again. The lesson that needs to be taken from all of this is that diplomacy is key if you are going to survive in this world. When you take the fate of another leaders people into your own hands, you are playing with fire. Let them deal with there peoples misdoings. Trust that they will act in a proper fashion. When you do this kind of thing you are not showing how tough you are, or proving how big your balls are. You are merely showing that you don't have the decency or respect to work with other cities as equals. |

The fact of the matter is that yes a RHM made a mistake a BIG mistake. Should that go unpunished? Of course not, but that ball was in Mr. Pythons court not Mr. Hunts. Sure reparations should have been made, that so much is obvious. On the other hand shooting a RHM is an act of war and Mr. Python acted accordingly. |

WT, we go back. Our families haven't been in touch in a while. Let's just say, in one of the bloodeiest times in this world, my uncle protected you for a whole day. At the time it was his greatest honor in this thing of ours. I respect you fully.
But diplomacy? A RHM shoots a BG. You treat that like it was robbing the wrong card game? A RHM to a city shoots a BG in Chicago, that sounds like war. Did he act rashly? No doubt. Was he in the wrong? Absolutely not. A payment was on the way? That's news first of all. Secondly, you dish out cash when a lowly member acts out of order. Not when a RHM kills a BG in Chicago. The only possibly mistake from Chicago was not wiping out New Orleans right then and there. Mike went to an old friend and they worked it out. The old friend lied and struck back. Hey, that's our way of life. He made a good move. But Mike's trusted RHM, going back years, very close, she left and then helped kill Chicago members. Her explanation was that this is a game and she played it.

You think killing the RHM of another city before even speaking a word was the right decision. I did enjoy the part about wiping out New Orleans as well, pretty entertaining how well you're doing that right now. Mike made a huge mistake, accept it and deal with it. |

Good evening Mikey and welcome to the debate. I am not saying weather Elsa should have died for her mistake or not. The fact of the matter is that MikeHunt had zero right deciding her fate. That was on Mr. Python. A leader is responsible for the teaching, management, and punishment of their members. If that was not the case, why be a CL? If someone is going to make those decisions for you, you have no power even within our own family. The leader hands down the ruling. The one who gives the sentence should swing the sword. There would be bedlam if this kind of behavior was allowed to occur. Bottom line, MikeHunt ultimately disrespected Mr. Python by shooting his right hand. That kind of an attack cannot just be let go. In my eyes, I would have rather taken the cash amount that was going to be offered, bought another BG for my associate, and went on with my day. Relying on Mr. Python to deal with her accordingly. Completely sidestepping this whole messy war business. |

Oh I have dealt with it. Call my cynical but getting laid and eating good food, enjoying good weather, that's life to me. The mob is business. But building trust for years and backstabbing someone for minimal game, that's not a part of me.
A possible mistake was not taking out New Orleans then and there. I'm not making an idle threat saying it's happening now. But if you have everyone ready, plants coming over including Mike's RHM, and you're behind on the body count, are you really ok with that? Proud of that? If you are, that's cool. Enjoy it. |

And Turkey, I wasn't talking to you the last time I spoke. I hear you. You hear me.
I still think...diplomacy is thrown out the window when the RHm to a city kills someone in Chicago. What if Stan took the shot instead of his RHM? Do you still sit and wait for an apology? Would an apology matter either way? The only mistake I see was talking to a very old friend, and working it out, and trusting him. At least, however, that is a matter of strategy. Someone lied and took advantage of it. Well done. But the second in command of a city shooting someone in Chicago and getting away with it? No way. |

The funny thing is that when Mike killed the RHM, he still wanted compensation from New Orleans for a BG. No one got away with it Mikey, they never would have. Mike decided to put the decision into his own hands instead of talking with the other leader and in that action decided what was to come. |

If cities went to war over every accidental BG shot, or even accidental shooting, there would be no mafia my friend. Every single person would be dead. Even if it is a RHM there is no reason to act so rashly. There have been instances of New Yorkers shooting at Philadelphian mafioso and vice versa. Why are Don Garcini and Godfather DeadlySin not warring it out? If you say it is because they are weak... I dare you to say it to their faces. It is because they learned long ago that most things can be worked out. You can talk out situations and get to see another day, or save a lot of your members lives. Mr. Hunt would have even had room to debate how much should be paid, given that his members BG was shot. He probably would have gotten a large amount out of it and still had Apollonia by his side, and the countless other members he's lost. Accidents happen. The mafia pays well for such accidents. People need to learn to pick their battles better. This is a situation that got blown way out of proportion. |

Fudge, FYI, Mike actually didn't want compensation after he killed the RH. So you shouldn't speak without knowing what you're talking about. |

Yeah Mike said don't worry about the compensation. Old friends. You wanna move on? Me too. That was it. Again, only mistake was trusting an old friend.
I hate to be so cynical, but if you want to put this theory to the test, Turkey, kill Bunny's bodyguard. Say sorry. Hold hands. Then get back to me. |

WildTurkey has hit the Nail Firmly on the head here Mike might as well have fired a shot at Stan himself The Right Hand is considered in all aspects to be the Crew Leader in his/Hers absence, Do you think The SinFather himself would stand for a Shot fired at his Right Hand?
I personaly cant see any Crew leader worth there salt Standing for it, If Stan hadnt acted it would be seen as a form of weakness that you could push him around and get away with it Mr Hunts rush of blood in this inncodent could easy have been avoided if he used his head instead of his gun. |

Well we are never going to see me personally testing this theory, as I am not that stupid. Say even if I was that stupid to shoot at bunny's guards, I am betting that Godfather DeadlySin would at very least send Mr. Garcini a "dafaq?" mail inquiring just what happened. Why? Because DeadlySin understands respect. I am not saying I wouldn't die for such a thing, I am saying that it would likely be Don Garcini pulling the trigger. |
