I don't know you see alot of ranting and raving in these streets and then I heard this. So are you going to kill me for telling you what I think? That is your usual M.O. JamesGandolfini, there was a discussion regarding the statement about what you can and cannot say with certain arguements. As FlyingPig, I believe, pointed out, you are quite easily able to say anything you wish without ruffling too much feathers, depending on your context, choice of words, and general attitude. We, in this era, generally have the freedom to express most of our opinions bar they have weight and do not drift off into nonsensical babble or outright insults towards Mafioso - It all depends on how you carry yourself around the streets. |

A beautiful pair of deadly ladies walks onto the streets and looks around, waiting for people to quiet down. One, an Asian lady with a katana speaks... Well, having come from a long line of veteran war survivors (and non-survivors) I'd like to put in a couple words myself. My father was a Consig in Iris's family. He died in his sleep, a good friend of his in a different family was called in to pull the trigger. My father was the highest rank that my lineage had ever achieved and had put a lot of effort into reaching that rank. So I speak as someone who still mourns over loss--it doesn't do any good for anybody to get rude in these situations. True, I'm not pleased with my father's death, but I still have an obligation to uphold the honor of my family line by not painting the streets with venom and bile. We're mafia members and whether we like it or not, we're all subject to death on a moment's notice, regardless of whether we agree with the reasoning for it. So instead of getting all heated and angry, we ought to be keeping the streets a respectful place. Face it, before the next couple days are done, many of us will be killed again. It's part of life and hopefully we'll have offspring that behave respectfully and uphold the traditions of omerta, family, rank, and honor. Bows and leaves quietly to let the streets erupt again. |

As I stand here listening to the many speeches I cannot help but laugh and ask myself, Why are the aggressors not here.They chose to start a war and leave there families to fend for themselves. Is this the kinda leadership this world needs? I highly doubt it. It reminds me of something my father wrote in his journal.Something about Alessia doing this to her family as well. Where these same leaders not the ones that claimed ill words of Alessia when she did this? Yet they find it okay to do the same to there own? The only leader I see here that showed any dedication to her family is Iris.She has been fighting since the wee hours of the morning and is still treading on in this war to protect her family. So I ask you.Do you respect a leader that leaves his family to fend for his own or one that steps up to the plate for its members |

It's nice to come out in these streets and go oh its for the family but alot has to due with her wanting to live too. I also got to say I don't blame Mont or anyone else for not being here. Hell I left so many times today its not funny. So really I let the family down and myself. But my brothers truck broke down had to pick him up bought beer and went out to eat. Do I blame my leader for having a life lol hell no why would I? |

YinYang, if you thought my speech was venom, you missed the point. In mafia, people die. That is a given. I have no complaint to voice there. My father died. Big deal. I will carry on his name. And when I die, my son will carry on mine. And so on and so on. Branston came in here and stood upon the soapbox and slung mud at Daera and Iris and said that was why he and his pals brought the war upon us. And then he slipped in a small addendum of maybe a little bit of it was "a grab for power." My point was that Branston is not honest. He didn't start the war because Iris and Daera did this or that... He started the war because he wants to rule the world. My speech was a challenge to him to speak honestly and own it. It is a selfish, narcissistic liar who wants to do the dirty deed but lay the blame at someone else's door. If you want to kill everyone, fine. Just be a true mafioso man and tell the truth...Say, "I started the war because I want to rule the world. I don't care who dies as long as I get to be the Boss of this thing we do." See? No need to blow smoke and point fingers... just own it. That's what a real mafioso man would do. Pfft! Aztek, you are so right. Iris has been in the war room fighting like a tiger, and Daera has been at her side. That speaks volumes, doesn't it? Nuff said. |
