Silky lights a cigar and a cigarette and smokes both simultaneously. I broke Rourkey out and one of his guards slipped while chasing us, accidently bj-ing Rourkey as I was jb-ing him. The whole thing ended with a Polish bike ride and now we all exchange Christmas cards. |

This is sad. PostMan, if you want to thank someone for busting you out, go for it. But, to come to the Streets asking for everyone to be kind and loving to each other after sitting in jail with Bubba for some amount of time is fucking absurd. If you wanted a "thank you" for everything you did, you shouldn't have joined the Mafia. Skips off |

| Well "AL" maybe you need a lesson in giving and recieveing. Even a gangster can be polite and thankful to the people around him. | |

| I feel the same. It just seems rude to not say thank you. | |

Loefah decides the time is ripe to step into this conversation Personally i dont really think that there is a requirement to thank a person who has busted them out. Sure it is the nice and polite thing to do but are we here to be nice and poilte? I think some people are forgetting this is the Mafia and not some kids club where we all have to share and play nice. Don't forget when you are busted out that the person who has done it will already have recieved a reward, an increase of their reputation. Eventually if they bust enough people out their boss may hear about it and reward them with a place in their family. In comparison to this don't you think a small note of thanks seems rather superfluous? |

Its being respectful Loefah. We are the mafia, but since when does the mafia not have manners? we are not street thugs here, we are the Mafia. We are respectable criminals. We show respect and are polite to those who we have no problems with. If there is no tension between my family or even me, and person "A" and his family, then I will show respect and be polite. How would you like it if you put in all that effort, thinking, and your own freedom, into busting someone out of jail, and they just keeping walking without a word? no thanks, no gratitude. All your effort is met with silence. Everyone who's been to jail knows what its like, a thank you is the least you can do. |

BlackVampire whilst people may bust me out of jail, i also bust others out of jail and do not expect thanks. I imagine the majority of people do not expect to be thanked when they bust someone out. As i previously stated someone who busts you has already gained his reward with recognition from their boss, is that not enough? |

To all that are wondering, Yes the extra we all get from breakouts is a good thing. But as a few you have said we are gangsters, mafia, crimanals dear I say bad people. Well then on the other hand if I cannot exspect a thankyou from busting people out of jail, as simple as it is. Then none of you should mind if your pockets are picked or that you are shot. After all were are just thugs living on the hard streets. DUH! DUH! DUH! So next time a friend is gunned down or his pocket is picked, I guess you all will not say anything. Heck yes you would / It is part of what we do / So is being polite to those that help you. |

Seriously? If you pickpocket or shoot someone that is a violent action and obviously a serious disrespect to that person/family. Can you really compare that to merely not saying thankyou to someone. To be honest i dont believe that is a valid comparison. Its up to the individual whether or not you want to thank someone, there are no rules daying you have to thank someone but there are rules saying you shouldnt shoot someone except in certain situations. |

I think the idea of thanking every person who busts you out is a wonderful idea, in theory. And admittedly, the thank-you notes that I receive do make me feel good. However, the practicalities of thank-you notes far outweigh any buzz. I would spend so much time thanking the people who BMO, that I wouldn't be able to return the favour and bust them out when they get caught. And, as others have mentioned previously, the sheer number of messages received would kill any buzz, and just get freaking annoying. /end two-cents-worth |

| Perhaps we should all try mailing Postman on a daily basis thanking him for posting this thread. Perhaps we should even thank him every time that we walk into the street and see his post. It is an honour after all? | |

DJ screeches with pain as a passing samaritan stabs his but with an OOCitis innoculation erm, I meant, of course, to say "starting this conversation" and "hear his voice". I don't know what came over me. Now if you will excuse me I need to try to determine who innoculated me so I may thank them... |

| People are thnkful for what is done, but it happens so often because a lot of usewrs are in and out of jail so frequently tht it is hard to keep up eith thanking everyone ecspecially during JB parties. Just remember a good deed never goes unoticed. | |

When I thank people I simple wait for when the jail is over and when and if I was put in during the confusion That is when I take the time to thank people. By know means do I exspect anyone to do it during the jail time (that would be silly). Heck I have even taken a couple of days to thank people before. People this was just a thought had I like to be thanked / some people don't. We are all allowed to voice an opinion here so thanks for your time and your replies. |
