I don't see anything wrong with the creation of this business. It was needed after the war. It's fantastic to see people experiencing success, however I don't feel that it was a bad thing at all. Definitely got people working harder in order to pay back the funds in a timely fashion. I think it shows just how dedicated some of the residents of the cities really are. What LoanShark provided is no different than services provided by your Average Joe loan shark. I'm pretty sure your bloodline has to depend on borrowed money in the past Mr. Gotti. They don't "have" to earn it the "old fashioned way" now, there are other loan sharks out there that are a little more, erm, discrete. |

I suppose that is the lovely thing about our world how we do not have to always agree upon things, especially when they are out of our control such as the gods introducing a loan sharking business to increase money and boost the economy quickly. Plenty of money out there before and after the war but how it is spent and the time in which rebuilding takes which was the issue so it is obvious steps were taken from above for reasons being their own. It seemed to have worked and saved some stress and innocents but then again crews would have set up and money would have started piling up eventually either way.. it always has and always will - because like you said we have a lot of hard working mobsters on our shores and that never changes. |

Considering all that I've read, it actually isn't so bad. Sadly, it closed off and what not. This still would've helped alot of people in the long run. |

| I believe the loan shark came around immediately following a giant war where the mafia economy had been pretty decimated. He offered a service at a time it was needed and then left. | |
