BlackBlack lowers his gun for a second time today and holsters it. He lights up a cigarette and walks towards the dead body of @Richard_Watterson before ashing on it. He turns to again address the crowd who still had not dissipated from the earlier duel:

"Another leader of LA has fallen today. He had no known associates. Hopefully I can rest easy now without being shot at."

BlackBlack again heads to Inglewood.

5 mins later...

BlackBlack arrives at the door of The Lucky Bunny. He takes out his tin of paint and paint brush before painting a large 'X' over the door. He takes a few steps back, lights a cigarette and admires his work.

Barry looks at the graceless X painted over the door of the former Lucky Bunny compound with disgust. Maybe he was just an old Mustache Pete set in his ways, but this struck him as a pretty classless way to operate. 

"At least people still know how business should be done back East" he remarked to his driver, who politely nodded at the Don in response.

BlackBlack steps forward to address Barry and Goto:

"So I assume that you will be directing you associates to stay out of LA and not attack the fortifications which are built into each HQ?"

I do understand that both removed parties did in fact initiate the duel.  As such there's probably going to be some aggravation going into these speeches since BlackBlack was probably planning on going into LA with an open mind on business and local relations.

All the same, it is unfortunate to see this mocking display for one's adversary without any divulgence into what exactly transpired to lead up to this outcome.  After all, the outside world is watching and tactful approaches to street speeches to the public involving the deaths of relatively strong and potentially influential people in this society does usually merit some disclosure.

This is all the opinion of a two-bit wise-guy though, so don't mind me.

Erebus, I myself am unsure of what transpired. I log on to see my members dead, my BGs hit and several failed attempts at my life. I tried to talk it out and was offered duels. 

Barry looks around as his name is called by the local decorator.

"Assume whatever you please. What my family do or do not do is absolutely no concern of yours. And even if it was, a man who disrespects the dead, friends of ours, at their own funeral isn't worthy of any more of my time than I've already wasted on him."

In that case, congratulations on defending your position.  You should be proud of what you have accomplished today.

I know I would be.

Barry, the sons of both of the fallen have both thanked me for my words and actions at their funerals.

Further, I painted a re-enforced door. It is a sign that the HQ is closed and that it fell to the gun of myself.

Before long someone will pull it down as they scavenge for xp.

I see this as highly disrespectful to the men that have fallen today. Respect is tantamount to anything else in this thing of ours, and I think that the act of 'painting the X' on the fallen's door is mere taunting, and highly disrespectful.

Disrespect is the order of the day it would seem Goto, it is clear that power goes right to some peoples heads!

The X on the door is a direct threat to anyone who tries the shit that these men tried today. One does not arrange peace and take resources then use them to take down the man who provided the infrastructure. I find that a lot more disrespectful.

Disrespecting the dead is unacceptable. I don't care if LA is a lawless town, the unwritten rules of our world still apply. 

You don't need to warn a dead man. The death should be warning enough to everyone else, not the taunt at the end. 

I find myself agreeing with many who have already come out to express their feelings on your actions today BlackBlack. Terribly disrespectful. Not only the X on the door, but ashing on the body...who does that? 

Nisha shook her head. 

You see it as disrespect, that is fine. It is no different to anyone else leaving a trademark on a casket. All of my crew members who feel during this also received the same treatment. It is a show of respect for the work they did for me and for the city. Each of the men who fell today worked to make the city something great. Unfortunately things were rushed and people had to fall.
