Ever is debatable because it's all a matter of taste. Thst said if I had to pick one band that I think has had a lot of impact for me personally I would pick Queen. Their music is timeless and continues to be used in many places and contexts. Plus I really enjoy listening to them! Freddy Mercury had supernatural vocals.

Queen is definitely the best band ever. No one will ever be as epic as Freddy Mercury. Hes vocals are epic. No band will ever touch bohemian rhapsdoy. Just epic

Best live band I have ever seen (performance wise) has to be muse and coldplay! Not a massive coldplay fan but they put on a hell of a show.

This is a really hard question for me. Not easy at all. In fact I think it's something that real aficionados usually struggle with as the breadth of options is so vast and being asked to narrow it down to just one is tough. But if you put a gun to my head and forced me to choose, I'd probably say either elastic or rubber.

It's not the best band ever, but I only very recently developed an appreciation for Bachman Turner Overdrive. They were one of many obscure Canadian gems in the classic rock scene. Their two best songs, in my humble opinion, are "Let it Ride" and "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet". 

"Let it Ride" has been stuck in my head for about a week now. I think I'll go listen to it.

The best band ever is Soundgarden.

I’ve listened to a lot of shinedown over the past few years. I even went and saw them in concert and they are amazing there. They are a very talented band with a very good message. Highly recommend.
