A Question to the Masses Started by: HailTheDead on May 09, '14 13:54

Zombie died because out of a log of shots at Mayhem's protection. A single shot revealed her name. The above photograph shows that shot was authorized by the employer of said bodyguards. As for failing to notify her crew leader, she is at fault. Is that punishable by death?

Given a chance these documents could have proved it was an agreed upon move.

Foxxy couldn’t help but laugh at the discussion she was currently listening to

“For god’s sake, this is the mafia not the lets all hold hands and have a tea party group. Your kin was doing something she knew she shouldn't be doing and was punished for doing it.”

Report Post Tip

You are right. Just showing that she wasn't a rogue BG shooter and keeping her legacy from being tarnished. She was given permission through outside communications and acted impulsively. Not a crime deserving of death.

Report Post Tip

In that situation Forever_Sexy I'd fully expect to see the person bought out of their crew, in a bold suit, with a protection wack guarding them, an armory bought and a gun instantly back in their hands ready to do damage since they know they've been caught out.

Anyway - HailTheDead... you have failed to answer any of my questions, which just makes me think you have no good answers; leading me to believe you in fact know that Zombie didn't have permission and was in fact entirely guilty. If however, you want to try and convince me and others otherwise, please provide answers to these questions which I asked previously.

Number one - If this was genuine and Zombie's 'friend' had said it was okay, why did Zombie not speak to their crewleader about it beforehand?

Number two - if it was honest and allowed, why hide it?

And please don't say "Because I thought they were my friend". That is absolutely not valid. You know the way of this world, you know messages go out to peoples families when their bodyguards are shot at. You are intelligent enough to know that by not saying anything, you would put everyone on alert and a countrywide bodyguard shooter hunt, so the only reason I can see for you not saying anything is in fact that you were hiding it because you weren't actually allowed.

Report Post Tip

No matter how much you grieve and complain about the action taken against your mother, it will not be reversed..she's come back from the dead once and unfortunately this time is rather permanent. You're not going to find any sort of satisfying response from anyone out here on the streets. Really, she's dead, a goner and you have to move on.

Report Post Tip

I will add this and stop. I don't do posthumous grief complaints. This was simply a question searching for constructive criticism.

Las Angelinas? Was a crew of bodyguard killers that were targeting DT/NY .. I single handedly stopped it. I did all I could to stop the mass hysteria. I was not a part of it... but knew them personally.

Report Post Tip

DeadlySin, I completely agree that this option could be taken.  But if it was then at that point wouldn't that person be relinquishing their rights to a trial and should be shot at instantly.

I know this has moved to a discussion of what Zombie did wrong, and I don't know that Hail is really disagreeing that they could have done things differently.  I do think it is an interesting idea to let people have a chance to have this discussion, in private, before a decision is made.

Especially in this case.  If Zombie's gun had been taken instead of shot maybe a few heads could have gotten this info and decide what action to take.

I agree that sometimes an instant decision is necessary to make.  But maybe in this case and some others a bit of time and discussion could have been helpful.

Report Post Tip

I see your point, but in a situation like this I'd have to say that personally I would've killed the person straight away too. The offender has already proved they are willing to risk their lives by attacking other people, letting them know that they have been caught can only spark escalated aggression - and would probably cost at least one person their life along with causing a lot of hassle even if they don't manage to land a shot on someone.

Hail - you clearly do posthumous grief complaints. That's what this entire thing was, one big posthumous complaint. Interesting that you'd back out of this now though, especially as I now know that your crew has a very specific rule about not shooting the bodyguards of living people. So in actual fact we can disregard every single thing in this entire debate, as it's pretty clear cut that even if you did have permission you had knowingly broken your own crewleader's rules without a second thought.

Report Post Tip

like many my thoughts are

1. Tell the boss and the persons boss about the agreement would be a general thought so can be run by them too.

2. Why pay to shoot bgs when so many unemployed durden bodyguards around.

3. Like others, if someone suddenly took my gun, i would be all wtf or if told i am gonna die for something i feel i am not guilty.  I would

probably shoot the other party to the agreement on bg shooting.

The truth is we live in a dangerous world where decisions are made on the spot, if a relationship is known between people i would study something harder as the truth is there are all sorts of scum in the world traitors, oath breakers, liars, cheats and stirrers.  You won't see most of them till is too late, but thats the business we are in.  Sometimes is not the loyal or most hard working that live longest, sometimes is the most devious and manipulative.

In all honestly is an issue i am glad i did not have to deal with, after recently watching people from the same families duelling, bg stealthers, random wackers and people some of the malicious rumours that are created by others, i just turn my head, walk off usually and be glad it doesn't involve me and mine.

Report Post Tip

My mother was at fault. Simply invoking some thought.

Report Post Tip

In the end, i will never, ever believe that you took only one shot, that is utter bull shit! just because we only caught one doesn't mean you're far from innocent, you know it, i know it and i don't give a toss who else thinks they know different. You were bg shooting, its simple. Even if it you were given the chance to explain i still would have expected your death, nothing less.

Given the fact that we had sent numerous ws regarding bg shooting yet you didn't have the decorum to come forward and say, "actually OJ, that was me, it was an authed shot from a mate" Yet you knowingly let this hysteria continue, and in my books, tht makes you just as guilty as you would be if in fact you was bg shooting. So your admission is lost on me!

Report Post Tip

space-to-the-pole, give it a rest. It's over. You have no evidence - you are speaking theory rather than fact.

Report Post Tip

Anyone who has dealt with bg wackers knows that, that is all we CAN go on. W e have killed many people over he years by this method, and 99% of time we were correct. You got caught. Dont tell me to give it a rest when you force the subject even more by coming out here. You could have easily took it on the chin and moved on.

Your line never knows when to quit, so be as you may, im done, ive said my piece. You're still and will always be an idiot.

Report Post Tip

You're still and will always be a BG shooter and liar.

Report Post Tip

Bg shooter? really? please prove to me in the last two/three years i have done anything that i shouldn't have? They're pretty big accusations for a nobody and because i have you caught out. You'd be wise to watch your tongue, young one!

Report Post Tip

Caught out? You have 0 tangible evidence linking me to anything other than an authorized shot by the employer of those bodyguards. I can name about 10 active players, hands and crew leaders right now who are actively stealthing bodyguards. Nothing of PROOF on you but I got some proof on others. Just shut it down and go to sleep. If I had 7000 credits - I'd be authed too.

Report Post Tip

We have never ever had tangible evidence for the people we have killed, we have had consistent evidence with a tried and trusted methods, that has and will always be good enough. If you can name them, have he fucking balls to do it don't hide in the shadows like you have done. PROOF is not a necessity, it has never been that way, were bg shooters are concerned. You'll find no proof on me, love. Im far from stealthy.

You may mock, I've earnt my bones in this world, so try to belittle me all you like, but know this, you're a small time know body, you'll do well to remember that. Now im done, good day.

Report Post Tip

space-to-the-pole, you shouldn't have lashed out like that. Regardless of what you've done for or in the game, this was a really REALLY bad look. It didn't need to go this far.

Report Post Tip

On the contrary, Kal-El.

I support Space to the Pole's comments entirely and feel he was well within his rights to put Hailthedead in their place.

This man brought up the bloodline of Space and tried to tar him as some sort of bad apple, where as Space is far from that. Sure, perhaps there may be things long ago his bloodline has done, I dont know, I certainly can't think of anything and i've known him for a very long time, but even if there were its not relevant to right now.

Report Post Tip

Kal-El, sometimes its a necessity to lower yourself, this time was one of them.
