| Man I watched a BBC movie this year in North Korea.. its fucked.. they teach the kids in school that the USA is to be hated and is to blame for everything, no joke... among other things like a 12 year old girl sang a song to her class in the movie about how communism is the best.. :/ | |

It's the spoiled sibling of South Korea that has a 'government' that can't manage to feed and keep its own people alive. Of course those people have already been brainwashed, so except for a few, they all accept it and love the Great Leader. South Korea's had a Sunshine Policy towards the North, which meant that they'd send food and other useful shit over to them free of charge. It also meant that Seoul (the capital of the South) would bend over and take it in the ass whenever the North felt like it. This changed with the new right wing president that was voted in last year who's playing hardball. Naturally Pyongyang is pissed and every few months comes up with another empty/stupid threat about this or that. Also amusing is the fact that S. Korea's official title in the United Nations is the Republic of Korea while the North's si Democratic People's Republic of Korea. also /thread. |
