It was a very cold and sunny morning in Chicago. What should have been a glorious day for Adrian was being clouded by bloodshed in his own city and the feeling that never in a million years he could have guessed this turn of events and being disappointed and betrayed the way they were. As much as he wanted to mourn, he was being called to the stage to take over a very important task that implied once again the utmost trust from the Godfather of Chicago. Adrian steps up to a bench of a nearby park and starts juggling pistols until he catches the attention of enough people to make his speech. Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. I am here to announce a new captaincy under Godfather Nicky's regime. We will be called "Los Bandoleros". I look forward to working for the Kelly Crime Syndicate and alongside the North Side Mob, as well as with all other leaders and Captains across the nation. I will certainly do my best to make Nicky proud and maintain the level of leadership that he has taught me. The doors to my office will always be open to anybody that wishes to discuss business with me or even just to share a drink. I apologize for not making much of a fuss here, but since I am not starting with a handful of people I already know but rather with a large group of people I still need to get to know, I will go to my HQ to get acquianted with the crew I will be leading. Adrian steps down from the bench and walks away. |

Tommy approaches the scene of the commotion to catch the end of Adrian's speech He's done it, he's only bloody well gone and done it! Tommy hastily makes his way to the front of the crowd, beating his way through the throngs he manages to get close enough to grip his friend tightly by the hand and begins to speak a few words Congratulations Don Adrian. The circumstances to your ascent were slightly unfortunate but nontheless you have finally took this next step on your journey. I have hoped to witness this monumentous occasion for quite some time now and the day has finally come. I take my hat off to you Adrian, we met what seems like a lifetime ago now purely through a chance encounter. I was immediately impressed by your dignified respect and air of professionalism. We kept in touch over the proceeding weeks and during my hour of need you remembered me, taking me 'under your wing'. Basically, if it weren't for you, I would not be here right now. You know how much respect for you I have and my gratitude knows no bounds. Having worked closely with you I know how much this means to you, I also know that you will rise to this new challenge and succeed - your personality simply won't allow failure. It is extremely rare one comes across people like you in this walk of life and I have every confidence that you will go on to create a legacy that will stand the test of time. Tommy replaces his fedora, places his hand on Adrian's shoulder and whispers... "I hope you're as proud of yourself as I am of you right now. Do Chicago proud Don Adrian." |

Fannie, leaving her husbands funeral, hears Adrians speech. She walks up to Adrian and wipes the tears from her cheeks. She hugs Adrian and says Congratulations Sir. You are going to be a great leader. |

Congratulations Adrian. We have worked together in the past and I look forward to doing so in the future. They say from death springs forth life. I cannot wait to see the life you bring to our world of crime. If you're ever in LA look me up, we can sit down on the patio with a bottle (Or three) of wine and catch up. |
