Sprozza, I know you to be a football fan, and you know yourself that is a football chant. It's not about hatred for the IRA although I show no fucking respect to those terrorists, when this ong is sung, it's about being a part of something and singing your heart out. Like I said before, I don't particularly give a fuck, I will sing this song and many others to represent my country, continuing when the world cup is on. |

| Just because it is a football chant doesn't make it ok. Its clearly a nationalistic chant thats specifically designed to stir up xenophobia, usually sung by people who's only knowledge of the political situation in Ireland comes from the Daily fucking Star. I bet if there was a chant that went 'we hate all the pakis' or somesuch then you would try and excuse it also with the same weedy excuse that 'its only a football chant so the lyrics dont matter.' | |

By all means assume away about what I would or would not do, IRA are a terrorist group who have bombed innocent people. I know once upon a time their actions may have been portrayed to be justified but that's not how it is anymore our kid. |

I don't support the IRA but its a sensitive topic that is made worse by people like you. and to have some moron, who doesn't even know what they're singing about, ruining it for everyone who likes football for its own sake is annoying. 'NO SURRENDER TO THE IRA'? you've never been asked to surrender to the IRA you plank because there's people who are stationed in Ireland protecting your interests and wankers singing inflammatory shite at football matches just makes their jobs a lot harder. |
