I think I explained my reasons for it not being necessary which is why I did not reply further on this thread, but since you feel I WANTED to rape someone I will give it another go. Secondly, because this seemed like an easy way for guys who do want to 'e-bang' some girl they have met on an imaginary mafia universe. If the sex wasn't specified, well I am sure any female who gets a mail saying 'omg, u so pretteh on your profile pic' can go 'dude, I am a guy RP'ing a chick' all the while letting the people who she thinks fit to know she is a female.

Thirdly, because I am against gender bias of all types. The bias that harms men and the bias that harms women. I am sure if it was specified that a particular character was female, she would get two types of mail. One, The 'Why have you left the kitchen?' mail.
Two, the 'zomg u so cute. I'll buy you bg's if you becum my mr gf <3 '. I know of people who detest both kinds of mail and I know of people who use the second type to actually get ahead in this game.

Hope this has cleared the confusion up as to why I thought this had a misleading title and was a useless change that will add nothing to the game other than a few more reports of sexual harassment....

And also like I said I just got back on the game I didnt played in some longer time and that happened to me to talk with a girl while I thought its male so I didnt watch on what words I use and then felt embarassed when I found out its a girl, so I just writen this thats all. So I just brought this idea up, you can say just you are against it and thats it, you didnt had to go that wide on that theme :/

Also I am not talking about MR girl and cyber sex at all, I kinda prefer it more with girl I actually can be then just empthy words,  so that really wasnt any of my point.

You can just derive whatever sex a person is trying to portray themselves as from their profile... generally. If you wanna ask them, "Hey, are you a dude?" It might take some of the romance out of it, but ... yeah.
