Well I guess you are a labour voter. Give yourself a pat on the back you managed to fuck our country up for generations. No doubt you will tell your children it was Maggie or the nasty Tories but if you do remember each time your children tell you a lie and you lecture them on telling the truth just remember. You voted to ruin our country it's firmly on your shoulders and you won't even make them accountable.

I won’t be celebrating her passing, but I won’t be mourning, and I’m not happy that my taxes are funding her funeral when we have the budget deficit. It’s a waste of money and I’d say that whether it was any ex-PM dying.<o:p></o:p></font>

Industry was dying before the Tories came into power.

But hey ho vote labour in the next election. Then Ed Balls can borrow more money and more money and more money. Then not only will our children, our grandchildren and our great grandchildren be left with our debt but probably going back even further.

You assume because Im a Conservative I agree with all her polices, she made mistakes but in the main she made our country great again from the shambles she inherited.

First of all i find it amusing you need an alarm to tell you if you're talking to a fuckwit. Shows how bright you are. Secondly you've turned this into a political debate about partys and what other partys have done. We all know that we'll never please everyone. My main gripe with thatcher is and with the police about The Hillsborough Disaster "The Hillsborough Independent Panel report, published last autumn, revealed Lady Thatcher's reluctance to endorse criticism of the police despite the government being aware of "damning" evidence of their role."

No apology for more than 20 years for Cameron to apologise, who i cant stand but it wasn't his responsibly too.

She never cared when she lied, we don't care that she died.

Thatcher and the majority of her cabinet were two nation, uncaring, spiteful low lives (a couple of notable exceptions). Thatcher herself misused the police and army, both of whom were involved in decidedly dodgy antics when she was in charge.

Her policies devastated swathes of the country, and she deemed it necessary. For that, I agree with George Galloway: may she burn in hellfires (not that I believe such things exist).

However, she died at a ripe old age and in as much comfort as is possible. And you know what? I didn't and won't be celebrating.

If Pat Magee had have pulled the job off in 1984, the world would have been a better place.

Lib Dems are a shambles, yeah :p, but they promised a lot of things at the time that looked like a nice refreshing change. Of course, as history shows they've then gone back on all the pledges they've made and they'll pay for it next time when they get no seats.
