That is what will be remembered of the 4th October, a triumvirate of Dons seizing the day and restoring a sense of respect and purpose in La Cosa Nostra. For I will not lie to you today, I will let you know first and foremost that this is a grab for power. There are of course other factors revolving this cataclysmic turn of events, but it is not the desire of Don Caligula, Don Mont and myself to fill your heads with propaganda, so I will again reiterate:

This was first and foremost a power grab. We know we can do better in the positions of ultimate authority than the leaders of recent times, and we intend to write this message in blood.

However a power grab is not, as some would have you believe, a vile and heinous act to be condemned by all. It is an act which we should see as natural in this cut throat way of life, an event which culminates with other factors in the turnover of leadership, preventing utter mediocrity in business.

Nevertheless, I am sure many of you will seek to brand me and my comrades traitors, solely because of our backgrounds. Before these words leave your mouths, I beg you to consider that none of this current leadership would be here without treachery. Even more importantly for our way of life, I beg you to consider that once a mobster leaves his family to spread his wings as a Leader, he no longer owes a debt of loyalty to his former leader. Whilst many of you would wish it to be so, this attitude would breed perpetual stagnancy, and it is not how business should be done.

Now, many have given their lives today, and for us to justify that with talk of a "power grab" is frankly unacceptable. We do have our motives, and we inform you now, the masses, of our motives. This is not out of any feeling of maliciousness or spite towards the vanquished leaders, but because the fallen are owed an explanation, if nothing else.

Onward to business. It seems logical, as the first leader to have died, to begin with Daera. But where to begin? A catalogue of errors had left us wondering why he was even still live, surely the proverbial nine lives had been lost long ago? In the public domain, there had been the actions of OhCrap, Zulo, Scorch and Denver. Individuals with their own agendas I'm sure, but nevertheless accountability must fall on the head of Daera who chose to elevate them to positions of importance. This alone, however, was not reason enough to wage war on New York.

Also in the public domain, there have been frequent shows of uncontrolled behaviour, namely in the coffee shops. Don Daera's inability to control himelf is the chief factor which led to his downfall. He carried himself with ill grace, throwing blame around wildly after his Captain's mistake which led to the death of half of the crew. First blame went to the wrong doer, and rightly, but soon blame extended to the City Hall officials, which I, and I'm sure many of the community, saw to be totally unacceptable. Sadly, this was not the last of it, upon goading, he took it upon himself to insinuate one of my Capos was a paedophile. From a Don, this was shocking conduct. A Don is an example, a figurehead to lead the community; and this helplessness to control his own speech was not just himself, but all of his peers, in a bad light. My colleagues readily agreed with me.

Still, my friends, this was not the end of proceedings. Seemingly hellbent on nailing his coffin shut in one night, Don Daera then sought me out in the Leader's booth over on IRC avenue. He informed me that if Argo was found to be in NY, he would be shot. As many of you will know of my bloodline, I will sooner die than take a threat to my family lying down. I relayed this message to my compares Don Mont and Don Caligula and as outraged as I, they decided it was matter of when, not if.

Rather than knocking down constraints, this commitment created more hurdles for the three of us. What of Don Iris's bloodline and her friendship with Daera, stretching back far further than most of us have even known of these shores.

We, along with anyone with a brain, knew that Daera acted with an arrogance that belied his actual power. We knew that it was not his own weight, but the weight of Philadelphia that he threw around so carelessly.

So despite assurances from Iris that Philly kept to it's own, we knew in our hearts that there was only one course of action, Don Iris must fall with New York. As we adapted to this revelation, we cast off our myopic view of affairs in the 7 cities, and Iris' shortcomings as a leader became as clear to us as to the community.

If we address matters chronologically with Iris, it is worth noting that her senior hitters and advisors, mobsters with decades of experience between them, implored her to deal with the Alessia problem. Rather than heed the advice of her trusted inner sanctum, she decided to scorn their counsel. It was a mystery why she felt this crass attitude towards what should've been her most valuable members was appropriate or necessary, but it soon became clear that her ultimate loyalty did not lie with Philadelphia.

The deplorable tantrums her senior members tolerated whenever war was mentioned are part of the bigger issue here; the absolute refusal to war the late Don Alessia. She was regarded by all and sundry as a poor leader, yet Iris' point blank rejection of conflict hinted at either fear or nepotism, hardly the most awe inspiring qualities one looks for in a Don.

This on its own would, of course, be no reason to wage war, but as time went on Iris's nepotism became more clear, especially with the non-punishment of FlyingPig after his slaying of a Wise Guy in Daera's family. To revert to Daera momentarily, his inactivity following this act spoke volumes, he either didn't care about his members, or his friendship with Iris outweighed the loyalty he felt to his family, either way, a disgusting show of leadership. It was becoming increasingly obvious that the community was being led astray.

By this point, Don Mont, Don Caligula and myself were committed to our path , yet still our legitimacy grew. Legionnaire, the man who HQ wacked half of ShagggyD's family, was banished from our shores from his actions, yet one of Iris' capos, Prem_is_Sexy, was known to have congratulated Legionnaire in the coffee shops, and yet received no punishment. Is it coincidence that Prem and Iris were close friends? I'll let you decide.

Whatever you do decide, you cannot deny the lack of punishment in this instance. You cannot deny the lack of punishment when FlyingPig acted beyond his station and shot a member unaffiliated with himself. You cannot deny the refusal to war Alessia when it was clearly necessary was a costly error, nor can you deny the unwillingness to act when Daera needed to be put firmly in his place was unacceptable.

The instance of rogues from Daera's family that Iris has suffered paints clear, more than anything else paints clear who Iris' loyalties are with. Not her family, but coffee shop allegiances forged years ago. As I have previously stated, this is absolutely intolerable; it is something I will never submit to while there is blood in my veins.

The nepotism has gone rife and unchecked for too long, and it is time this cancer is cut out before it consumes us all. It will be remembered as one of the great ironies of our time, Iris, that the blatant favouritism with which you led would eventually lead to your demise.

In summary, the unspoken pact between New York and Philadelphia is a severely negative influence on business in the 7 cities, and it is high time this discrepancy is addressed. Alliances are fine, but when they take precedence over the livelihoods of our own members, something is going desperately wrong.

This left is in an extremely awkward position, we still had one difficult question to answer. The question, of course, regarded the Don of Detroit. She was known to have a personal friendship with one leader, yet was angry and disillusioned with the other. If both of these were warred simultaneously, where would her priorities lie, aiding the defeat of the leader with whom she had differences; or rushing to the aid of her friend?

Ultimately, we decided risk of the latter was too great, and we could not afford needless risks. It is something of a paradox that we felt the death of Marietta, such a positive force in the streets, would eventually lead to a better era for us all.

We truly feel that we are the men who will usher La Cosa Nostra into a new age, and the threat Marietta and her family could pose to our vision was decided to be significant enough for us to remove the threat. It is testament to our opinion of Don Marietta that her friendship with Iris would lead her to fight, and of all the deaths I witness today, this alone will be the one I weep for.

I realise we may not last the day, but if I die, I die fighting for something I believe in. I would die fighting for glory. I would die fighting to right the wrongs of La Cosa Nostra. I would die, most of all, for your mums.

Project Your Mum - In your fat chops.

Wow, where do I even begin?

My father gave you a chance, Branston, even though their bloodlines had never gotten along. He decided he wanted someone who would disagree with him and not back down from an argument.

In doing so, he found someone he could trust, and went out and made you first his captain, then helped you move to be the boss of Chicago.

You want to talk about rogues? Okay, Zulo was someone you trusted and partly on your advice, was promoted to Made Man. So the blame falls partly with you as well. OhCrap, frankly, noone saw coming. To say otherwise is retarded. Scorch and Denver were, actually, punished for the shit that they said. Shocking, I know, but they were. Just ask Yates and he'll tell you endlessly how unfair it was.

Yes, I snapped when half of my captain's crew was HQ'd and YOUR man came into the coffee shops SOLELY to laugh at him and mock him. Maybe if you controlled your people better, I wouldn't have had to threaten him. But, I guess, in the end, any excuse for a power grab is permitted.

You and your ilk have proven today that all you are is conniving little backstabbers who will betray anyone and everyone who trusted them.

So congratulations.

Just massive lol here..

And paying someone in a different family to buy out and kill one of Branston's capos is....something other than backstabbing?

Moron.
Report Post Tip
Hey what can I say, you stab me in the back, I'll go ahead and admit everything. I have no qualms about it.
Report Post Tip
But like, chronologically speaking, you did the backstabbing first?

Yes? No? Gameshow?
Report Post Tip
Considering this has been in the works for a while, I'd have to say that you guys by plotting it committed the first backstabbing.
Report Post Tip
Whereas otherwise you'd have kept your treacherous antics on the down low?

I have only one thing to address here though, I vehemently disagreed with the advancement of Zulo at each and every stage. I repeatedly told your father that he would never re earn my trust, though the decision was ultimately your father's. Eventually, your father was stupid enough to promote Zulo; that was not my failing.
Report Post Tip
Were we incorrect that you were volatile and not to be trusted? Is this just not more evidence of same? Admitted by you ?
Report Post Tip
Stop digging, Daera Jr. You probably shouldn't have admitted that about Riley.

It has made you look like quite the silly bunny, and undone all of your arguments before you have even had the chance to advance them coherently.
Report Post Tip
Plans of the takedown began when you brazenly threatened one of my members, incidentally. You can mark that as the point where your mouth finally wrote a check that your sorry arse couldn't cover.
Report Post Tip
If I was truly volatile, I would have shot Argo and shot Branston myself. In the heat of the moment, I simply said that given his actions, he needed to stay out of New York or I would shoot him.

Was I over the line? Sure. Was he? Absolutely. Do I regret it? The only things I regret were ranking Zulo and now, obviously, making Branston my captain.

I don't even know why you're trying to justify things, at least I have to give you that Branston here was honest when he said it was mostly a power grab.
Report Post Tip
Weren't CP criticised in public by Ipooh's father for whining after the event?

I love irony, me.
Report Post Tip
If I was whining I'd be saying "Wah wah, it's not fair, Squishy they were cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeating!"

Were they right to shoot me? In their minds, sure. Obviously, I disagree, but oh well. They have the power, and whatever their justifications (and at least Branston is honest about his being a power grab) they took the opportunity.

*flexes and poses listeing to Branston speak*

Yes, yes, very interesting, but do you have to use those big Latin words, I mean, its so poserish...and thats MY role.

I mean of course I wholeheartidely support you boss ;)

SunshineButtercup looks at the guy that calls himself The_Narcissist. Suprisingly enough, being a twelve year old, she knew what the big word meant. If you have excessive self love towards yourself, wouldn't you think they'd be a bit prettier. SunshineButtercup twisted her face into a disgusted look. The_Narcissist looked like a bum and he smelled bad. Sunshine loved herself a lot, maybe even more then her pony, but at least she was pretty!

You are killing Mother because she has boobs! You are jealous of her boobs!!!

Noodle smiles and agrees

I knew all along it was those wonderful boobs

*looks with disdain at Sunshinebuttercup, realising as a 12 year old she knows not at all what she is talking about and cannot appreciate a truly handsome man, just her exceedingly ugly boyband idols not a truly masculine, muscular handsome man, snorts and wanders off, knowing that Branston has incredibly good reasons for what he is doing*
Report Post Tip
I wish you would have kept it to:

This is a power grab and we think Jer, tiggy and FP are cunts.

That would suffice :P

*Gets out the popcorn*

fun fun fun.
Report Post Tip
