| New Orleans? | Started by: TonyViazzi on Feb 05, '09 18:53 |

Dressed elegantly in a silk three piece suit, TonyViazzi dined among friends at a local restaurant in Sin City. All present at the dinner were in some way or another connected to Tony through his "business endeavors". After eating their meals the group got to discussing the recent bloodshed throughout the nation, which organized crime is being blamed for. Yeah, no shit it causes a lot of heat. responds Viazzi after a comment made by one of his cohorts. The Capo takes a long drag from his smoke and slowly exhales before speaking. Now the big question is, what the fucks going on which New Orleans then?? asked the notorious Vegas gangster. Viazzi's associates were all stunned, the comment left them all with nothing to say. The conversation eventually moved away from the topic, but the same question started popping up all around Las Vegas. In a few hours time the word had moved throughout different criminal circles, and was prevalent in each of the cities. |

At the very same dinner, KingOfOnePercent offered his opinions on the matter both eloquently and tatcfully; even if he did seem at times distracted over whether the valets were taking good care of Toto, his three wheeled unicycle and ride of choice. Well, if y'ask me it's a unique situation. Normally, I'd say to the victors go the spoils but in this case, have we seen any victors? The ceasefire brokered between Don Ghost and Don Muqtada before his untimely death would suggest not, as would Don Ghost's total lack of public statement on the matter. That being said, if not Don Ghost's city, as the aggressor of the war, then to whom does it belong? In a situation such as this, is it appropriate that N'awlins becomes a vacant city, one that each Leader has an equal stake an say in? I'm sure this issue will be much deliberate behind due doors Tony; though I commend you bringing this issue to the fore to enable a more public digestion. |

| Well, if no one has the stones to claim it, I claim inheritance rights. | |

| A valid point Sayyid, all this loss of life and profit seems rather needless and even insulting if no one at all is willing to even stake a claim to the Big Easy! | |

Indeed KingOfOnePercent. In the absence of someone stronger telling me the city has left my family's possession through brute force, I can only assume it is still my city by right of inheritance. If such a thing does not happen, I will be authing someone in my city on my authority as owner, rank be damned. People need to own up to their actions. The difference between men and boys is one of responsibility for what you do. |

Thank you, Munchkin. Maxie warmly hugged the widow then turned towards the crowd of spectators. Everyone please visit my petting shop in New Orleans. It'll soon be renamed The Maxie and Mike Love Shack. |

I'm not going to make my own statement, as most know what happened anyway. But I'll publicize the issue on New Orleans right here. Technically, no one won the war. I did not take Muqtada down, he died by an accident. It could be argued that he would not have taken this precaution leading to his death if not for my actions directly opposing his, but I will not take a city that I did not earn 100%, therefore I see it as a vacant city unless I'm told otherwise. This is the way I was taught. |

Maybe Sayyid should give it to someone, or I could just take it, but only if allowed. Maybe two people in the city whose bloodlines have not seen auth. Aftershock perches up. Just my two bits. |

Oh I know! How about we auth five, seven, or nine more crewleaders to cohabit the city? (I hate even numbers.) Is there anyone left over the rank of Made Man who isn't already headed to the tailor shop for a bold suit? If so, I think Sally the Seamstress is going to be working some overtime. Actually, forget about the auth part. It doesn't mean anything anyway. Hows the clam chowder here in this street cafe? |

Personaly, I think this is an easy one. If a Don was to die in peace time, if we can call it that, then his eldest or most trusted son would inherit the family business and carry on as his father did. If said Don was to die and his son was too young to be entrusted with the runnings of the family on a day to day basis, then I would assume that the Right Hand man or another extremly trusted member of the family would take over control of the business and the city until the rightful heir was to return. Perhaps the second in command/stand in Don would even be so wise as to prepare Don's son for office by teaching him the ways of his family business as the Right Hand. But only when he was done with his schoolwork! This just seems the most logical reaction |

Some of the more congested cities could possibly move some crews there, call it expansion, or a new family all together? Or someone RESPECTED and DESERVING can be given auth to start a new there. Worst comes to worst..Mr. Phanton-Ghost should just have an auction and sell it to the highest bidder. |

-Rusko- is right, it should go back to the original crew in New Orleans to the most trusted member of the leader. Any other crew leader getting involved in my opinion would be actions of war. Either same crew or war time is back ( I hope the latter isn't the case) Stebzino goes back to smoking some reefer |
