The main problem here is communication or lack of communication that is why you have a Crew Leader anything involving your gun training you should talk to your HSL or your CL. To avoid situations like you have found yourself stuck in. With these stealthy BG shooters running around shooting these overpaid bums that provide our protection you cant really fault your Crew Leader thinking that you was one of them if provided information saying you shot at BGs. |

In every single crew I suspect there will be a set of "rules". Contained within these rules is likely to be the command that you DO NOT shoot at peoples bodyguards unless ordered to do so by your leader. Your friend is not your leader. He or She may have given their permission, but that doesn't mean you have the permission of your leader. Simply put, the permission from your leadership is not only to prevent people from being "bad", but to protect you. Had you sought the permission from your leader after the supposed friend gave theirs, then there would be zero issue to contest as you would have already made your case before taking the shot. Not doing so left you open for the person to be a dick, which clearly in the above case they have been. Lesson learned for you really, don't trust anyone and always ensure that your actions are OK with those who matter, e.g. your boss. |

Seems like there are some very good sources here giving you some very good information. So, not to beat a dead horse..er Zombie any further.. This world is full of tricks and deception it's how some maneuver their ways through the political scheme of things and through the ranks. It's unfortunate but it exists and happens more often than you'd hope to believe. Lesson learned, Cover Your Ass and do not do anything that would seem fishy to anybody, in which would lead to your demise. Perception is reality, and most will act and ask questions later. Best of luck to you. |

Walking down 47th and Lincoln he notices a small crowd gathering around a young mobster who was in the streets speaking in the direction of the crowd.. As I get closer I can hear her every word and I cough deeply as just across the street a courthouse was on fire In our business the only court and jury and decider is your leader and Godfather. While the reasoning for your friend changing their mind about you shooting their BG's or whatever happened is between you guys and definitely sucks ..It all comes down to earning trust and the position we put those who are responsible for us in with our actions. If I trust somebody and they have earned the right to be given a chance.. AND I can give them a chance.. I will hear them out - but that comes with time and trust.. City rules.. Crew rules.. anything is flexible if you play your cards right in our world. I mean it is a the mob and we love money and crime. But I spend the majority of my day in the casino so I know not many of the facts of this exact situation and every detail makes a difference. |

I do agree with others here, the more your CL knows (in most cases) the better off you are... But then again I do also believe some explanation should be sought out, and a fair trail should be given to everyone in most cases, but then again this is the mafia lifestyle.... In this particular case you put your crew leader in a tough situation and he had to make the tough choice.. I'm almost for certain the decision didn't come easy, but as a strong CL you have to stick by the rules you set fourth |

If this was genuine and Zombie's 'friend' had said it was okay, why did Zombie not speak to their crewleader about it beforehand? I mean, if it's honest and allowed, why hide it? Everybody knows that every single shot we take has a witness of some sort - why would Zombie not give their leader a heads up to not worry if they saw that message unless they had something to hide? You talk about trials and providing tangible evidence to alleviate their guilt, but I would say to you that their behaviour screams guilty without even needing a trial. |

There is no 'guilt' at hand, DS. This was a result of OOC resentment. |

So you are saying that Zombie gave their crewleader and their friends crewleader a heads up that the shots were going to happen? I mean, if a friend of mine said I could shoot their bodyguards the very first thing I would do is clear it with the people above me, to avoid causing anyone any hassle and to make sure I don't get in trouble for something I had been told I was allowed to do. Unless of course I didn't actually have permission and was trying to hide it, in which case I wouldn't mention anything to anyone. |

No, she did not. Her fault I guess. I am not in the "Auth Club" so I knew I'd die for it - just didn't expect a friend to betray me. |

The issue here (and i know first hand as i dealt with it) goes beyond the one single shot that we found you did. I have been gathering 60 sec lists for while now, (apologizes if this does go OOC -its hard to rp in) every time a bg shot was taken we gathered the list of people walking the streets at that that specific time. Your mother was on those lists for 6/9 shots taken. Further more, the bg shots started the minute she turned earner. To add to that we confirmed from her on crew leader that she was also a stealthy person. I thoroughly believe that you had taken much more shots than the one we caught, that would be a very fair assumption base off the in tell gathered. As most know, thats all we can do with bg shooters, it is based off process of elimination, unless we outright see you, which we did. As for your apparent authed shot(s) i call bullshit, unless you can prove otherwise. I have spoken to the person involved who "knew nothing about it at all" What you did was wrong, no matter how pretty its dressed, it was wrong, you where caught, you have to accept your punishment. |

I have screenshots of a telecommunication text providing authorization. As for your BG shooting allegations, I believe YOU of ALL PEOPLE should understand that is straight BS. Especially from a lineage of notorious BG shooters. |

I'm just going to throw my quick 2 cents in here. First of all it pained me to see what happened to Zombie. While she seemed to prefer the flesh of the living, she was a good person. In this case, I will say I think this could have been avoided by having the person wanting removal of their protection to have notified your Crewleader before you started doing it. This would have eliminated any question. But I don't believe that's what this discussion is really about. I think in general things are handled correctly. Even if Zombie would have been put on trial, what proof could she have given from a verbal agreement? Most decisions in this world require a quick response especially in cases of people losing protection. With all of that said I think you may have an idea. Let's all be honest here. If you took the persons gun away in this situation instead of shooting, the chance for them to continue to create destruction drastically falls and you get a chance for an explanation.
Why couldn't/shouldn't get a chance to explain themselves before decisions are made? |

If so, then id like to see them, in private. As for my linage, that has fuck all to do with you, none what so ever. Id advise you to star clear here, ironically though, your linage isnt paved in gold, is it? You shot ore bgs than the one you where caught with, it really is that simple and one day, knowing you and your ego, it will come out and i'll be correct. If you could be a dear and find me those logs, i appreciate that. |

That shots were verified. According to the shot taken only a SINGLE attack was documented. That photograph verifies the legitimacy of the ONE proveable shot. According to my mother's records.. the other attackers were unidentified. |
