My opinion on this, as was stated in a previous lesson of mine, rules are in place for a reason. You break them, you die. Real pure and simple. It doesn't send a strong message if a Boss tells his Family to keep in line and if they break a rule, they get a bullet in the head. But then they spare someone for breaking one of those rules. When it comes to someone else seeing what's going on, all I have to say is your loyal to your Boss, not someone else. And if you're not, maybe you should be suprised you're still breathing. |

Well Decker you seemed to have brought up an excellent point, since I heard this speech I have been thinking about this oh so important question. It's something I think appears more often then anyone will admit too. I think the problem at hand is that people are placing loyalty to friends above that of family. That in itself is a no no, however there is merit behind these actions if the friend is one of worth and value. Talk to them. Bloodshed is always bad for business so why not avoid it all? Phil got away from it this time, talk him out of doing it again. If you are willing to retain information about them you should be willing to go all the way. Show him the value of not breaking the rules and if he has half a brain he will listen. On the other side of the coin, as a Leader you hate to see people disobey your orders. Now if Phil was a low ranking new scum he would be buried in under an hour. But a high ranking hitter? The family hammer? I would think you would bury that down as far as you can go and start digging some more. Is this right? Or fair? No but this is about survival. By all means he would be on the radar for his natural life. All the same when it comes down to rules, their is always exceptions. This shall be quite the controversial point of view so I shall stick around. Once again bravo Decker. This shall be a good point of discussion. |

A very interesting discussion you have bought up here. I can honestly say that no matter who the person is and how long our bloodlines have know eachother, if i catch wind of one of my members shooting at a sponsored mafiosa's or shooting at anyone he shoudn't be, he will be put in his/her grave. Also, if i found out one of my mebers knew about these shootings and never came forward and bought it to my attention they too would be made dead. No matter how close you are to someone and how long your generations have known eachoher, family ALWAYS comes first, in any situation. |
