This has been a long time coming. Many years of service in the Detroit Crime Syndicate have prepared you well for this day. I wish you the best of luck miss. Well deserved <3

Rourke hurried out of the local store and looked down at his watch. He was clearly late to Aurora's celebration, but thought he might be able to sneak in without anyone noticing his tardiness. Rourke took Lab Assistant Chatsworth's jalopy and parked out in front of The Northern Lights' HeadQuarters in Las Vegas. It was a magical car with the ability to drive anywhere in very short periods of time. That Chatsworth was a whiz with automobiles. Rourkey parked onside and sauntered up to the gate. He flashed a quick smile at the man on guard and slipped into the back of the already raging party. Marietta greeted him with a peck on the cheek and whispered in his ear:

"Glad you can make it, I'm just about to give my speech for Aurora."

Marietta walked to the stage and regaled the audience with a tale of how the women first met all the way to Aurora's ascension to the hallowed rank of GodMother. Rourke chuckled a few times at the jokes spread throughout her story and applauded once everything was completed. After both women left the stage, Rourke approached Aurora directly and handed her a bottle of expensive gin. He beamed and congratulated her:

"Congratulations, Aurora. From the first time I was able to squeeze your plentiful bosom, I knew you would definitely be the right woman for the job. You are a woman of strong moral character and beauty who is extremely capable of governing a city with power and grace. If I may help in any way, please let me know. I will continue to bring you tea and crumpets each morning per our agreement."

Rourke kissed Aurora once on each cheek and left the new GodMother to a throng of waiting devotees. With a sparkle in his eye, Rourke walked to the other side of the room where ScipitaRourke was busy entertaining a few suitors each vying for her affection. He reached out a hand and drew her to the dance floor where the two waltzed the night away in honor of Miss RodriguezGonzalesHernandezRourke.

I love Las Vegas, and maybe you being Godmother will increase my gambling luck...

or maybe not.

Congrats on Godmother and on running the great city of Las Vegas!

Granted, I've not been around long or paid much attention to anything, or listened to whatever Henrietta was talking about, but I feel I can say with absolute confidence that this is the third or eight greatest thing to ever happen to the beautiful city of Las Palmas, and I sincerely hope the lovely miss Aurora enjoys all of the culture and adventure Spain has to offer.

Oh, Las Vegas? What a dump.

Congrats Aurora! Our bloodlines date back to a land very similar to this, yet so very different. I am so proud of you, and all you've accomplished since our first generations walked these streets so many years ago. I have always been honored to call you a great friend, and seeing you reach the highest honor in our world puts an ear to ear smile on my face. I know you'll do great things with Las Vegas; the city is in great hands with you in control.

You certainly got the fire down below!

Kates, standing at the edge of the crowd, waits for a lull in the conversation before piping up.

Congratulations, Aurora- uh...

Kates strains to remember for a moment before a look of resignation falls over her face and she yanks a small piece of paper out from where it was tucked in her bra.

Aurora... Elizabeth Rodriguez Gonzales Hernandez Rourke. That's quite the mouthful for me.

Realizing what she just said, she narrows her eyes at Rourke in a menacing way as she puts the paper back. He starts to speak, but her glare freezes him and he thinks better of it. Smiling, Kates returns to the subject at hand.

Miss Aurora, I've only known you a short time and I deeply regret that I'll not be able to work with you directly in the future. My father was a great admirer of yours and, while I regret that I may not be seeing you as much on a daily balance, I am entirely thrilled for you. Las Vegas is a wonderful city and I have no doubt you'll flourish there. There is no one more deserving and able- I wish you the best of luck!
