I hardly played as you can see me way down on the list! I just felt bad for friends who did! Anyway! I guess we can't voice our opinions or else were children who want a bigger gold star or something! I thought Curtis Satanta and Catbug came across as very respectful! You not so much Mr Deadly! You'll be on the naughty list this year! Merry Christmas!! |

Yes, rewards can mean more to some than others, that doesn't mean people should be coming out to bitch and moan that they didn't get what they wanted. That is childish behaviour entirely, and everyone knows it. Also yes, people can voice their opinions, but I hardly think calling something a 'kick in the teeth' and whatever else was said was fair at all. Paul, don't condescend me, and don't talk crap. I defended the prize that was given out in an event that is being held for free for all the users, how on earth do you presume that I am the one in the wrong here? CatBug, I appreciate your generosity. Merry Christmas to you too! Also on a side note Carlos_Hathcok, crewleaders (at the time) were called into a meeting where the prizes for this were discussed. The OC perk was specifically asked for. |

No one here is demanding or even asking for rewards to be taken back but if someone puts effort and time on something they should be allowed to come out and share their opinion, being bad or good, on the event and its rewards. I dont see childish behavior here, I just see you claiming that it is... Anyways, you're welcome DeadlySin :D Hope you enjoy! |

Not sure anyone has said the "prize wasn't good enough". It looks to me like most were simply agreeing with my original statement, one I firmly stand by. Some of the previous prizes, which were awarded for luck based or non effort based tasks, would be valued far higher by the user base than the OC perk is/was. Perhaps that's a subjective matter, but I'd be pretty confident that +90% of the userbase would agree if given the choice there. The comments are intended as a "it'd be great for future events to see the events that require leg work and strategy to succeed in providing the more valuable rewards". Nowhere was a "omg this prize suckz" comment even suggested never mind made. When the prize provided for ~10 minutes work (or less, if you got lucky or had a quick idea) is valued higher than one provided for teams putting in +60 hours... something feels wrong. If the team there are happy with it as is, super. Stick with it. People are loving the event. If the team there disagree with my comments and suggestions, super. Ignore them. Lots of others disagree with me all the time. If the team agree with the feedback as provided, super. Build it into the allocations for future events based on the comments of a few users with a view on it. It's a novelty event where we're all here to have fun. I'm not complaining about prizes, I genuinely couldn't care less about them. I'm suggesting ways for future events to be even better and avoid a concern that is there. Sometimes being overly defensive isn't a good thing if people are just providing open and honest feedback. There's no insults being thrown from this side of the fence, just genuine comments that I (and I'm sure others) still completely agree with. Given the people involved... if it was announced before the competition that the prize for winning was 0.00000001 credits I'd still have been trying to beat Eeepz and Mikus to the win. Just as I'm sure they'd both have still spanked my ass at it. Anything else like prizes is just candy sprinkled over the fun. |

yes ds, a lot of ideas were put forward at the meeting which was hastily arranged and hard to get everyone into due to their schedules. i was at work myself but attended the tail end, my idea of what was wanted more was purchasable perks where i entered late and increased % for adrenaline wad being discussed also. Also person to person different things will be wanted especially as even the recent cl activity shows the range of play types, times and styles we have at present. Same as leadership changes as we have seen a fair bit of since the meeting, which not all leaders attended. Don't feel is a personal attack, is just three people can want three different things, three different ways. We both been round long enough playing to know how things work. |

Stop the events then, stop the hard work and planning that goes into them, admins stop trying to make things fun to break the monotony of every day mafia life. Stop with the spoon feeding, stop rewarding people for stuff(regardless of effort vs actual reward)
While your there, stop the copious amount of durden spawns. Jesus to holy fuck guys, stop being a bunch of ignorant, ungrateful twats! im almost certain that the calibre of people who play these mafia games would want to win it just for spoils, that's the kinda people we're, no matter if you choose to accept it or not. Your constant complaints about not getting enough reward vs the effort you put is utter bullshit, you guys get rewarded more than you should anyway.
Get over it, and get over your selfs, tis the only remedy, unless admins stop trying to create some fun. Hate on me all you like, but you all know its true. |

No, we don't know it's true at all Space Pole. In fact, I disagree with you completely. Nobody is complaining about the events. The events are super. Nobody is complaining about prizes. Prizes are a free gift and if there were zero prizes we wouldn't be 'losing' anything. We're providing feedback that the level of prize given for an event that took actual effort and a little strategy is a lower quality than the prize given for purely luck based events. That's a statement of opinion, a subjective one. It's not a complaint, it's feedback to take into account for future events if the team wish to take it onboard. If they don't, fine. No skin off my nose at all. If it is taken on board, even better. I really ain't all that pushed about it one way or the other.... but if you, or anyone, tries to write off my feedback as bitching, whining or selfish complaining I will have to defend it. That isn't the case, it isn't what I said or did and trying to twist my words into that will always get a (if you know me, a very strong) reaction. Address the points I raised if you wish, that'd be great. However, if you throw insults at me though and make incorrect statements... that isn't helping anyone and just turns this into an argument (which helps nobody and is completely and utterly counter productive - so please use a little sense and don't do that.... it's Christmas after all). |
