My taste in books changes with my mood, Sometimes fiction, sometimes biographies, sometimes history. For instance I'm currently reading two at the moment, one on the 4th Crusade and the sacking of Constantinople, and one on Scandinavian influences on the UK and Europe during the Viking age.

There is one fiction writter though who's books I love, and I look forward to each new release with baited breath, and that's Michael Connolly. His Bosch series Hits Amazon Prime on the 10th Feb, and of course there's blood work starring Clint Eastwood and The Lincoln Lawyer starring Matthew McConaughey. I'm also a fan of Terry Pratchett, Anne Rice, Laurel K Hamilton and a few other writters, but not to the same extent.

Favorite book to many to list! You should totally friend me on goodreads. My favorite genre is Dark erotica or paranormal romance :)

Read A Fan's Notes by Fred Exley recently. Thoroughly enjoyed it, a very sad book at its core but Exley's prose can be really beautiful, often hilarious and it just emanates with a sense of offhand wisdom I suppose you'd only achieve living a life like he has. Scenes in the looney bin brought me back to Kesey's Cuckoo's Nest. Great book.

Read Blood Meridian by McCarthy before that. I enjoyed it too, the writing felt Biblical at points, but so, so bleak. I guess that's his thing. The Road was too much for me. Definitely liked this one better. 

The Outfit by Gus Russo covers Italian organised crime from the rise of Al Capone onwards; it's a fantastic read and there are genuinely such outlandish (factual) stories in there that if you saw them in a mob movie you'd call bullshit. Great, great read.

I loved books as well, at me minute I am reading the full set of Game of Thones (The song of Ice and Fire) and I cant get enough. Its a little hard to follow because it not based around one person alone but has loads of different stories from different points of view.

I keep meaning to go read The Godfather again I love the book and the detail it goes into when explaining the past. I also like Brad Easton Ellis - American Psycho and the detail it goes into with his clothes and his obsession

A song of Ice and Fire is truly an epic series on books and something i highly recommend it was later adapted into a TV series known as Game Of Thrones

Also i really like The Witcher books its about Geralt of Rivia a monster hunter for hire very good for a dark gritty fantasy with alot of sex and moral dilemmas it truly is an epic series it also contains alot of folklore and myths.

Then there is romance of the three kingdoms all i can say is read this book and get lost in its world 

I love books, especially romance novels.

I really like YA fiction, historical novels around the civil war, comic books and manga, and a lot of the classics as well. My library is filled with an eclectic mix of books that I've collected over the years. I do quite enjoy Michael Connoly as well. 

Speaking of YA fiction, is anyone else bothered that the Divergent factions aren't all nouns or adjectives? Abnegation, Amity, and Candor are nouns, and Dauntless and Erudite are adjectives. Does Veronica Roth have an editor or what

I love books, my mother and I both have our own personal libraries. We both love fantasy and romance, but she leans toward horror and mystery as well.

Fantasy and History are my fav. books. I also like Comics.

I am not going to recommend books like ASOIAF/LOTR OR HARRY POTTER everybody and their mother knows those books.

I happen to read the Maze runner books, i thought they were a very good read, they a written in a way that is more for the teenage genre, but still a good read!

IM ABOUT to start readying the Great Gatsby so i can RP better. 

I really like the book Watership Down by Richard Adams. It's about rabbits. It's a fictional story about rabbits with human-like personalities and they go on an adventure to find a new home and face various obsticales and a vicious enemy. It's not a really a children's book just because it's about rabbits...it's on old english book and the writing can be a bit heavy I suppose, but it's a good story anyway.
