Id like to thank everyone who put forth effort to participate in this wonderful event. While I had planned on participating myself, I wasnt able to finish in time, but over all I believe we had an excellent turn out. Ive listened to everyones tales and greatly enjoyed them. Seeing this kind of buzz occur is rather wonderful. Its something I hope to see continue as we progress.

A lot these stories are fresh to me. They are amazing in the sense of hearing events from another point of view.

To the people who entered the contest, thank you for sharing your stories and your own family diaries from the past decade.

To the people who are judging, the challenge must be overwhelming as all of these are fantastic told stories of our pasts.

Being a member of one of the relatively new bloodlines here, I must say this contest is an eye-opener into the kinds of things that went on way back when.

I must admit, of all the war stories told here, my bloodline had records of only two. Thank you, Satanta, for this contest and thanks to the people who have contributed and thus encouraged lots of participants.

Good luck to those who are judging. I do not envy the position you are in.

I enjoyed reading all the stories, especially the epic classic, I Lick Windows On The Short Bus. Hurry up with a sequel and prequel, please. Thank you to all the participants, prize donators and Satanta for organizing this contest.

Well Silk, that particular one was the hardest one for me to judge. You see, I drive the short bus and, well, when I come upon a roundabout I wind up going round and round until I'm out of gas. By about the 50th circle, they are all licking the windows. :s

I gotta say there is a lot of really good stories in here, can't wait to see who wins it.

There really are some excellent stories. It shows in the deliberations the judges are showing and in how difficult a decision it is for them! (If anyone suggests it's just that they're slow I'll be highly offended and only laugh a little)

Once the final votes are received, the further prizes will be awarded. The final Prize Pool stood at 310 credits, so after the initial entry prizes are given there's 250 credits to be given out. The breakdown for those now stands as:

1st: 50% of credits (125 credits)
2nd: 20% of credits (50 credits)
3rd: 15% of credits (47.5 credits)
4th: 10% of credits (25 credits)
5th: 5% of credits (12.5 credits)

I had considered it BlackFog, but then I had to consider the rules.

Was it MR related? Yesh.
Was it based on a true story? Abso-friggin-lutely.
Was it involving Clause getting shot in the head? It was no longer a topic for debate. He'd earned his payment.

Given the three reasons Satanta just listed I should win this competition hands down. It had everything one needs in a story.

Well, not completely, but enough that the top five places are now mathematically secure so you can bite me if you think I'm dragging this out any longer. In what was a very close competition initially, it was only when the last few votes trickled in that the places were confirmed.

I'd like to thank all of our entrants, even Vince, for their hard work in bringing our stories to life and all of our judges for taking the time to separate what are wonderfully different yet all enthralling tales.

Standing in the corner were nobody was able to see him sulking, Green Tony walked up to the table clearing his throat and wiping away his tears.

Once again, you must have all mistaken my lovely Irish accent terribly. I clearly said that 15% of the 250 was 37.5 credits correctly not 47.5. I'd never make a mistake like that... twice.. in the same discussion.
