Drea, for the exact same reason I've already mentioned several times in this thread already. I'm not repeating myself again. Enaento, I genuinely thought he was trolling which is why I asked. Disagreeing with people and debating with them is not trolling. I will admit that I am acting like a bit of an ass because when someone makes the same point six thousand times with no justification it gets on my nerves. I'm not against things that actually denote gender being changed. I am against changing the names of ranks, because ranks are ranks, not gender. |

I'm just going to leave this thread alone, it feels like three people who don't really have a sense of how the game works all trying to push for a change on something they don't fully understand. I still believe there should be some sort of change to how people are talked to by the NPCs of the game, as to make it more realistic, a "their, them" change or a "He, she." change would both work. There's nothing left to say here without someone looking foolish in the end, and I think we should all just leave it alone until an admin comments on the situation. |

| I would guess the original thought here is that real women in this real world feel slighted by constantly being ignored, or referred to as male. It makes the game less fun, less interesting, and all around annoyed. I don't care how things were in the 20's or so, I am playing this game now, and it makes it very difficult to for me to really get into character. | |

This game is based on stories written 100 years ago, and not today's stories. Was there a chance for a female to become godfather 100 or 70 years ago? No. So if we want to be realistic,the highest rank for female account should be wise guy. And it would need more xp to reach there, because the society at this time worked like that. It wasnt easy for a woman to stand between men, are all women in this game prepared to live this thing again? |

What a ridiculous suggest this is. Like Eric has stated many times already as have others. These are ranks and not titles. As a female player I'd want to one day achieve the rank of GODFATHER. In no way do I see it as gender specific. For me it's a rank, an achievement. If it got changed to Godmother it think it would look and sound silly, like some fairy tale character. No thank you. Same goes for Wise Guy. If this feature got implemented I'd mark my self as a male player so if I ever got it I'd be a Godfather but would maintain to role play as the female I am. To appease the people who find the use of him, his, he throughout the game troubling and difficult to role play with (dunno how it makes it difficult since you don't rp with the game you rp with other players) then like others have suggested I guess use of more generic terms like their, they and what not could do. |

| It's extremely disturbing to me that anyone, especially a female has respect for the term Godfather, but considers the word Godmother to be somewhat of a joke. Just because a term is female, it does not mean it is silly, weak, or incapable. I am a female, and I am proud of it. | |
