| Locked Out of New York, Fork Changed the Lock | Started by: ThomasRourke on Jun 03, '09 18:07 |

For a while now I've watched, listened, and observed the behavior of my fellow bold suits in the streets of our cities. A few days ago we saw Flash-Fire get killed for being too mouthy in front of many other crew leaders and right hand men. Now, from what I've gathered, death was not what was offered by the offended party (Detroit), they had issued a proposal that Flash-Fire no longer be allowed to set foot in the city he had criticized so openly. Personally, I think either punishment was justified. I liked that idea though... Not letting people into your city that you do not like to work with instead of resorting to bloodshed. I've killed a lot of people, and while I can't say I haven't enjoyed using the gun, I think there are other ways of dealing with other crew leaders so they don't wind up in the obituaries. Lately, it seems that I have been punishing the people in New York without seeing similar punishments being readily doled out in a couple of other families. This is not me trying to overstep my bounds, even though it sometimes feels like it. I just thought it was universally agreed upon that the penalty for the deaths of those who carry -48 marks and for open disrespect was death. Yet, it's always Marietta or myself having to mail every other leader looking for the witness statements of the -48s or asking what will be done about those who disrespect other mobsters in the Streets or crew rooms. The other day I killed a Don of mine within moments of seeing her kill a -48. I didn't need to be told to look for a witness statement, and I didn't allow her the time to send off her money. She broke a rule and was punished for it. Premier is constantly working to ensure that his family upholds the strict ideals of New York, and yet he also encounters static with other families when he's trying to catch rule breakers. The people I speak of are bold suits for a reason, but have seemingly forgotten. They have gotten soft and I do not respect it one bit. These days when someone shoots a -48 or openly disrespects others it's a huge ordeal to see the person be executed, or the punished party is allowed to choose who their killer will be, where their money will be sent, and time to accept their impending death. I have very specific examples, however I think it is pointless to fully name and shame everyone. Every time I bring something to the attention to a crew leader and their response is, "Well what do you think should happen?" or some variant thereof is what I am taking into account. If other bolds want the rules changed for their people, then by ALL means change them. I'm done pushing on something I thought we all agreed on. However, in your efforts, realize that New York will no longer work with you. You will not be allowed into the city, and we will not have contact with one another unless it is absolutely imperative. Much like what was supposed to happen with Flash-Fire will now happen to you. I refuse to work with people who have trouble being tough on their people, that is not a leader, that is a friend, and the two are vastly different. As of Jun 04 12:01 a.m., the families belonging to Gravol and AlfonsiTimello will no longer be allowed within my city. Get all your inactive kills in now if they are in New York folks, because anyone left regardless of activity, will begin to be killed at 12:02 a.m. I will add more to this list if bold suits approach me and tell me that they don't believe in the fatal punishments for certain actions. This is not in any way me trying to disrespect your families, this is the simple acknowledgment that I will not waste my time and hound you for 30 minutes each time one of your people does something that is normally seen as breaking a rule, because the bottom line is I shouldn't have to. |

Standing next to thomas as he speaks, he waits for him to finish then steps up To long has New York and their fellow allies hunted down rule breakers, trying to find witnesses, Sending word to all families we need information on wrongfull doings. Many times, we come to find out that the witness was found but never turned in, that the boss knew about it all along but played coy with us because they didn't want to see one of their members die. I've killed my own people for shooting -48, for shooting protected members. It's not something i enjoyed doing but it's something i would do everytime and without hesitation. IT is a nesscary thing to keep good order and discpline in New York. We might be about of a crime based organazation, but that dose not give ANYONE, the right to think they are above the rules. They not only disrespect us by breaking rules, but disrespect yourselves as well. New York the city of rules, don't like it? Don't come here, and for some the option is no longer yours. You will stay out of our city. |

stands up in the front of the crowd I know I am gum shit stuck to the show of some of you, how ever I agree with the less death and dismemberment approach. It doesn't force one leader of GF's will upon the other, simply states you will not bring what we consider lower standards to our city as it were. I am not sure about putting other Leaders on blast in the streets but to each his/her own on that aspect. looks on with interest waiting for others to share their cheers or jeers |

I agree with you completely. There should be some way that a CL can redeem there name, either public apology, a large fine or as you said band them from your city. |

Jokes lights up a smoke. Though, my opinion don't amount for much, I have to say I agree with my leaders. As for appologies, what good are they really if it takes a request for the appology. I say the time has passed for it. Good call sirs. |

standing over by the street pole, smoking a joint, and listening intently Marley nods his head in agreement because he is behind anything his Godfather and Don stand for heads off down the alley, abiding by OUR mafia code and respecting its purpose, unlike some |

| I totally agree with you Sir that the penalty of death for those who break rules is a must and every one shall face the consequences of their mistakes whomever they are. | |

caius had been standing a few yards from premier leaning against a favorite corner post and listening intently on what HIS Godfather, and HIS Don had said... I must say that you are each better men then I. Personally, if it was me I would've killed them all and cleaned up the pieces later. Clearly... you each are better men. After a long drawl on another cowboy killer, he sighs... and looks once more toward the crowd Many of you will go to your separate corners and mock the decision and rule that has been made here in and now. Hell you might even have the balls to try and start a war. I would advise those... individuals, a word of caution. Talking disrespectfully, about or around MY Godfather, and MY Don, will leave me with... anger, and you in a graveyard. caius calmy steps down, pats his pistol sitting in his pocket and continues to eye the crowd as he walks towards his post |

I gotta be honest...this is a bit of an eye opener for me. If there are people...Leaders...that are not killing offenders of the -48 killings, its news to me. I will admit that I dont watch the Obits as much as I should and therefor I haven't been as actively searching for the culprits of these killings as I should , I am making a effort to fix that. Me not be proactive doesn't mean that I am not reactive. I will kill anyone in my family that breaks this rule, anyone. I expect all other families to do the same, provided proof is provided with the accusation. I believe strongly in this because these kills (though not always) are new to our cities, fresh off the boat and still wet behind the ears. Instead of loading that gun, maybe you should advise them. Educate them. Tell them: "Hey buddy, you should get a family. And FAST!" That is a simple request, that takes less time then setting up a shot and can in the long run produce enough legit kills that you dont need to break OUR rules. Its not rocket science... |

Have you not heard of Robert Goddard, an American scientist, invented and launched the first liquid-fueled rocket in 1926? It's so last decade... |

I'll admit I was caught off guard when I heard your announcement, Godfather Rourke. However, my captain, has, to my knowledge, not received a single complaint in terms of her members pointing the barrel in the direction of -48s, or for conduct on behalf of her members. While I will respect the policy you have set, it saddens me deeply to have a strain on business relations between Los Angeles when this may have been averted in a private conversation, had I found out beforehand the reasoning of your decision. As I said, however, I plan on respecting your wishes in regards to New York; No one from my captain's crew will enter, and I look forward to the time these issues can be resolved so that our two cities can go back to the normal relationship we have enjoyed in the past. |

Sammy walks up to the street and rubs his eyes. Lack of sleep was getting to him, but he always had time when Thomas decided to come out and talk. Listening intently Sammy nods and mumbles to himself mainly. "Excellent decision sir, I think this plan is an excellent one, and hopefully business with the two cities affected will go unaffected." |

Sammy scratches his head and wonders why that made more sense before he said it aloud. "Hopefully business will go back to normal soon." Sammy sits there and wonders whether that cleared up the confusion or not |

Carter, a stranger to these shores, leans heavily against the rustic brick wall adjacent to the platform they speak from. Taking long drags off his cigarette, he drops it to the ground and puts it out with the sole of his multi-suede shoes. Indifferent, he remains unfamiliar with those around him, but remains silent in calm reflection of things heard and said. More individuals from the crowd contains mixed emotions and facial expressions. However, Carter remains silent out of respect and comes to his own personal conclusion not ready to be voiced. Thinking to himself he realizes the reasoning from both parties, and understands from both directions. Nodding his head to the Don, Carter goes about his daily business with a new outlook on consequential behavior and what affect this could have on those involved. |

I totally agree with Godfather ThomasRourke here... when a members signs the rules he makes an oath, to obey them whatever the issue. If you dont obey the rules, you die. Simple as that... when you sign the rules, you better have read them priorily and make sure you understand everyone of them. There is no excuses for disobeying the rules. It is what we stand for, what we live for. This is our way of life, we have to accept the concequences of our actions. Disobeying the rules is the worst form of disrespect from our kind. In disobeying... whe disrespect our CL... our family... and ourselves. You slip, you die... simple as that! -The Sneak! |

Shakes his head, not at the original speech, but to some of the additions to it. I hate to be a stickler here, but who gives a flying fuck if you agree or not? He's instating a rule, not asking for your wonderful and hugely imaginative contributions. Jesus, adding an opinion is one thing, but the moment I hear the words "I agree with *insert Godfather/Crew Leader here*", I get frustrated. |

| Hinder, you make a good point. To be honest I'm sure that Thomas Rourke doesn't give two shits who agrees with him and who doesn't, as he will enforce his rules. | |
