I believe not necessarily an archived version of personals, but maybe a search feature through the jumble of personals one may have already, I feel as if sometimes when looking back on situations trying to gather information, it can be quite tedious to try and sort through a million pages of information when the examples you are looking for could be quite easily overlooked.

Maybe a suggestion thread that would implement some sort of a search feature for your personals, rather than an archive feature?... I am sure I'm not the only one who has found himself in a situation where past information that I didn't believe to be vital, became vital :).

While we can go through and simply store said data and make sure it is safely handled throughout our own backup sources, as I stated before, sometimes people may not see certain pieces of info necessarily pertinent until later on.

I propose a search bar just like the search bar on the forums. Being able to search through dates or specific characters in order to pin point a specific event or occurrence.

I would be more in favor of a search bar than I am of this idea, however I'm not really fond of either to be honest. If you want to archive your personals, it is extremely easy to copy and paste them into your back alley or another document altogether without having the game do it for you.

I would be quite keen for a search bar.

I am by nature a slow ass leveller and the amount of time I have wasted searching for when I last got a drug unit because I cant find a sort button that shows it!!!

I dunno. I like the idea of having them all saved some where, per character, by the game, or into a file on your desktop. A search bar would also be useful. 

If you want them saved to a file on your desktop... Create a word document and copy and paste them. It's really simple to save your personals on your own without the game coding it in for you. Back alley, google docs, wordpad etc... If we could alter this to be a search feature, then I'd be more than willing to support it. But I don't agree with it as is.

I think the filters need to be better defined with the auto delete time removed with the length of accounts these days, possibly subcategory's like you select "Victims" then you get say "Kills" "Misses" "BG Kills" ect. I don't see a need to "Archive" them.

I literally don't see what the issue is with just adding a little csv download button like we have with EVERY other feature on this game

You can copy and paste your crew list - but there's a download button.

You can copy and paste your bank transfers - but there's a download button.

You can copy and paste your mails - but there's an archive button. 

but yet we have our most important thing in the game. Our personals. The things that detail every event in the game that we play. But we can't download those! Ironically the other things I just mentioned are much easier to copy paste. There aren't THAT many of them and they aren't THAT important. 

Personals - many have thousands of them by now. Detail every bit of important goings on in our account - but there is no way to archive them other to copy and paste. 

I agree with Flash that a better choice of sorting would be awesome, as he mentioned, sub categories within each already established category.

I also don't see the problem with being able to download your personals, or a search bar, so fully in support of agreeing with this idea.

I support searching and archiving so long as archiving is easy enough. C/P isn't enough sometimes. It's similar to what I've suggested for the Contacts page etc.

Yes but the current categories aren't enough, take drug unit increases for example, they show under all but nothing else not even other so if you want to know when you gained enough points for X rank you have to go through every page of your personals.

Yeah, I would say that additional categories definitely need adding in with this suggestion, or if not, a new suggestion thread being created about it and took through the process itself. All depends on what the summary is we will be voting on.

I wouldn't mind seeing more categories added, but sub categories within categories is going a bit extreme.

So what'll the extra categories be then? We should name them all and then ... that's about it.

Not a real need for extra categories IMO cause it'll be searchable and downloadable...

I'm all for the download option and a search function. New categories may not be needed, but maybe fine tuning of those already there, as was already mentioned there are certain things such as unit increases that are shown in ALL but not any sub category, where as that could be added to the list of "other" things.

I know with a search function that could be made somewhat redundant, but I feel everything should still have its own category even if it is just being bunched into Other.

Does anyone know of other obvious personal events that are held in All but not categorised currently?
