Here is my two cents. If you are the father of a family you make the choices for that family. To an extent, this is not a democracy. This is a way of life.

To respond to Persian's response:

"There's a chap in Germany at the moment with the very same idea as you Mr Pollitt. Adolf Hitler I think his name was. He believes that you should pre-empt when someone is going to commit a crime. Some think he's paranoid, some think he's intelligent for introducing it. I'm a fan of the former, that he's a bit paranoid. Were I in your position, I would give the chap every opportunity to prove himself and gain your trust, but I'm a very trusting individual. "

I can understand the reasoning here. But the situation is quit different. First we choose the family to be in. As a member of a family I was not forced to join and do the things I do. It is my responsibility to make sure the family knows that I am completely "here" and there is nothing else.

Now with that being said, I have never lead a family. But if I was to ever get the chance and someone made me feel uneasy about what is going on. Well, to be completely honest, I would be putting together some concert shoes for them. I have to agree with Frankie_Gogolak 9/10 of the time your instincts are right.

So I guess that is for like 4 or 5 cents.

There's a much simpler solution to the problem, gentlemen. One that doesn't come with any sort of moral ambiguity. Cut him loose. It's your family, give him the boot. Then, he's someone else's problem. More than likely, he'll get himself killed in short order, but you didn't do it.

The saying, "You're innocent until proven guilty" comes into play in my opinion. How does one just judge and say "I know he's going to do something, o I know it!"? Its just too hard to do that. For me personally that is. I'm a businessman and as I think as one, I think about the future. If an Associate hasn't done anything wrong, there's no need to punish. There hasn't been a pattern of mischief yet. Unless his bloodline says otherwise.

Luckily for us "innocent until proven guilty", along with the rest of the legal system, means exactly squat with regards to how any of us runs our business. In my opinion, if a boss looks at someone at decides he can't be trusted, that guy's gone. Judge, jury, and executioner.

Bin that one for future use then, from now on, shoot the fucker whether it's hypothetical or not. It seems Ezekiel had quite the ironic sense of humour, not that it was funny at all.

To be honest what concerns me is that your coming to the streets to look for advice from us "just in case a situation presents its self?? thats a tad bit worrying, your the leader of your ship shouldn't you know how to deal with these situations or at least confide in your RHM or LHM that is part of their job description not coming to the streets and taking advice off any joe.

But i will assume your trying to start a debate so answering your question (which involves my first point), your the friggin boss! Someone looks at you wrong or addresses you wrong you can do what the fuck you like!

You don't like someone for some reason fuck it blow his brains out no questions asked. If you like that he earns you money keep him on a leash and order someone to watch his moves, its not rocket science. Your not his friend he is not yours he is probably not even an "associate" as you put it, he is just someone trying to prove himself to you and not you deciding whether its a morale thing to keep him do or not. You should be concerning yourself with more important things like politics with the other head honcho's and leave your RHM and LHM come to and present the cases and then you just give the OK to action it.

Your situation is understandable, so many new faces sign up to this game everyday that you never know what their intentions are, I would have a sit-down and do some probing and see where this feeling of yours is and how this guy makes you feel that way, if you still feel the same after the talk, then let your gut guide you, but he deserves a fair shot at this just like everyone else. Just my opinion, you ultimately have to decide either way.
