Quite frankly, Some times the reasons given are the reasons war's happen.

CTL pissed other godfathers off, he didn't respect their opinions and showed a lack of diplomacy that more then crossed the line into being rude, specially where Vash was concerned. Most CL's don't make requests like "Don't invite him please" lightly, and it shows a massive disrespect that CTL not only let him stay, but proceeded to protect him after Vash informed Cristiano that he was going to shoot BG's.

We've seen a fair number of BG shooters of late and, while I cant speak for everyone, I dont like loosing BG's. We dont need that sort of person being, not just housed by, but also protected by another GF. That Almost makes it seem like CTL was proclaiming "I'm supporting rogues! Join me!" Almost seems like he's encouraging a destabilization of this thing of ours.

Further more, someone from within CTL's district was mailing CL's telling them CTL was getting ready to attack the 303? I'm sorry, but if an individual steps forward and says Someone is going to attack my family and I'm already looking at this Someone sideways after being told that this guy who was threatening to go around shooting BG's was being protected by that same Someone... Well, I don't know about most of you, but I for one would step forward and protect my family.

Through our mutually beneficial relationship, we grow, gain honor and, tend to become good friends with those around us in the crew, and so forms the family unit, either as a district, or one small crew.

How does this lead to everyone dying in a war? Its simple, If a CL trusts you enough to welcome you into his inner family, to give you a Made pin, then this shows the world that you should be loyal to said CL, weather you are or not, you can debate in the grave, but I personally wouldn't take some made man in after a war with their late family unless there was a Really good story.

So, Long story short, CTL died because he took in a self proclaimed rogue as well as a few other matters. and the Made mans pin makes you a target mid war.

My father recently died and I'm not out here to bitch and moan. The people in power are there cause they do what every powerful group has done in the past. THEY TAKE OUT POTENTIAL THREATS TO THEM. It's gone on for generations and there is nothing wrong with that. All powerful groups fall eventually it's the circle of life. I commend the people at the top it's not easy to build what they have built and they should be looked at as something to look up to regardless of there methods. When a man named Roman ruled this world the same bitching was going on. I say if you don't like it then instead of bitching in the streets do something about it. Whilst I have no real comments on the why's and where's of the takedown on Corktown, the random shite which has been blurted through 90% of the debate is pretty disrespectful on the dead, IMO.

If people agree/disagree and want to have the discussion, fine. Why do we need to see all the other stuff which has no relation to the topic?

I wouldn't know for sure obviously, but I am curious how much of this could have been avoided had the original request not to invite Vash been honored. 'Do not invite' requests are not uncommon, and are usually adhered to out of respect for the leader making the request. Sometimes there is a lapse of communication and an invite is sent out to the thug in question, but these situations can usually be rectified very easily and amicably. It would appear that this wasn't the case, and CristianoRonaldo took this as a slap in the face. All other things aside, sometimes disrespect is all the reason needed to take up arms.

I remember once upon a time a city being taken out because a Godfather didn't wish another Godfather a happy birthday. True story. It happens. Obviously Cristiano had more serious concerns which led him to his final decision to remove them, but it all started with that initial disrespect. With all due respect to those that were killed in the takedown, anyone who doesn't understand why their mothers and fathers were killed rather than spared as a result of the reasons CristianoRonaldo gave is probably in the wrong line of work and doesn't understand the mafia.
